Short on Ammo

800

You may have heard on the news about a Southern California man who was put under a 72-hour psychiatric observation when it was found he owned 100 guns and allegedly had 100,000 rounds of ammunition stored in his home.

The house also featured a secret escape tunnel.

By Southern California standards, someone owning 100,000 rounds is considered "mentally unstable”.

BUT...

In Michigan, he'd be called "the last white guy still living in Detroit."

In Arizona, he'd be called "an avid gun collector.

In Arkansas, he'd be called "a novice gun collector."

In Utah, he'd be called "moderately well prepared," but they'd probably reserve judgment until they made sure that he had a corresponding quantity of stored food.

In Kansas, he'd be "A guy down the road you would want to have for a friend."

In Montana, he'd be called "The neighborhood 'Go-To' guy."

In Idaho, he'd be called "a likely gubernatorial candidate."

In Georgia, he'd be called "an eligible bachelor"

In North Carolina, Virginia, WV, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina and Minnesota he would be called "a deer hunting buddy."

AND, OF COURSE,  In Texas, he'd just be "a guy who's a little short on Ammo."

.

And they walk among us....

.

I don't vouch for the truth of this article.

Thankfully having maniacs like that around is not something I have to be concerned about here, but I worry about my son and his family who live in Milwaukee.  Just like me, my son would NEVER own a gun.  However I know there are some gun-lovers on this NT site who would probably call that guy a good old boy, and probably envy him.

...and he'd be one of the few lucky ones, especially since it's the only way some of those pistol dicks can hit anything. I don't know why the nut in this picture needs so many guns, he probably has no friends and his family certainly never visits anymore. it's the gun nuts that don't showboat their gun collections that we need to worry about. talk about putting a "when the shit hits the fan, kill me first" target on your back. I wonder if that guy has another inventory in his vehicle.

Priorities totally fucked up.

A gun collection, like all hobbies, should be after the bills are paid and  important things taken care of.  Guns can be a good investment but you have to be willing to sell if need be.

I guess the guy Dulay mentioned will need a very big coffin for him and all his guns and optics that he will be buried with, clutched in his cold dead hands.  I suppose guns could be collectibles.  I collected coins and my son collected baseball cards.

So they put someone under psychiatric observation that had broken no laws and harmed no one. But release far left rioters that assault people, commit arson, and looting w/o charges. Shows how fucked up the leftist coast really is. Of course Democrats desperately want to turn the US into China so it is no surprise.

LOL. Yes, turn the US into China - then God forbid nobody would have guns to play with and kill other people with.  17-year-olds wouldn't be able to illegally bring a rifle into a crowd and kill and maim people and get away with it because he cries so nicely.

Is this what you talking about:

" So they put someone under psychiatric observation that had broken no laws and harmed no one. "

Yeah, this FUCK needs to be under a psychiatric observation. I mean - LOOK AT HIM!

The only thing wrong is the guns would get dusty and the dust would stick to the oiled parts and you'd have to clean them all the time whether you used them or not. What a pain ! Get some damn cases or better yet build a huge gun safe. I wonder if his coffee table is a crate of ammo.

Watch the news. The vast majority of far leftist rioters in the Democratic bastions of stupidity have been released w/o charges- so they can go out and do it again.

As for the guy in the picture. He is doing nothing wrong. This is his man cave. Not my cup of tea; but to each their own. Willing to bet he has sales receipts and is licensed for every last gun he owns.

This is not the guy that needs to be under observation. He is a known quantity; they know exactly where he lives. Want scary walk into the wrong section of Detroit, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles or any other bastion of leftist stupidity. You will find out who you should be afraid of very quickly.

A cannon indoors does what good again?

What do you think he was going to do, blow up his own gun collection?

Heston's room is a museum of weaponry. Willing to bet the majority of it never saw light of day after he bought it.

My only question is, How does your average Joe afford that much armament?  At $600 to over $1500+ and ammo you're talking some serious money.

I used to manage a gun range here in so cal.  I can tell you from experience that there are way more here that own that many, if not more.  Read up on Jeff Lash.  What he owned would make the subject of the seed look like an amateur collector.
