Stevie Ray Vaughan - Pride and Joy (Studio version)

Why in this particular forum you ask?

...'cause this is my temple, and my place of peace. Sitting as I am now by the campfire in all of nature, listening to SRV, I am in in the presence of sacredness.

:~)

Love SRV...So many great songs..

There is a video on you tube named ''A Tribute to SRV''....it's around an hour long, but with some of the greatest guitar players in the world. Eric Clapton, Bonnie Rait, the late great B.B. King, Robert Cray, Buddy Guy.

Well worth the time to watch and listen.

Texas Rain is one of  my favorites by SRV.

I love Albert King so I love the Albert-Stevie stuff the best.

Never got to see him live but, to this day, I still have 3 or 4 of his CD's around the cabin somewhere.  Even have songs from "The Essential Stevie Ray Vaughan" and "Double Trouble" on my computer's player.

Weirdly enough, I ended up seeing more of him after his untimely demise.

Turns out two of my grandparents and my father are all buried at Laurel Land, in Dallas, just a short walk from where Stevie Ray was laid to rest.

Small world.
