The photo with the globes is really a great piece of artwork, Mac. Not sure what the blue orb is, but, mixed with the Epcot Center globe is presents a really awesome combination.

The orb/flair I added to create a spiritual, cosmic feeling.

Another variation on a theme I've photographed for years … and I like this one over previous (now deleted) versions.

I was referring to a previous version of the one just above; either way, both posted here are new versions of same subjects photographed numerous times.

Oh...I guess my confusion is that I don't recall seeing a previous version.

However, it is indeed interesting to revisit prior versions of photos and work them if different colors, combinations, angles and come up with interesting r-invented versions of the same thing. I have done that with the same primary subject, but, use different backgrounds, colors, framing, and angles that result in totally different looking artwork.

I really like what you do with your photos and treatments. Each one is a very interesting piece of art.

Got a couple of topics today, a series of four from archives and a couple taken within the last couple of weeks of my little friends in the yard.

Still and video Hummies.

256

Next, in keeping with this week's basic theme of vacation spots is a series of four shots that I took in 1981 at Soo Locks (ship locks in Upper Michigan alongside the St. Marie's River between Lake Superior and Lake Huron).  These four shots were taken with a Kodak Instamatic within a period of 30 minutes and were scanned into my computer in 2010.

1.  Shot taken across the series of empty locks.

256

2.  Ship entering the lock from the (upstream) Lake Superior side.

256

3.  Ship after being lowered by the lock to the (downstream) Lake Michigan level.

256

4.  Ship proceeding out of the lock into Lake Michigan.

256

This vessel was an iron ore freighter and most likely came from Duluth, MN., where EG lives, since, by 1981, the Northern Michigan iron mines had been closed.

Great photo Mac. I like the sun's reflection on the Epcot orb. Sort of a touch of surrealism.

Thank you Mac. I truly appreciate your kind words and support. With each creation my minds eye and the message the image conveys to me guides me in how I create them.

For me it is a matter of creating a story, and experience, and much like your own wonderful artwork, a sense of "being there".

I am just very happy that others appreciate them. And perhaps learn something about Native American way of life.

Thank you for the opportunity to share them with my NT family here in this group. (smile)

Beautiful sunset, Kavika. One of my Friends and I had dinner at a restaurant on the beach in Ft Myers FL one Summer. We watched the sun go down and what a sight it was. Really awesome.

Great idea for this article Mac.

As usual, I am late to the party, but fantastic photos all around. Of course Epcot is my favorite of Disney World.

(P.S. good to see more China Buzz).

Muva, you have some good looking kids.

Raven wing, beautiful art as usual. Always something new and unexpected.

Kavika, you are looking good there. The beach looks good on you. Careful, you might become a Taino.

Okay, water and sun. I have some from 2014 and 2015 with, of course, my favourite subject.

The summer after Maidan and getting Julia back to her hometown, she took some time for herself to rediscover her center. Part of it involved a job at the beach after her birthday in July of 2014.

She is an explorer of life.

So, she got this job as a day care worker watching children watching children while parents went to have fun on the beach.

It was a grueling job. She worked 10 - 11 hours a day 7 days a week. Got 1 day off from mid July until mid September. But she was at the beach and she loved that and loves children...and now appreciates what it takes to care for them.

She actually became very fatigued at the end. I was concerned she developed something like CFS. Took her more than a month to regain her energy level. The Rx prescribed by the Docs? Heavy dose of fresh fruits for her meals.  Whatever, she got better.

Here is how she spent her day off at a nice hotel at Zaliznyy Port (Iron Port).

She has black sunglasses because it matches her black hairs, yes with an s and don't you forget that, lol.

A year later in September of 2015 after deciding to go back in to graphics design (she has advanced degrees in economics and the sciences but she loves designing), she met a new friend "Tat", Tatjana (Tatiana) in Nova Kakhovka. A small city, maybe much like Silver Spring, Maryland in the 80s or 70s, except it is on the river.

Here is a glimpse:

So Tat invited Julia to her birthday on a nearby lake. Let me tell you, they love their bbq over there and many call it barbecue just like we do.

Here is some water, sunset and boating all in one. Note you will see some auburn in her hair. She like to experiment. Her natural color is the best.

Thank you Raven Wing.

Actually all the face photos belong to Julia. I did a poor job of differentiating.

Though Tat is dark hair too.

However, Tat's legs are visible in the photo in the upper right corner of the 4 photo group.
