Just something of interest....

On July 19, 2007 MEMRI held a briefing on Capitol Hill focusing on Jihadist Websites hosted in the U.S. At the briefing, the new MEMRI Public Service Guide was introduced. The MEMRI PSG is a service offered to Internet Service Providers to submit Arabic-language websites that they are hosting for verification that they are not jihadist.
The event also produced MEMRI's Civic Action for a Jihad-Free Internet (CAJFI) initiative. MEMRI informs ISPs about the jihadist material they are hosting and promoting, and a committee comprising high-level distinguished individuals advises them to remove it. Experience has shown that the ISPs who have no idea who and what they are hosting are more than willing to remove them when informed of the content. ISPs have negligible financial incentives to host these websites.
THE MEMBERS OF MEMRI'S CAJFI BOARD ARE:
Sen. Joe Lieberman (I/D-CT)
Sen. Jon Kyl (R-AZ)
Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA)
Rep. Gary Ackerman (D-NY)
Rep. Peter King (R-NY)
