Another Floral Extravaganza - Even More Than Before

After having enjoyed our walk to see the blossoms in our area the day before, yesterday morning we strolled through the beautiful naturally wooded and landscaped campus of the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute across the road from where we live, and we were not alone.  Hundreds, perhaps even thousands come from near and far, by foot and car and bus and elevated to see and enjoy the annual glory of Spring there.  The predominant colour in the many fields is a sea of yellow, and whenever I see a yellow flower, I think of Donovan's song from the 60s:

Yellow Is The Colour of My True Love's Hair

Yellow is the color of my true love's hair
In the mornin', when we rise
In the mornin', when we rise
That's the time, that's the time
I love the best

Am I being too flowery?

No, but you may be a budding horticulturist!

I keep forgetting the punchline to that old joke-- anyone remember it?

You can lead a whore to culture but _______????

You can lead a horticulture but you can't make her think.

It's a takeoff from: You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink.

I don't know why, but I only show a big blank space under your line "Blossoms are perfect".   What did you post?

It was the ending of the last Samurai battle, when the "Pink Blossoms" were blowing in the wind. A dramatic effect to beauty and life.

Are you talking about the movie "The Last Samurai" that starred Tom Cruise?

Yes ! It's the scene after the "Last battle" where Katsumoto looks up to see the "Blossoms" blowing in the wind and says ….. "Perfect".... "They are all PERFECT" ! !

Tom Cruise might get panned a lot, but I enjoyed that movie.

Beautiful Mac. A perfect spring photo.

I think you have inspired me to find some yellow geraniums this year for my pots.

Your post made me remember back to when I was a little kid that geraniums were the first flower I knew about, and even grew.  Nice addition to my "extravaganza".  LOL
