I've walked the path in the image many times … it's spiritual, but, the deeper in to the woods I go, the scarier it gets … especially on overcast days when the trees have full foliage … this is Black Bear country.
But it's compelling, and, should any of you visit me and we head up from Philly to the Pocono Mountains, I will, if you are willing, invite you to walk the path with me.
There is another trail that forks to west … (the one in the image goes to the north) … it's just as spiritual and just as eerie … but I walk that one as well.
There are several streams nearby … I'll show you those too … then we'll go fishing … I'll take you to dinner, and, after dark, we'll sit on my porch, and if it's a dark, moonless night, we'll stand on the road and look at the Milky Way.
These are places where most people can, in fact, learn more.
