NASA images find 1.7 million year old man made bridge.

1.7 million year old bridge built by man over 30 miles long. Photos and construction match an ancient story of a Bridge just about where the story depicts. If found to be solid proof it will be the oldest existing proof of man and his abilities.

Of the two pictures in the article the bottom one, which is this one being 18 miles long could get pretty scary crossing on foot with nothing but water around you, I imagine.

Interestingly, the bridge was discovered in what is now Fort Lee, New Jersey
And all the lanes are at a standstill.
Here is a picture of him. He attributes his longevity to only smoking non-filtered Camels as to why he has lived so long.
I remember when the bridge was first built...as a child we would practice walking on water while crossing it....
Were there tolls booths involved in this 1.7 million year old story?

If the dating on this is validated, it's going to call for a drastic re-thinking about our whole concept of 'prehistoric' civilization. At 1.8 million yrs, it's more than twice as old as the current idea of 'homo erectus', supposedly using rocks & sticks as tools. I've always found it hard to figure that 'man' in some form was around at least a half-million years without doing diddly-squat, and 'suddenly' 15-20 thousand yrs ago we've got an incredible upswing in economic, political & social organization.
Obviously, an 18-mile-long structure wasn't built by any hunter-gatherer society. Any way you figure it, a project like this requires a large established agricultural society able to supportthousands of available 'surplus' workers collaborating foryears. Considering how long we've been discounting and 'debunking' the legends of Mu and Atlantis, the increasing amount of evidence for well-developed 'prehistoric' civilizations is getting harder and harder to ignore...
Has there been no carbon-dating that can confirm approximately the age of the structure? The story lacks credibility without some scientifically proven method of determining age.
