Let’s go Brandon is going into more Orwellian double speak and dystopian actions by the day.  Biden and the blue parts of America are turning on and vilifying other Americans and they are making a stand of their own. Tucker yet again absolutely nailed it with what he said here.

There is a limit to how far you can push Americans

The actions of Southwest Airlines' pilots show there will be backlash to Biden's vaccine mandates

NEW You can now listen to Fox News articles!

Joe Biden showed up at a construction site in Illinois last Thursday to explain what a terrific job he's been doing. Biden's poll numbers, you may have noticed, have declined recently, not just by a little bit, but by such a dramatic margin that some prominent Democrats are openly worried about it. The midterms are in a year.

Sponsored

So the point of last week's appearance outside Chicago was to remind all of us in the country that our perceptions of Biden's performance are silly and baseless. Actually, Joe Biden is a great president. He's totally aware of what's happening. He's completely on top of things. He knows exactly what he's doing and he's got your well-being at heart. Not the narrow economic interests of some soulless multinational corporation that hates America and your family. No, you! Because Joe Biden is awesome.

TEXAS GOV. GREG ABBOTT BANS ‘ANY ENTITY’ FROM ENFORCING A COVID-19 MANDATE

And to prove it. Biden talked at length about the COVID vaccine. His greatest achievement, he said. Now, strangely, Biden didn't say a lot about the vaccine itself. He did note that if you get the shot, you could not spread COVID to other people. And if there were doctors in the audience, they might have been confused because that is ridiculously and provably untrue. Of course, the vaccinated can spread COVID, and they do.

But Biden didn't pause and dwell on the science such as it is. Instead, Biden spent virtually his entire speech attacking any American who hasn't yet gotten the shot. Now you've heard him say that a lot, but it's worth taking a closer look at what Joe Biden said last week outside Chicago. Go, look it up for yourself. It's on the C-SPAN website.

As you watch it, ask yourself, has any president in our history ever talked about millions of American citizens like this? This is the way presidents talk about foreign enemies or dictators talk about enemies in their midst. It's not the way American presidents talk, or ever have. Ever, for any reason, under any circumstances. We can't think of a single example, even during the Civil War.

And yet, according to Joe Biden , unvaccinated Americans are the root of this country's problems. They're destroying our economy. They are killing our people. The unvaccinated, Biden said, are solely responsible for the outbreak of the Delta variant of COVID, the outbreak that has left tens of thousands of Americans dead.

AIRLINES BOWING TO A ‘PRESS RELEASE’; VAX MANDATE A ‘MIRAGE’ NOT YET ON BOOKS: WATTERS

Biden noted this to the morbidly obese governor of Illinois, J.B. Pritzker , who nodded from behind his mask as if all of this was settled science. And then Joe Biden kept going. The unvaccinated are dangerous, he announced. They are diseased. They're dirty. They are unpatriotic. They are selfish. They are pathogens in human form. They have caused this deadly virus to "spread to our children, to spread throughout society."

They suffer because of their absurdity and their self-inflicted suffering burdens the rest of us. They "overcrowd our hospitals" like a plague of swarming, gasping insects, they "overrun our emergency rooms and intensive care units." Americans. And as they lie, they're ventilated, dying, reaping the rewards of their own sin, these miscreants "leave no room for someone with a heart attack or in need of a cancer operation."

These people get no sympathy because they're barely people. The unvaccinated Biden told us. Die their much-deserved deaths, but even as they die, they burdened the rest of us. That's how horrible they are. They're subhuman they’re wreckers of a nation.

We're not overstating any of this, by the way. Go watch Biden's speech, it's online. The question is: once you've identified a diseased fifth column like this within the country that you run, What do you do with them? Biden got to that toward the end of his speech.

JOE BIDEN:  These requirements work, and as the Business Roundtable, others told me when I announced the first requirement that encourage businesses to feel they could come in and demand the same thing of their employees. More people are getting vaccinated, more lives are being saved. Let's be clear: when you see headlines and reports of mass firings and hundreds of people losing their jobs, look at the bigger story. … Over the past week we've seen American, Southwest, Alaska, JetBlue Airlines all announce requirements.

Yeah, there have been mass firings, the president said. But when you see reports of mass firings of law-abiding American citizens, Joe Biden told us, what you're really seeing is progress. You should celebrate.

SEATTLE RESIDENTS WILL ‘PAY THE PRICE’ AS UNVACCINATED COPS FACE TERMINATION, SAYS UNION OFFICIAL

Think about that. No American president has ever made a statement like that, cheering the firing of law-abiding Americans in the multitudes. But Joe Biden did. He didn't even pause. He says things like that regularly. Now that's fine if you're on Joe Biden's side, apparently.

But what if Joe Biden was talking about you? What if he was talking about your livelihood, your career, the future of your family? How would you feel? We should consider that, because these are Americans he's talking about, and as we do consider that, think about what happened to air travel in America over the weekend.

Southwest Airlines, you may have read this, one of our biggest carriers all but shut down on Saturday and Sunday, the airline canceled thousands of flights. It threw the nation's famously efficient system of air travel into total chaos. It's stranded countless travelers in airports. Again, you saw it on the news.

The question is how did this happen? Well the official explanation came right away. It was bad weather on the eastern seaboard. There were thunderstorms. There were also unspecified issues with air traffic control and all of that together forced Southwest Airlines, alone among airlines, to cancel its flights.

That's what the company Southwest Airlines claimed. They claim that in a statement to us today, a long statement. It's what many media outlets have repeated uncritically for the past two days.

MSNBC'S CHRIS HAYES HIT FOR SPREADING ‘MISINFORMATION’ ABOUT MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY TREATMENTS

And yet we can tell you it is untrue. All of that is a lie. It's not what happened. We've spoken to several people with direct knowledge of what actually did happen. We can tell you that the shutdown of Southwest Airlines over the weekend was a direct consequence - it was a reaction to - Joe Biden's vaccine mandates.

It began last week when Gary Kelly who is a CEO of Southwest, sent an internal memo to his employees declaring that, per Joe Biden's directive, any Southwest employee who was not fully vaccinated by the 8th of December will be fired. Canned. Done, right before Christmas.

Now, this would include not simply pilots on Southwest and flight attendants, of course, but ramp workers, mechanics, dispatchers, schedulers, ticket agents, people from the top to the very bottom. Many thousands of people.

Now, some unknown but apparently large number of these people have still not been vaccinated. Why is that? Well, many of them have already recovered from COVID. They have antibodies that offer them greater protection than any vaccine ever could. That's the science. So they don't want the vaccine.

Others have sincere religious objections. They object to the use of aborted fetal tissue in the development of pharmaceuticals. So they don't want it. They believe it violates their faith. Still, others have friends or co-workers or relatives who have suffered severe side effects from the vaccine, and therefore they are afraid to take it. That makes sense. Don't make fun of them. That's real.

INTERNET REACTS TO FAUCI GIVING BLESSING TO CELEBRATE HALLOWEEN: ‘NO ONE ASKED HIM’

And yet others are taking a stand purely on principle. They believe that in a free country, politicians should never be allowed to force citizens to submit to medical treatment they don't want. These are Americans who grew up in a country where that fact was taken for granted, everybody assumed it, and they want to preserve that country for their children. That's their motive.

But whatever their various reasons, the unvaccinated employees of Southwest Airlines, the many of them, are decent, high functioning Americans, and they have watched as their own government has dismissed them out of hand as criminals for reasons that don't even make sense.

Consider the argument they're hearing from Joe Biden: You must get the shot for the sake of people who've already gotten the shot because the shots don't work well enough to protect the people who've already gotten them. That's what Joe Biden and the entire American health establishment is telling them. So imagine making that argument to an airline pilot, someone whose entire job is based on logic. It is utterly bewildering to them, because it doesn't make sense. It's just too unreasonable.

"I've flown military jets in three different war zones," one pilot told us this weekend. "I have never lost sleep like this. The stress is beyond belief. It's dangerous." People are melting.

So this weekend in protest, a large number of southwest pilots called out sick and they effectively shut down their airline. And many of them, you should know, admire the company they work for. They love Southwest Airlines, but they felt they had no choice but to do this. Nobody was standing up for them, not the United States Congress, which, by the way, has exempted itself from vaccine mandates, not even their labor union, which exists and is paid to defend them. But they're not.

TAMMY BRUCE: BIDEN DIDN'T EXPECT THIS KIND OF BACKLASH TO VACCINE MANDATES

So in desperation, the pilots committed the most basic act of nonviolent civil disobedience, something we used to celebrate in this country. They stayed home. Now, at the same moment, they decided to do this, a large group of air traffic controllers apparently reached the very same conclusion. An estimated 6,000 federal air traffic controllers have not yet received the Biden mandated shot. That's nearly half of all air traffic controllers in this country. And they all, as federal employees, have until next month to submit or they will be fired. And when they are fired, our air traffic control system, which is already dangerously short-staffed, ask anyone who works in it, will stop. It will cease completely just in time for the holidays.

Now, once again, the controllers union has been no help to them. And once again, the media have aligned with the Biden White House to vilify them, not as people who are being persecuted as a matter of conscience, but as criminals. So on Friday, apparently, they took action. The air traffic control headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida, known to all pilots as Jacksonville Center, shut down. This never happens. It didn't even happen when there was a fire in a Chicago air traffic control center. They managed to keep air traffic control going.

But this weekend, Jacksonville Center shut down because there was simply no one to man it. There was no one there. The effects of this were profound, and they were immediate. Jacksonville Center controls the airspace in this country from Orlando to Raleigh, North Carolina, as well as far out over the Atlantic Ocean. That's some of the most crowded air routes in the world.

Air traffic controllers in Atlanta watched as planes headed for South Florida, rerouted west, and wound up over the Mississippi River. That would be the world's longest detour. And for a moment, in the chaos, it became clear that Joe Biden is not the only person in this country who has power. It turns out there is a limit to how far you can push some Americans.

So in that way, it might have been cast as an inspiring story - man against the machine. But the media had no interest in telling that story. In fact, some on the corporate left suggested the Southwest pilots had somehow committed what is known as an illegal job action. Illegally not showing up for work, as if politicians have a right to force Americans to labor against their will.

Now, some of us had assumed that was a condition we would recognize as the textbook definition of slavery. But no, it's illegal not to work, they told us. And then at least one outlet describe what the pilots had done as "domestic terrorism." Get to work immediately wage earner or you're al Qaeda.

There were more cancellations at Southwest Airlines today, no doubt there will be more to come and not just of airline flights. At least two Amtrak train routes in the Northeast were canceled over the weekend and, so was a regularly scheduled car ferry in Washington state out to the San Juan Islands. In all cases, the employees in question, who have been told to get the shot, did not show up.

Were these also protests against the Biden shot mandates? We can't say for certain. It certainly wouldn't surprise us, because that's our future. Thousands and thousands of Americans, the best among us in many cases, will be stripped of their livelihoods, of their lives by the Biden White House's mandates.

This is not a small thing. As of tonight, more than 50,000 U.S. Marines still have not received the shot, as well as a large percentage of the Navy SEAL teams. What will happen when these people are gone from the force? Who's going to protect this country? Who's going to protect our cities?

In Seattle, to name just one example, the city is moving forward toward firing fully 40 percent of the entire police force over the Biden shot mandates. Good luck getting your emergency calls answered after that, and so on.

Our hospitals, our schools, our national labs, scientists and researchers at Oak Ridge and Los Alamos, among others. All torn apart by a purge overseen by Susan Rice that has nothing whatsoever to do with public health and everything to do with the accumulation of political power.

That is happening right now. Make no mistake, it will continue to happen unless good people work immediately to stop it.

…A commercial airline pilot slammed President Biden for his September edict mandating most U.S. employees receive an injection of the coronavirus vaccine to be able to keep their jobs, as Southwest Airlines continues to grapple with hundreds of canceled flights initially blamed on weather and other issues.

Joshua Yoder, co-founder of U.S. Freedom Flyers, told Fox News on Monday that pilots and other staff should not be forced to submit to an injection of unwanted pharmaceuticals at the order of their government.

"My motive for resisting it is primarily religious for myself. Among my friends I saw a need. Many of us don’t want to take this. People were being coerced, I believe in freedom and I’m here to support the freedom of my fellow employees and all people across this country. I’m not going to take a mandate, I’m not going to be forced to do something I don’t believe in," he said on "Tucker Carlson Tonight."

Yoder warned that if the warning from the past weekend isn't heeded, the effect of thousands of American workers being fired en masse will have devastating and lasting effects on the U.S. economy as well as everyday life for all Americans:

"If you have flights reduced by 30% because 30% of pilots are fired because they won’t take the vaccine, this is going to affect how your goods get here from overseas, how they are distributed to the store," he said.

"The same thing is happening with the truckers, it’s happening in the shipping industry. Those Amazon boxes that typically show up in two days, you might be looking at three weeks."

In that regard, host Tucker Carlson said this entire situation would've been avoidable had it not been for a "purge overseen by Susan Rice" of unvaccinated Americans: "[It] ha[s] nothing whatsoever to do with public health and everything to do with the accumulation of political power."

While Biden continues to act as if he has all of the power in this equation, Yoder said the opposite is true, as evidenced by the alleged mass sick-outs or walkouts.

"First of all, we have all the control, and the control comes from a simple word, and that is ‘no’," he said. "We just don’t need to comply."

"As far as I’m concerned I will never promote a sick-out or a work action that is illegal. With U.S. Freedom Flyers, the organization I'm with, we will never promote such a thing. With that being said, we also cannot control the actions of individuals. And I think that you will see massive disruptions in supply chain and in your travel if we just stand up and say no.

"If these companies fire us and they fire 30% of the workforce, aircraft are going to stop moving and it’s going to affect you. It’s going to affect your air travel and it’s going to affect the economy."

Carlson noted Biden's habit to date is to criticize and target Americans who do not comply with his personal wishes – pointing to a recent speech alongside Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker in which Biden attacked "the unvaccinated" as risking economic and medical turmoil.

"The unvaccinated patients are leaving no room for someone with a heart attack or in need of a cancer operation and so much more because they can’t into the ICU.  They can’t get into the operating rooms," Biden claimed.

"The unvaccinated also put our economy at risk because people are reluctant to go out," Biden added, with Carlson commenting that no American president has ever spoken like this about his own people.

Carlson went on to ask Yoder what he will think when Biden potentially blames him or others like him for the multifaceted repercussions of the walkouts if they were multiplied.

"It's his fault," replied Yoder. "It is squarely his fault."

"I think anyone with a critical mind can point towards the federal government of the companies that are enforcing these illegal mandates from the federal government and see that it’s the federal government’s fault."

Biden knows he’s a one term President due to age and cognitive issues.  He’s always been way to the left and not a moderate by the various rating/ grading given out by various groups.  It’s no surprise based on the rankings that he’s hard left in office despite the moderate veneer his msm allies gave him. So, going dictator mode rather than President knowing he will never again face the voters is a natural for him as a person to do.

This seed shows that conservatives don't see liberals, progressives, centrists and any other rational American citizen as "American" considering they are claiming that there is only so far "you can push Americans". You seem to support the slew of recent voting laws that were crafted by Republicans with data on voting patterns by race in hand that "target African-Americans with almost surgical precision," according to the courts.

There is no real talk of a literal actual civil war.

" In northwestern Wisconsin, the chairman of the St. Croix County Republican Party was forced to resign Friday after refusing for a week after the siege to remove an online post urging followers to “prepare for war.”

" Phil Reynolds, a member of the GOP central committee in California’s Santa Clara County, appeared to urge on insurrectionists on social media during the Jan. 6 attack, declaring on Facebook: “The war has begun. Citizens take arms!"

Perhaps you should spend your time on conservative sites letting your people know that they don't need to stockpile their weapons and ammo because no one actually wants another civil war.

What I put forward is mainstream Christian conservative policy positions

I would not characterize any of your seeds or posts as being anything close to "mainstream". Toxic creek perhaps, but certainly not mainstream.

Look Jeremy, you are trying to defend Trump's lie.   That is equivalent to you not dismissing it as ridiculous.   How the fuck can any rational mind take the facts of the election and give credence to Trump's bullshit?

But I'm not the one calling it a lie with nothing to show otherwise.

Nothing to show for it?

Open your eyes man.   The US electoral process executed and determined the winner.   Allegations of fraud were adjudicated and dismissed as groundless.   Countless recounts produced nothing of significance.   Bullshit after bullshit after bullshit has been exposed and you are still here asking for proof that this is a lie.

When someone claims a rigged election they are the ones with the burden of proof.   The evidence screams that Trump's claim of 'rigged election' is complete bullshit and Trump has nothing of value to support his bullshit.

Yet, here you are, trying to defend Trump's lie by asking for more proof.   A rational position would be to ask for Trump to provide persuasive evidence of this claim, not to ignore all evidence that shows Trump is lying.

Absolutely amazing.

Our entire electoral process, the adjudication of 61 lawsuits and countless recounts is not sufficient for you to comprehend that Trump was and is lying about a rigged election.    And on top of that, Trump has no evidence to support his ridiculously obvious lie.

But no matter how much evidence to the contrary, you return with nuh'uh and nothing to support Trump's claim.

Very well.   This forum should then rightly consider you to be one of those who defends Trump's Big Lie.

Because they have "skin" in it. I will liken it to a full capacity stadium:

MichiganStadium.jpg

It is safe to assume that 99.99% of the participants and spectators who engage and bother to appear in this setting have chosen a side to cheer to victory. Their side they will use their voice (commentary) to 'root' for in support of a cause.

Moreover, in your mind's eye, see these people watching 30,000 half-truths, misleading statements, and outright lies coming from center-arena. Now throw in one whole "Big Lie" coming up from the middle. . . it is impossible that 99.99% of those in the stands would miss the 'making' of this one all-consuming LIE.

It was/has not/can not missed. It is being cheered on.The main floor is built to be in sight of all attendees!

The moral of this: In our roles as liberals, secularists, and others - some conservatives want us to accept and agree that we have no rights and privileges that a (Trump) conservative ought to acknowledge.

To complete the effect, unfortunately, they have to follow the delusions of Donald Trump in his role as leader no matter where these lead them.  And, it is shameful. Thus, they put forward that they are conscienceless when it comes to liberals, secularists, and others.

Watch: Jan. 6 Video That Was Suppressed Shows Capitol Police Officer Waving Protesters Into Building

by Kyle Becker about 2 hours agoupdated about 2 hours ago

An unedited surveillance video from January 6 shows Capitol Police officers not only letting protesters walk unimpeded into the Capitol building, but one officer actually invites them in by waving them along. The previously suppressed and newly released video can be watched below:

The footage was reported by Buzzfeed’s Zoe Tillman, but does not note that the Capitol Police officers appear entirely complicit in allowing the protesters unfettered access into the Capitol building.

“A pair of US Capitol surveillance videos disclosed last week by prosecutors offer a new perspective into how a mob overwhelmed police officers and repeatedly breached a main access point to the building during the Jan. 6 riots,” Buzzfeed reports.

“The footage shows a small team of US Capitol Police officers vastly outnumbered by the crush of people trying to get in,” Tillman says, although the footage does not comport with this claim. “There are at most five officers in the frame at any given moment; hundreds of people flow through that entry point on the Upper West Terrace of the Capitol over the span of roughly 13 minutes. The rioters in large part do not turn around when police try to block their path but appear to argue and negotiate before they push past officers or until the officers retreat.”

“The videos don’t have sound, but they show tense verbal exchanges as the officers make several attempts to stop the mob from getting inside,” the reporter claims.

However, police officers did not try to significantly block or obstruct the protesters’ path. In fact, you can see an officer waving the protesters along at about the 1:00 mark in the video. The surveillance videos show an orderly procession into the Capitol building, no violence to speak of, and people strolling around calmly within the building.

More footage from the Capitol riots throws further doubt on the mainstream media’s narrative that the unarmed protesters entering the Capitol building on January 6th constituted a violent “insurrection.”

“A newly-obtained video shows United States Capitol Police officers speaking with several January 6 protestors—including Jacob Chansley, the so-called ‘Q shaman’—inside the Capitol that afternoon,” American Greatness earlier reported.

“One officer, identified in the video and confirmed by charging documents as Officer Keith Robishaw, appears to tell Chansely’s group they won’t stop them from entering the building,” the report noted.

“We’re not against . . . you need to show us . . . no attacking, no assault, remain calm,” Robishaw says.

“This has to be peaceful,” Chansley yelled at the crowd. “We have the right to peacefully assemble.”

“The video directly contradicts what government prosecutors allege in a complaint filed January 8 against Chansley,” American Greatness notes.

“Robishaw and other officers calmed the protestors somewhat and directed them to leave the area from the same way they had entered. Chansley approached Officer Robishaw and screamed, among other things, that this was their house, and that they were there to take the Capitol, and to get Congressional leaders.”

“Chansley later is seen entering the Senate chambers with a police officer behind him; he led several protesters in prayer and sat in Vice President Mike Pence’s chair,” the report continued.

The optics are striking: Capitol police stood around as protesters entered the Senate chambers and made speeches. Dozens entered the Capitol building after literally having the door held open for them, and then merely walked in a single file line and took pictures.

In fact, the FBI has not charged any of the protesters with “insurrection” or “treason”; the most widespread investigation in U.S. history, according to the bureau, has been unable to turn up any evidence of a centralized plot to install Donald Trump.

“The FBI has found scant evidence that the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol was the result of an organized plot to overturn the presidential election result, according to four current and former law enforcement officials,” Reuters reported….

Some conservatives are ones to talk: Just look at Texas 'eating' Hispanic and Black American 'numbers' in the redistricting headlines:

Texas reduces Black and Hispanic majority congressional districts in proposed map, despite people of color fueling population growth

Texas lawmakers on Monday released their first draft of a new congressional map that would largely protect incumbents while reducing the number of districts in which Black and Hispanic residents make up the majority of eligible voters. The map reduces the number of districts dominated by people of color even though Texas gained two additional congressional seats and the population of Asian, Black and Hispanic Texans outpaced white Texans over the last decade.

Republicans constructed the map with incumbent protection in mind — a strategy that focused on bolstering vulnerable GOP seats rather than aggressively adding new seats that could flip from blue to red. However, the map does in fact strengthen Republican positioning overall in Texas, going from 22 to 25 districts that would have voted for Donald Trump in 2020. The number of congressional districts that voted for Joe Biden would have shrunk by one, from 14 to 13.

While many incumbents appear safe in these maps, others were drawn into districts that overlap with one another — for example, the proposed map pits Houston Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw against Democrat Rep. Sylvia Garcia. It also pits two Houston Democrats — Reps. Al Green and Sheila Jackson Lee — against each other.

Democrats, who have been out of power for decades, have attempted to make state elections more competitive but the redrawing of congressional maps gives the GOP an opportunity to lock in their advantage for another decade.

The Texans who run the 'place,' just pulled the "black-Hispanic-card" right out from the deck and chunked it into the shitter!

And you want to come for my commentary, Jeremy?

What's pathetic is White some conservatives can't stand a challenge so as is typical they go for stacking the deck! So now we have a "double" red-state!

White authoritarian power grab; right there in front of your face! No need to look away: Just look straight ahead!

Joe Biden pushed for this bill, negotiated part of the bill, and then, when the agreement was reached, promptly went and screwed the pooch on it by declaring it to be "in tandem" with a bill that hasn't even been fucking written yet and hasn't even been agreed to by Democrats, let alone Republicans.

Yeah, you would like to pigeon-hole this about January 6, protests which some "yahoos" try to lawyerly call a 'peace rally' when it was anything but. Additionally, you might even attempt to point out the scant people of color in the crowd as being "bi-racial" groupings. When we all know that having assenting faces in a population does not mean that race issues can not arise and be real.

Since you want to try it with me, give it your best shot. I say White privilege is in play. Y'all were given the "kid-glove" treatment when you entered the Capitol. Y'all were given the "kid' treatment when you pounded in the head of cops. Y'all were given the "kid" treatment when you milled around the front of the capitol. Y'all were given the "kid" treatment when republicans and conservatives reverted and quenched their outrage over what happened to their 'home.'

This would not then and not now be your position had BLM or any large gathering of people of color had invaded the sanctum of the Capitol. People of color, especially the 'points of the spear' - Black Americans have been killed on the streets of America for far less than entering a government building.

So miss me with you bull patty. White privilege was utilized then and is being used now in your silence against an outrage. And if you really do think race was a factor here - then that you think I am foolish enough to buy in to your patronizing ignorance is pathetic.

I suppose Joe could take a page out of Ronald's playbook:

On August 5, following the PATCO workers' refusal to return to work, the Reagan administration fired the 11,345 striking air traffic controllers who had ignored the order, and banned them from federal service for life. ... PATCO was decertified by the Federal Labor Relations Authority on October 22, 1981.

I was a little boy when the polio vaccine became available for every child. I can still remember my mother putting me and my brothers and sisters in line to get the shot. Us kids didnt even really know what polio was. But , even though there were some side effects to the vaccine for a small number of kids, parents all over the country were overjoyed that the government was offering this shot which would most likely remove the fear parents had of their children being crippled forever by polio. The vaccine was overwhelmingly accepted by the nations parents, and others.

That was in the 1950's, before internet, cellphones, facebook, parler, and all the other social media that has led our population astray today. It was before conspiracy theories too.

Now we have Q Anon, pizzagate, and insurrections at the nations capital. The ex president spread misinformation and fear about believing in medical authority, and since he has a cult following many fell in line. The mistrust and misinformation spilled over even into those who are not Trump cultists.

Too many people today just want to go on their merry way and not accept that America is in real trouble.

I grew up with a neighborhood kid suffering with polio. All his young life (eventually I moved away as a young adult), he was left crippled in his limbs. Vunerable in every way (I can't remember if he could speak properly or not). It is something I would not wish on my worst enemy to be trapped in a contorted, 'wasted' body. Yes, we took the polio shot and are alive today to talk about it working.

There is a limit to how far you can push Americans. The actions of Southwest Airlines' pilots show there will be backlash to Biden's vaccine mandates

The "lubbers" of freedom are at it again:

A journalist has revealed the bizarre response he received from known vaccine skeptic Tucker Carlson after he asked the Fox News host whether he had received the Covid vaccine.  Ben Smith from The New York Times revealed in his column that he texted Carlson: “Did you get vaccinated?”

And Carlson’s response is odd to say the least.

“When was the last time you had sex with your wife and in what position?” he replied. “We can trade intimate details.”

Well, what we do know is Fox News requires vaccinations for its employees or "regular" testings. I will assume an 'airhead' like Carlson won't like to have his "freedom" assaulted on a daily basis, so yes! Airhead Carlson is vaccinated twice and done!

So there you have it. It's all a big lie and 'Airhead' is helping to obstruct hearts and minds for his and "the Cause."

Tucker Gives Monologue for the Ages on Biden’s Divisive ‘Purge’ of Unvaccinated Americans from Society

Tucker Carlson on Monday night unleashed a monologue for the ages. The Fox News primetime host’s timely message is a political touchstone for much of what is wrong with Biden’s America.

The host broke down the Biden White House’s “purge” of the unvaccinated from society as an unprecedented vendetta in American history. It is not a noble agenda driven by a concern over public health, but rather an illogical and reckless drive for political power, he argued.

Tucker opened by referencing a speech Joe Biden gave outside of Chicago, Illinois that was attended by billionaire Governor J.B. Pritzker. In the speech, Biden made a number of unscientific claims in the course of demonizing millions of Americans that do not intend to get the Covid-19 shots.

“Joe Biden showed up at a construction site in Illinois last Thursday to explain what a terrific job he’s been doing,” he began. “Biden’s poll numbers, you may have noticed, have declined recently, not just by a little bit, but by such a dramatic margin that some prominent Democrats are openly worried about it. The midterms are in a year.”

“So the point of last week’s appearance outside Chicago was to remind all of us in the country that our perceptions of Biden’s performance are silly and baseless,” he said. “Actually, Joe Biden is a great president. He’s totally aware of what’s happening. He’s completely on top of things. He knows exactly what he’s doing and he’s got your well-being at heart. Not the narrow economic interests of some soulless multinational corporation that hates America and your family. No, you! Because Joe Biden is awesome.”

“And to prove it. Biden talked at length about the COVID vaccine,” Tucker said. “His greatest achievement, he said. Now, strangely, Biden didn’t say a lot about the vaccine itself. He did note that if you get the shot, you could not spread COVID to other people. And if there were doctors in the audience, they might have been confused because that is ridiculously and provably untrue. Of course, the vaccinated can spread COVID, and they do.”

“But Biden didn’t pause and dwell on the science such as it is,” he continued. “Instead, Biden spent virtually his entire speech attacking any American who hasn’t yet gotten the shot. Now you’ve heard him say that a lot, but it’s worth taking a closer look at what Joe Biden said last week outside Chicago. Go, look it up for yourself. It’s on the C-SPAN website.”

“As you watch it, ask yourself, ‘Has any president in our history ever talked about millions of American citizens like this?'” he asked rhetorically. “This is the way presidents talk about foreign enemies or dictators talk about enemies in their midst. It’s not the way American presidents talk or ever have ever, for any reason, under any circumstance. We can’t think of a single example, even during the Civil War.”…

And so FOX News directs its franchise players and "heavy hitters" who appear on stages and sets maskless to conform - and thus, Tucker (I won't say if I did or didn't get jabs) Carlson is highly likely VACCINATED because FOX NEWS insurance will be sued any guests who gets sick from being in this kind of scenario where 'it' can contaminate Tucker:

hey, you know that there could absolutely be no correlation between what Harris said and people reluctant to get vaccinated!

Think, Texan.   Who would Harris influence if the allegation that she refused to take the vaccine were true?   She would influence Democrats.   The super-majority of Ds are vaccinated :

A Gallup survey released on Sept. 29 confirmed the KFF findings. As of mid-September, 75% of adult Americans have been vaccinated, including 73% of non-Hispanic white adults and 78% of non-whites. Along party lines, however, the breakdown was 92% of Democrats, 68% of Independents, and 56% of Republicans.

Who, then, do you think would influence Rs to not take the vaccine?

You support the spinning of Harris' words into something she never stated while ignoring the repeated downplaying of the virus by Trump.   Certainly you have observed Trump both encourage the taking of the vaccine and give people excuses to not take the vaccine.   Clearly you can see that it is Rs who are predominantly not taking the vaccine.

When it comes to consistent messages on taking the vaccine, the Biden administration has consistently stated to take it.   That cannot be said of the Trump administration.

You live in a country with concentration camps and just threw@ journalist in jail for criticizing a movie and you think no one is bothered by that? Not every person who thinks for themselves was machine gunned and had their remains power-washed into the Sewers  at tiananeman square you know.

one of the tragedies  of totalitarian regimes like nazi germany, the Eastern European communist block and China is the captives, or citizens as you prefer, had to constantly lie to friends and family to avoid punishment.  Everyone just constantly lied to each other about how great things were and how happy they were because they never knew who they could trust. A careless word to the wrong person and they were on a list.

It's really amazing how much some people know ALL about China, its government and its people when they haven't spent one day in the country but are very talented at reiterating what they read or hear in the very media that they criticize for being biased and spreading misinformation and conspiracy theories.  Sure there are some things that people are unhappy about, but there are a lot of things that they are quite happy about, but that's not different from people all over the world.  My colleagues when I was teaching and my good friends and wife's relatives here would never have lied to me notwithstanding I'm a foreigner. Nothing ever stopped them from saying they would rather not say, and that would not get them into any trouble, but they didn't.  But I don't blame you for your comments because I believe they are just a sign of fear and jealousy.  As for your consistently bringing up history, from decades ago, I think that your nation has some things in its history that it's not proud of as well.

Tucker Carlson has become a lying sack of shit.   I no longer pay any attention to him.

For example:  this is what Biden actually said about the unvaccinated in the speech Carlson referenced :

The fact is, this has been a pandemic of the unvaccinated.  Unvaccinated.  The unvaccinated overcrowd our hospitals, overrunning emergency rooms and intensive care units.  The unvaccinated patients are — are leaving no room for someone with a heart attack or in need of a cancer operation and so much more because they can’t into the ICU.  They can’t get into the operating rooms.  The unvaccinated also put our economy at risk because people are reluctant to go out.  And think about this: Even in places where there is no restriction on going to restaurants and gyms and movie theaters, people are not going in anywhere near the numbers because they’re worried they’re going to get sick.

And this is what Carlson claims Biden stated:

Instead, Biden spent virtually his entire speech [ Lie, not even close ] attacking any American who hasn't yet gotten the shot.     Now you've heard him say that a lot, but it's worth taking a closer look at what Joe Biden said last week outside Chicago. Go, look it up for yourself. It's on the C-SPAN website.

...

[all exaggerations]

Biden noted this to the morbidly obese [ a gratuitous personal attack illustrating Carlson's tactic ]   governor of Illinois, J.B.

And as they lie, they're ventilated, dying, reaping the rewards of their own sin , these miscreants "leave no room for someone with a heart attack or in need of a cancer operation."

These people get no sympathy because they're barely people . The unvaccinated Biden told us. Die their much-deserved deaths, but even as they die, they burdened the rest of us. That's how horrible they are. They're subhuman they’re wreckers of a nation.

We're not overstating any of this [ oh no, not even a slight exaggeration by Carlson ] , by the way. Go watch Biden's speech, it's online. The question is: once you've identified a diseased fifth column like this within the country that you run, What do you do with them? Biden got to that toward the end of his speech.

Note what I highlighted in blue.   This, is what Carlson claims Biden stated.   A disgusting misrepresentation.   One would have to be a fool to believe Carlson.

You presume against reason that CB watches Carlson religiously.    If you are going to presume why not follow the most obvious path of logic and presume that CB cannot stand to watch Carlson more than sporadically?

Also one need not watch Carlson religiously to understand that he is a lying partisan sack of shit.   Hell, just look at my post @9 and you will see this in clear sight.   So imagine that CB has observed Carlson a dozen times or so and in each instance the same, basic, unabashed ugly exaggeration and lying takes place.   Is that not, in your mind, sufficient evidence to form an opinion?

Carlson knows better and supposedly so does Texan: How else could he fail to mention any shortcoming/s of a republican or conservative in any post while demanding that a democrat, liberal, progressive, and secularist get torn a 'new one' - now how's that "action" for obsessive conduct?

For the record, I don't need to watch Tucker Carlson's propaganda show "faithfully" to mete out judgement on his lack of professional journalistic effect. For that I can watch segments, channel pop-in and out, and play Youtube videos of interests on Fox's subscription channel.

Brian Selter, CNN's "Reliable Sources," points out in his book, "HOAX"  PUBLISHER: Simon & Schuster  RELEASED:  Aug 25, 2020 how journalists hold to a professional code of ethics which calls for minimizing harm (to viewers and readers) and yet in the early days and continuing of SARS Coronavirus-2 spread Fox News heavily pays its franchise anchors to maximize roadblocks and obfuscating points of view about non-related topics of liberty and freedom while their unknown numbers of their own listening audience drops like stuck down flies: effectively maximizing harm.

It is interesting to note how quickly the progressive left are to surrender liberty, freedom, and individual rights and then belittle them and the bill of rights and invent some cause in order to demand the rest of us do likewise.  We will not.  We will defend individual rights, economic freedom, religious liberty all to the extent that it will take brute government force and a dystopian regime in order to forcibly seize them from us as nothing short of that will lead us to give them up.

That's warrior class clownish. Coughing up a lung (or two) will end silliness. Hell, some of the long-term effects of Sars-Covid 2 will blunt the neurological senses. The more I read about this condition, the worse it reads. The ultimate state of liberty and freedom is NOT being in a 'pine' box six-feet under, or being a model of "ashes to ashes," or being "brain-drained" by a germ that successfully crosses the blood/brain barrier. I would not wish such on anybody, but suit yourselves.

Covid cases are declining in the south and in most of America.  These mandates are not needed. They are simply control tools.  Rights and freedom should not be given up any longer. Benjamin Franklin was right about what those who would trade freedom for security deserve.

Unremarkable. Covid cases are declining (from your perspective) through 'blunt force trauma' experience and let's be clear. Declining cases do not remark on the tragedy of lives loss due to negligent conduct by some conservatives. You decry your falling numbers and yet you support its challenge to depletion by laying aside science-as a shield-in the midst of a storm of arrows!

Some conservatives have instructed, directed, and behaved themselves foolishly during this pandemic.

You can take no credit for the good that has eeked itself out in-spite of some conservatives' category mistake of confusing disease production and destruction with freedoms and liberties.

Furthermore, you appear entirely inconsistent when you shout "freedom!" and "liberty" in the faces of business CEO's (like Fox News Inc.) and then rebuke the same folks as choosing to use 'pandemic control measures' to safeguard company workforces and workplaces.

Go to the back of the class!

Covid cases are declining in the south and in most of America.

As recent history has shown, spikes in cases occur and can occur if we become too complacent too soon.

These mandates are not needed.

Sure they are.

 They are simply control tools.

That is simply your partisan based opinion.

Rights and freedom should not be given up any longer.

Name ONE right or freedom you've given up!

Benjamin Franklin was right about what those who would trade freedom for security deserve.

With freedom also comes responsibility. Those who take freedom for granted (and ignore the bigger picture) don't deserve it!

Some conservatives have lost "top-level" influencers during this pandemic, because you all misjudged leading with thick-headed thinking shouting, "freedom!" and "liberty!" in the face of pandemic 'cannon--fire'! Throughout this pandemic, no one on this planet has operated with any freedoms or liberties that SARS-COVID-2 is obligated to respect.

You are shouting into a void and coming up empty. If weathering and suffering through the virus when it comes calling is your only answer to it. Then, your group, your towns, your spaces will continue to diminish to death and long-term SARS-COVID-2 after-effects!

'life is too short to be an ass.'

Cavuto has no authority to even consider mandating anything for anybody, including his own family. That's the "key." He is an influencer (at best) and not an (elected) leader. Big difference in "duties and responsibilities" and stewardship. Don't you think?

(Took you an awful long time to make that "come-back"!)
