Dear Friend AMAC: My violets came and went already.

They are here early to maybe mid spring.

I love to see them as first flowers of spring in my yard and garden.

The "variation" is my preference between the two versions, although the misty Phlox would make a great muted wallpaper for a baby's room.  I chanced upon some nice flowers on my walk today:

I'm not sure, A.Mac. The leaves are more narrow and pointy than what is usual on Morning Glories - it could be a more unusual species of them.

I'm posting more photos of them, including a bee on them, on the Creative Arts articles.
