Missouri Senate prepares the Ban Hammer for Senator Chappelle-Nadal

Senate-Seal-with-Quote

“We hope Sen. Chappelle-Nadal realizes the seriousness of her statements, takes responsibility for her words, and resigns on her own accord. However, we are preparing for options afforded in the Missouri Constitution and the Senate Rules if she continues to defy the public outcry and not resign.”

Senate Leader Ron Richard, R-Joplin
District 32

“We have heard the calls from the Governor and the Lt. Governor, and remain firmly convinced she should resign on her own. Failing to do so, we do have options to ensure the integrity of the Senate. The process of expulsion is a significant, rarely used step that should not be taken lightly. We are researching the detailed steps involved in the expulsion process and will be prepared to move forward as necessary.”

Majority Floor Leader Mike Kehoe, R-Jefferson City
District 6

For those who may not know, this is the dumb bitch state senator that has historically introduced the most outrageous and utterly asinine gun control legislation (none of which have ever been given serious consideration in committee), but was caught with a concealed handgun at a Ferguson protest, even though she didn't posses a concealed carry permit.

She will be gone from the MO legislature.  She isn't getting any support from the dem caucus.  Reps control both houses and the governorship.  The expulsion vote could be unanimous.

My guess would be that no one knows what this seed is referring to.

We all know that she made a death wish against the President of the United States, wishing that he would be assassinated.  If there is a way to expel her from that state senate within their constitution, they should do it.

Rep. William Lacy Clay , D-Mo., said that, "(C)alling for the assassination of the President is a federal crime. ... (She is) an embarrassment to our state," according to the Post-Dispatch.

If causing embarrassment was a criteria, DT would have had to resign 6 1/2 months ago.

And Obama would have had to also after his apology tour and bowing to foreign kings.

I am no fan of Lacy Clay but to his credit he has done something I doubt you will.  Condemn her crass remark.

Maybe not - the story has been under reported. Here is precisely where the violent rhetoric is. The kind of rhetoric which leads to the shooting of a Republican congressman and the assassination of police officers. Note: the same media which tries so hard to link Trump to extremism is ominously absent on this real case of violent rhetoric
