A Self-Collaboration by Buzz

FYI: For this Forum's purposes,

• When one member contributes both the IMAGE and the TEXT, that will be posted as a "SELF-COLLABORATION" •

• Whenever required, A. Mac will do the layout and choice of type face (font) for any given collaboration (and hope to hell he does a decent job of it!) … so no member should hesitate with regard to participating.

Holy smoke - I didn't expect you would open a forum discussion with that. I'll do some more because I've taken so many photos that beg for captions, and will post them here.

This is my humble contribution.  My words and a picture of one of my sons when he was younger.  I don't have the skill set to put the two together.

This is what you are to me

This is what my love can see

Laughter, smiles and endless dreams

I’m caught within your soul’s moonbeams

And with the light you spread around

My heart bursts forth no longer bound

This is what you are to me

This is what my love’s eyes can see

Wow Buzz, that's fantastic! Such an uplifting meme!!

PJ,

What a beautiful poem and a very fitting photo to go along with it. As a parent, I remember those times and my heart aches for them.

PLEASE NOTE:

• All those posting submissions (IMAGES AND/OR WRITTEN PIECES) for collaboration will have individual folders on my computer; these will include such images, poetry, etc. and finished collaborations.

• This may initially slow down the posting of finished collaborations, but will ultimately expedite the process.

• I will attempt to post as many finished collaborations as stand alone articles/discussions  … which will give our forum A MORE EQUITABLE VISIBILITY ON THE FP!

So far so good ... nice activity and front page time.
