Black Activists Defy Dems, Support Trump After Seeing His Success in Black Communities

Democrats and their allies in the media have done their best over the past two years to convince minorities — particularly black Americans — that Donald Trump is a hateful and bigoted racist who sympathizes with white supremacists and seeks to marginalize and oppress minorities.

Of course, that isn’t true at all, and there is at least one group of black civil rights activists that has assessed what Trump has done thus far in office and issued their approval.

According to The National Center for Public Policy Research, the conservative-leaning Project 21 black leadership group — which promotes entrepreneurship and individual responsibility, as well as a commitment to family — are pleased at the “common sense” economic policies they have seen put forth by Trump, particularly the effect those policies have already had on the black unemployment rate.

“Commonsense measures to reduce regulation are a major step in improving American economic conditions,” former Congressional leadership aide and Project 21 co-chair Horace Cooper said. “Once Congress steps up to reduce taxes and repeal Obamacare, the markets and the economy will skyrocket — taking such good fortunes to black America and the rest of the nation.”

The Associated Press reported that Labor Department statistics show the black unemployment rate for the month of September was 7.0 percent — a 17-year low — down from 7.7 percent in August and down from 8.3 percent in September 2016.

“With the black unemployment rate falling to its lowest point since April 2000, and considering the persistently high levels of double-digit employment that existed during most of the previous administration, this news should really be garnering more attention,” group member Dr. Derryck Green stated.

“This should be a source of economic optimism because the job market is expanding and improving overall — particularly among American blacks who were hit hard during the sluggish, so-called economic ‘recovery’ touted by our previous president,” Green continued. “It bears remembering that the black unemployment rate at that point had skyrocketed. It was at or near 15 percent on nine occasions, and near or above 16 percent 24 other times.

“While still too high for my liking at seven percent, the black unemployment rate has significantly improved since the days of double digits,” added Green. “Though there’s still work to do to increase employment opportunities among American blacks, this is indeed cause for celebration.”

Another good number put forward by the Bureau of Labor Statistics that has gone largely unreported by the mainstream media is that the unemployment rate for black teenagers dropped sharply from 28.1 percent in Sept. 2016 to 23.0 percent one year later.

“With the holiday season upon us, news that thCe unemployment rate for blacks has reached a 17-year low — even as the economy shed 33,000 jobs due to the hurricanes — should be trumpeted in the media,” declared syndicated radio host and Project 21 co-chair Stacy Washington. “Good economic policy that prioritizes Americans over foreign workers, fewer illegal border crossings and an overall positive business outlook has had a positive impact on hiring.”

“Among the first casualties of poor economic decisions are the middle class and minority groups,” explained political consultant and group member Rich Holt. “It’s my hope that a reasonable tax policy and pro-business economic decisions from the Trump Administration will help this rebound happen even more quickly.”

This is incredible news, both for the black American community and the nation as a whole.

Hopefully, President Trump will continue to press forward with his America First, pro-business regulatory and tax policies that are intended to foster economic growth. It will be even better if he can get an assist from Congress in transforming those proposed policies into law.    https://conservativetribune.com/black-defy-dems-support-trump/

There were Jewish Nazis who helped round up Jews to send them to consentration camps. So, no surprise there are a handful of opportunistic black folks out there who support trump. 0.001 percent does not make a difference in the big scheme of things. There are more whites who vote against their own interests percentage wise though...

It’s just ridiculous that the secular progressive left makes Nazi references when ever they encounter members of a minority community being conservative.  Godwin’s law invoked here as there is no reasonable comparison between being associated with a Nazi and with a Republican.

I'm always glad to hear there are those who can think for themselves. May they prove LBJ wrong, once & for all!

It was 'incredible news' when 'the black American' unemployment rate was cut in half from 2010 to 2016 too. I bet they never mentioned it...
