In order to heal the damage from Israel's rebellion against His instructions, God established a way for people's sins to be covered through a system of sacrifices in the laws of the covenant. These laws described in the Book of Leviticus serve a three-fold purpose: forgive acts of sin and spare people's lives, show the world that Israel was God's holy ambassador to the earth, and define standards of right and wrong that will fortify immense value to Christ's sacrifice for humanity.

Since God's nature is absolutely good, no evil can ever be present near him - including humans tainted with the sin of Adam's fall. Unfortunately, some individuals learn this the hard way as the Israelites adjust themselves to correctly performing these laws. Still, God blesses them in His continual mercy as Abraham's descendants of The Blessing.

God's nature is absolutely good, no evil can ever be present near him. It is impossible for God to be an immoral being.

Thank you, friend Enoch. We have need of many to build up the House. It is well underway; Will the people enter it? Or will it wallow in the street? We look into the well and wonder at its deepness.

Any thoughts to guide us along our way?

Dear Brother CB: Great question.

Let each, according to what so moves them find within themselves those qualities which when harnessed bring us together when we can to work for a better future by repairing the present one good deed at a time.

Whoever we are, it is within us as humans to be able to do that.

As well, to want to achieve that end for our families, and the generations to come.

One clue is positivity.

See Mishley, (Proverbs 16:24). "Encouraging words are as honey. Sweet to the soul and health to the being".

Good work Brother.

Good work indeed.

We are indebted to you for all you do on this site.

Enoch.

I understand the meaning in your words. This video is a beautiful illumination of some key aspects of Leviticus, in my opinion. Does this video serve itself well, in your opinion? Or can you enlighten me farther with a Jewish perspective on Leviticus. It's all good!

Your presence in this group for whatever duration is a joy to me-for you are possessor of a peaceful intellect.
