My birthday video-- a present from my son!

This is my birthday present from my son!  I have, of course, cried, which is what one just does when you're this age...   Thank you for the greatest gift-- one of my family!

Buzz, please accept my apologies for not being able to publish this anywhere but YouTube...

Thanks, all of you, for coming by!

I'm still in a state of shock at this!  The music!  The pictures!  The people I love so much-- even though few of them are here, they still live in my heart!

Thanks for coming by!

Lady Dowser thank you so much for sharing.  Your son is so thoughtful and incredibly sweet.  I love the pictures and the music was perfect.  Your son clearly loves you.  Did you do anything special for your birthday?

We went to a band competition, and everyone was absolutely lovely to me!  I got to hug most of the kids and their parents, and shared so many wonderful moments with friends and family!  It was perfect!  Words cannot describe how much it meant to me to be with my family, and friends-that-are-family!  I feel full of love today!!!  YAY, that's a good way to feel!!!

Oh, and the band director allowed me to bang the big Chinese gong, once!  I've wanted to do that for 40+ years, and finally got to!!!  WHAT FUN!

I lived right close to that feller for a long time.  Never saw him though.  I'm a fan.  Anyone who still makes Oat Operas is alright by me.

He's a great guy!  Meaning to no disrespect, but I think I'll stick to my dear husband...  My dear husband is on the left!  Happy

Dear Friend Dowser: What was wonderful and moving testament to you from your family.

This really gets me "In the Mood".

Mine would to do the same, save for technical difficulties.

It seems youtube can't take Petroglyphs on Papyrus  very well.

The love your family shows for you is awe inspiring.

Happy Birthday.

By Mid November mine will come.

Finally, I will be legally able to vote.

Enoch, Sipping from the Fountain of Youth.

Got any extra juice?  I need some!  Still barely walking-- hoping to get into the doctor soon!

Love you, dear Enoch!

Thank you, dear friend!  I am so pleased with it!

Is that first song Moonlight Serenade by Glenn Miller?  I know it is a Glen Miller hit, but not sure which one!

Have you ever heard what the band Chicago did with that song?

I think those are the original lyrics-- and Chicago does it so well!!!  I have a recording from the 40s somewhere, when someone like the White Cliffs of Dover singer sings them...  Whose name escapes me right now...  I'm just too old to remember...  Vera something?

LOVE this song!

He was born good, dear Tex, I had nothing to do with it!  All I've done is love him!  I'm utterly stunned by this!  How he knew to make this for me, I'll never know, but it is infinitely precious to me!  So many of the people I love...  It means everything!

That's what I say about my daughter as well.

Your son did a mighty fine job on this vid.   Quite lovely on its own.   I do love old fambly pics.   We've got tons of old movies dating back to the '30's.  It's the Deep Ass South, so lots of nekkid babies running round at pig pickins and such.  Guns, cars, bridges, Sunday Go to Meeting clothes.

Some of them are old old south.  Lots of little white kids in Sunday clothing at birfdays and teas with lines of black ladies sitting together or chasing them around.   Like moving images of a dying apartheid.  It ain't dead quite yet but somebody needs to throw a hatchet at it.  The entire concept needs to cross the rive Jordan.  So to speak.

He sure knows how to please his Mama!  He's been helping me all weekend, when he could.  I couldn't do without him!  Thanks so much!  I'll tell him what you said, and he'll be pleased!

That was very nice Dowser.  What can one say, you're a very fortunate lady and they are very fortunate to have you.

Maybe this will work for Buzz, I don't know.  Everyone knows this isn't by Sixpick, I hope. LOL

Thanks, dear A. Mac-- I've only watched it about 20 times, and I cry, each time...  My family-- the people I loved best, all came to see my on my birthday, thanks to my wonderful son, who has enriched my life from the very beginning...

I have put all the pictures that you fixed for me in a separate folder, and he didn't have access to them, because I didn't put them on a flash drive and give them to him.  He did great, restoring some of these old pictures!  Not as good as you, but he's trying hard!

Thank you, my dear friend, for all that you do for all of us!
