The UN has said that the Vatican should "immediately remove" all child abusers

The UN has said that the Vatican should "immediately remove" all clergy who are known or suspected child abusers.

The UN watchdog for children's rights denounced the Holy See for adopting policies which allowed priests to sexually abuse thousands of children.

In a report, it also criticised Vatican attitudes towards homosexuality, contraception and abortion.

It said it was gravely concerned that the Holy See had not acknowledged the extent of the crimes committed, and expressed its "deepest concern about child sexual abuse committed by members of the Catholic churches who operate under the authority of the Holy See, with clerics having been involved in the sexual abuse of tens of thousands of children worldwide".

It also lambasted the "practice of offenders' mobility", referring to the transfer of child abusers from parish to parish within countries, and sometimes abroad.

The committee said this practice placed "children in many countries at high risk of sexual abuse, as dozens of child sexual offenders are reported to be still in contact with children".... Link

As long as the "practice of offenders' mobility" is allowed to continue unchecked the Catholic Church will use it for the cleric's escape.

The local pedophile priest here just up an vanished into thin air. No one knows where he is and he hasn't been caught yet. Maybe this Pope will change that. We will have to wait and see.

The new Pope was quite a rebel back in the day :
A Harley-Davidson motorcycle owned by Pope Francis is being sold at auction.

Child molestation and Poison gas have nothing to do with each other. Poison gas kills or harms all it comes in contact with. The Priest used his penis on an infant a child not an errant shot to destroy the child's innocence. Why don't they cut off their Penis and testicles then cauterize with a hot Iron the way they did cattle for years. Nope firing squad! I'll gladly be on that firing squad and supply my own weapon and ammunition.

How can you possibly compare the two. One is a personal direct penetration or sick sex act against a unprotected child. War is war Sexual perverts should die. The death penalty is to good for them. If it was your child I suppose you would be tolerant and protective of the perpetrator like the Catholic church has been for decades. Sad comparison sick thought process.
