Scarecrow mooning. hehehe
I call this "Ghost Pen" It's a bit blurry-- first time posting a photo-- but it gives it the "ghosty look".
Giving it some thought. Need something appropriate.
BOO !
Happy Halloween.
Halloween kisses to all!
Running late so posting this as a comment instead of changing my avatar...
Not the scariest but maybe the cutest so far..
I already have the scariest avatar I can think of.
Happy Halloween!
Can't go wrong with a witch.. A GOOD witch, of course. Maybe a bad witch...no, never mind.
Witch which?
EXACTLY!! You have it all figured out!
You can donate my prize money to the any one of the charities that Donald Trump failed to fulfill his commitments to. Happy Halloween.
"Cereal" Killer
Very witty costume.
One year I showed up to a work party with a whistle around my neck. When I was asked what I was, I replied "A Whistle blower". It's much more funny if you knew where I worked.
Cereal Killer
LOL love it.
Happy Halloween to everyone!
I...love Halloween... One of my favs, but since I live out in the sticks...I get very few "treaters". I think it's the time of year that entices me. The colder weather, the fog, the short days, etc.... But.... I did venture into town today, (something I do not do often), just to pick up some basic provisions, (bread, milk, butter, etc..). One of the gals was stocking the produce section dressed, frankly, in a skimpy witch outfit(for Halloween)...she was stocking the cantelope section....and I couldn't stop myself... "Hey, nice melons!!!". Well, she laughed and gave me a hug... Good times, great holiday! Enjoy everyone. Be safe, have some fun!
Tried to change my avatar but it didn't work.
Oh there, now it did, lol
I'm thinking of going with this.
Thank-you NT for ruining my Halloween by disallowing my joke that I told every Halloween without ever getting in trouble for it at NV where we had more freedom of speech. My joke pokes fun at a certain political group, but it doesn't attack anyone personally, and it's just a joke anyway. I'd tell it but it's against the law here! Going to the bar to watch game 6, later...
On the subject of Hallowe'en costumes, this actually WAS my avatar for quite a while. It is traditional Chinese wedding dress.
I remember when that was your avatar, Amazing outfits!
(What, if anything, do those things coming out of the head on the male costume symbolize?)
I'm not sure. Maybe it's to give wings to flights of fancy.
Very impressive, Buzz.
Here is a photo of Halloween costumes made for children in the early 1900's
Really cool find!
Me halloween 'mirror.' Me-me-ween!
Everyone loves The Muppets!
Hilarious Muppets Bloopers!!!
LOL!
LOL

The next u tube video I had seen before WOW talented little girl !
In drumming .. timing is everything !!! She's got it down !
She's pretty amazing (there are several other videos of her on YouTube).
Wiki Warrior Wonder Wiener is ready for ''trick or treat''..No one would ever suspect it's her in this costume.
Too cute!!!
Well, which end should I start at first? Yums!
I got no choice: That song-a-long feeling. . . .

Ghost in the Forest

I actually like that! Wonderful addition! It's very curious.
Very errr cool, Mac.
OMG-- that looks like a real ghost!
"Ethereal" is the word that comes to mind when I look at this.
Now we can present, "EEVVIIDDEENNCCEE!! HA!
Much appreciated comments regarding my "ghost".
I started doing these kind of fantasy images for my grandson who loves things like Disney World's Haunted Mansion.
If you like these, I'll do others and post them from time-to-time.
STELLAR! I Like it and would enjoy the thought and sights of it! What's exciting is that I am seeing more each time I glance over at it. I started out with a face and now I can see a gown and can it be. . .a beard? Shimmers!!!
There is in fact, a face, a beard, a heavy overcoat and more … I would rather you keep looking for more than possibly spoiling the fun of looking and finding what is there …
… and what the image itself might make your imagination add … that's the aspect that "haunts" the viewer.
Thanks for great feedback!
So here I am working the picture 'over' and then a hand moved on the left-side! WHAT??
REALLY LATE to the party … but, one more …

Never late. This is such a cool page and that is one cool 'print.' I think you are on to something, big.
Come on, A.Mac. The first one really appears to be natural, but the this one is definitely a layered combo.
It's obviously layered ... it's surreal by intent ... meant to be frightening conceptually, not literally.
Buzz, I see your point to a fault. I am thinking this one hanging on a wall could be a great draw for the eyes ("spooky" during the night), and a day-time conversation piece, nevertheless. "A Mac," if I may call you that, perhaps if you distort the full-frontal outline or give more of a side profile of the "stranger" it could enhance the mysterious nature of this interesting photo and character met on the 'trail.' (-:
Will work on variations of the theme.
Much appreciated on the input.
Sir, you are definitely onto something!
Much appreciated as is all feedback, positive or negative as it is often difficult to be objective about my own stuff.
Thank you!
Well, I like it. I wish you really good experiences with your artwork!
Very cool Mac and very scary.
One more "scary" image … this one something of an "editorial" in the form of a rhetorical question.
© A. Mac/A.G.
A "child" superimposed upon the tree trunk?
Not "a child," rather the ethereal remembrance of a "missing child," one that was never found but often thought of in a sad and mysterious nightmare.
It's conceptual not corporeal and literal.
Think about Tevya's nightmare in the film Fiddler on the Roof.
Though this is about missing children coupled with a sense you want to be sensitive (even loving) about the theme, I need more of the "certainty" of loss in the woods. Translation: More chaos (outrage?) in the "scene." Just sharing food for thought. (-:
More "outrage" would set tongues to wagging at the waste of youthful innocence. It may make you the Stephen King of prints and NT, but what's in a name? HA!
Understood; but this image is about the despair of both a loss and the uncertainty that comes with no closure.
Note the cleric who will advocate prayer to the lamenting families, but, who, in his austere configuration, offers nothing else but a prayer ... but not a hope and a prayer.
Ah! So now I understand that "elder" in a robe better. It was a mystery in the shot to me before. Very nice narrative.
