Alan Dershowitz Rips NY AG’s Trump Lawsuit: ‘Who Were the People Defrauded Here? The Biggest Banks in the World’
Why can’t the biggest banks sue him and take care of themselves?

Does AG Letitia James not think that "Big Money Banks" can handle their own Issues if Fraud actually occurred, against their institution ?

Sounds, Feels and Looks "Political" to me.

She ..... Letitia James .... Promised in her campaign to go after Donald J. Trump.

Alan Dershowitz to Newsmax: Letitia James 'Undignified,' 'Disgrace' to Law

New York Attorney General Letitia James, a Democrat, has exposed herself as a biased and unfit prosecutor by promising to go after former President Donald Trump, and she should be investigated, disciplined and potentially disbarred, legal expert Alan Dershowitz told  Newsmax.

''The role of the prosecutor is not to get people, it's to do justice,'' Dershowitz said on Tuesday's '' Spicer & Co. '' ''She is not in the justice business. She is in the political-gotcha business.

''She is so undignified,'' he added. ''She brings the law into contempt and people, when they see her make statements like that, say, 'this is not the law; this is just political weaponization.'

A ttorney  Alan Dershowitz  dismissed the New York attorney general’s civil fraud lawsuit against former President  Donald Trump  Wednesday as “political.”

The Harvard Law School professor emeritus also argued those allegedly defrauded were large banks who, if they feel defrauded, can go after Trump on their own.

New York AG  Letitia James   announced  a civil suit against the former president and three of his adult children Wednesday morning. James accused the family and others in the Trump organization of inflating the values of the business’s assets dating back years in order to secure favorable loan terms.

The state of New York wants to collect  $250 million  and also ban the former president, as well as  Donald Trump Jr. Eric Trump  and  Ivanka Trump  from practicing business in their home state.

On Newsmax TV’s American Agenda, Dershowitz argued James is fulfilling a campaign promise by going after Trump. He also argued if the lawsuit were legitimate, those who were victims of fraud are capable of suing the Trump family on their own.

Sensible and reasonable Question to ask Little Missy "I'll get you and your little Dog too" !

Dershowitz has degraded himself in the eyes of the world by his unfailing submission to the wishes of Donald Trump.

I think Trump has some dirt on Dershowitz that the law professor is desperate to not have come out.

Your world ?

Used to be, back in the Clinton Years, Dershowitz was a Great hero in Liberal land, for defending Bill Clinton.

Remember this:

Alan Dershowitz defends Bill Clinton, saying he wasn’t a perv on Jeffrey Epstein’s island compound

Not just John's world, but a much wider one.  I used to think that Dershowitz should have been appointed to the SCOTUS, and now I think he's just a senile old man who defends Trump when he half-awakens from his stupor.  After all, he used to be famous for defending the undefendable so that's what he's trying to maintain.

Bill has that all important D behind his name.

Anything concerning the Clintons criminal activities is nothing more than a vast right wing conspiracy.

I was thinking more about Claus Von Bulow and O.J.Simpson.  I once sat next to O.J.Simpson on a flight from Buffalo to Miami and had no idea who he was until later.  He had a clothing bag with the initials OJ on it, and the flight attendants were exceptionally accommodating with him.  That was before the murder, of course.

Dershowitz is a democrat, one who is consistent.

You have no problem with an AG who campaigned on "getting Trump?"

I'd rather believe he needs to be "got' than to pretend he is innocent.

So you told us way back on that fateful day when you thought the Mueller investigation might just have nothing, but you hoped they might find something...anything.

I'll never forget that moment of truth.

By the way the civil suit is not just about Trumps dealings with banks or insurance companies, as Dershowitz well knows.

It's also about Letitia James getting re-elected.

She is trying to move up in the Democrat Party.

If this wasn't just a political hit job she would have filed criminal charges against Trump. Of course she is using the same damn evidence a DA just turned down filing criminal charges on.

Democrats think they are the law. It doesn't apply to them; and it means whatever they say it does at any given time.

Funny how this coincides with things turning worse in the investigation into the criminal Biden family.

Waiting for Garland to try and claim he is impartial.

Democrats are great at accusing others of what they are really guilty of.

Correct!

We won't get anywhere near Hunter Biden until next year.

Always!
