Well, folks, you may be seeing more of me here from now on. I can see that much has changed: Perrie, you have been very, very busy! I'll need to learn my way around here again! Anyway, I posted on Facebook last night that I won't be on that site again for a year, and I meant what I said. I told my friends there where I may be found, including this site, if they wanted to stay in touch. I am also on Steemit and Minds, but have MUCH to learn about those sites, although I've been on Minds for at least a year and Steemit for about 2 weeks. As for Facebook, I simply do not trust it any longer. I'm giving it a year either to come to its senses or disappear, and am giving both options about a 50/50 chance of happening. If it is still there a year from now, I'll check it out and, depending on what I find, I'll give it another year or close my account there. I don't play games; I don't tolerate intolerance; and I don't appreciate being forced into a corner (which is what Facebook seems to be doing to its inhabitants). So: here I is. And now I need to explore a bit and see what's been happening here!

I have to apologize for being MIA most of the time. Believe it or not, I'm just very busy and really have little to blog about, usually. But, this time, I actually have news. Some 26 years ago I lost touch with my sister. It wasn't deliberate, but she'd moved, and I moved, and I lost her address. So, for the last 20+ years I have conducted an online search. Finally, about 3 weeks ago, I hit the jackpot and we re-connected, via email, anyway. The strangest thing was that my niece (who married at about the time of my move, leaving me her married name which got lost in my move, and which I couldn't remember, other than that it was German-sounding), was on my Facebook Friend list for about the past 2 years! So, she and I also reconnected. Now, a great deal of my time is taken up with emailing my sister (who lives in Washington State on the ocean - can't get farther west than that). To say that I am beyond thrilled is an understatement!!!
