The Deep State - Part 2

Part 2: Obama's Department of Justice

eric+holder+147370086.jpg

The first thing to happen when Barak Obama became President in 2009 was the politicization of the DOJ. Bush era holdovers and even career civil servants were immediately removed, Justice Department Policy was turned on a dime and the Departments Civil Rights Division became a radical activist organization with the full weight of the federal government to serve it's every whim. Huge litigation settlements were used to fuel left-wing activist groups, peaceful pro-life protesters faced federal lawsuits, which were eventually thrown out by Federal Judges, and states were routinely harassed for having election integrity laws - all abuses of Obama's infamous "Civil Rights Division". Radical Tony Perez was in charge of the division in 2009 later Obama replaced him with  Vanita Gupta in a way that violated feral law. Many of the Obama holdovers are still embedded within the Division while a Senate-confirmed nominee for assistant attorney general has yet to be installed, 13 months into the administration! There are four deputy assistant attorney general positions at the Civil Rights Division, and all are occupied by committed Obama holdovers!

A sampling of the ideologues who serve an ideology:

Sally Yates - Obama loyalist and acting AG in the chaotic days when newly elected Donald Trump had yet to get Jeff Sessions Senate approval and didn't even have his own deputy AG, thus she was asked to stay on. Yates will be remembered for two things. One has to do with the case of Michael Flynn, who was interviewed by the FBI 4 days into the job as National Security Adviser. James Comey testified that the FBI agents who interviewed Flynn that day felt he had been truthful. Yet Ms Yates felt he had been in violation of the "Logan act" somehow for talking to the Russians about Obama's recent sanctions. She "warned" the White House that Flynn could be "blackmailed". Obviously, she thought that and discussion of ending the Obama sanctions was treasonous. How dare they! Almost a year later Flynn pled guilty to perjury. Yates probably was behind it. We learn more every day. The other thing she is noted for is refusing to defend President Trump's 100% legal executive order known as the "travel Ban". It seems that Yates and a few activists judges didn't think the President had that right - The SCOTUS had to educate them.

Fired January 30, 2017

Bruce Ohr - an associate AG, had contacts (including via his wife) with the controversial Fusion GPS firm that hired the former British spy who developed the infamous “Trump dossier” on Russia. Even after Christopher Steele was fired as an FBI "source", he maintained contact with Ohr who was working closely with Deputy Attorneys General Sally Yates and Rob Rosenstein. In September 2016, Steele admitted to Ohr his feelings against then-candidate Trump when Steele said he ‘was desperate that Donald Trump not get elected and was passionate about him not being president . He also met after the election with Glenn Simpson, whose Fusion GPS hired Mr. Steele with Democratic Party money.

Demoted & still working at the DOJ

Nellie Ohr - Wife of Bruce Ohr and employee of the infamous Fusion GPS. Glenn Simpson, co-founder of the opposition research firm Fusion GPS acknowledged in a court document that his company hired the wife of a senior Justice Department official to help investigate then-candidate Donald Trump.

Loretta Lynch - Appointed by Barak Obama in 2015 to succeed the disgraced Eric Holder. This was the AG who presided over the false FBI investigation of Hillary Clinton - the one that never had a grad jury, gave out immunity like candy, allowed the Clinton team to use the same attorney and decided the case long before it was over. On June 27, 2016, Lynch and former President Bill Clinton met privately on Lynch's Jet which was parked on the tarmac in Phoenix, Arizona. Unfortunately they got caught (reporter Chris Sign broke the story), Lynch tried to explain that Clinton walked onto her Jet to say hello and discuss grandchildren.
On June 8, 2017, former head of the FBI James Comey testified under oath that Loretta Lynch had instructed him to not refer to the Clinton email scandal as an "investigation" and instead refer to it as a "matter". He also said that the directive, combined with Lynch's unusual Arizona tarmac meeting with former President Bill Clinton, led him to make his independent (AND ILLEGAL) announcement/decision regarding the Clinton email probe.

Left office unscathed January 20, 2017

Eric Holder - Black Supremacist, radical ideologue and Barak Obama's first AG. Holder once described himself as Obama's wingman. We knew what we were dealing with right away when we heard Holder tell Congress that whites could never be defended as victims of a hate crime. In April 2013, Holder vowed to continue to enforce federal voting rights laws within the scope of his power, regardless of how the United States Supreme Court decided in the pending case regarding voting rights. He seized phone records of AP reporters and had spied on Fox News reporter James Rosen. He sued border states for trying to enforce immigration law, which his boss Barak Obama refused to do. Holder was most famous for the consent decrees he subjected local police departments to whenever there was a racial incident (either real or imagined). His attitude during the New Black Panther Party's intimidation of voters in Philadelphia led Former lawyers who had served under the Bush Administration to conclude that the current DOJ under Holder is unwilling to prosecute minorities for civil rights violations.

On June 20, 2012 Eric Holder became the first & only AG to be held in contempt of Congress.
Replaced by Loretta Lynch April 27, 2015

Alberto Ruisanchez and Rebecca Bond - Obama holdovers, currently running the leaderless "Civil Rights Division"

Robert Moosey and Greg Friel   - Obama holdovers, who were sneakily slotted by the Obama administration into permanent deputy assistant attorney general roles that are normally reserved for political appointees.

Preet Bharara - Obama holdover who refused to resign at AG Sessions request and thus had to be fired by the President.
No, they don't want to give up on transforming America. They are tenacious.

Tony Perez - the aforementioned head of the "Civil Rights Division" is now Chairman of the DNC

Obama created a climate in which the potentially criminal misuse of the DOJ and the FBI led to abuses and now could be the biggest scandal in American history.

Nine years after his two terms began and over a full year after Trump succeeded him exactly zero nada zip no ranking Obama campaign or administration officials have ever ever ever been indicted for malfeasance in office. Not one. Even olde Jeff Sessions try as he may cannot find one indictable offense. Trump and Co already have indictments and they are just going to keep on coming. Obama and his administration have already been investigated to death by successive gop congresses and the gop has never come up with one damn thing. So go on telling yourself lies...

"Obviously, she thought that and discussion of ending the Obama sanctions was treasonous."

Nice try but the facts are known here, your attempt at obfuscation are transparent. Mike Flynn did violate the Logan act and when asked about his conversation with the Russian Ambassador while Obama was still President, weeks before Trump was sworn in, Flynn had every opportunity to tell the truth. Instead, he chose to lie to investigators. Unless Sally Yates is some sort of Jedi who used Jedi mind tricks on Flynn to get him to lie, she simply did her job as I would hope anyone in her position would do. Sadly, with the Trump administration, we can no longer count on that kind of true patriotism, now it's just cronyism and loyalty pledges to de Fuhrer. A real American would ask themselves "Why did Mike Flynn lie?" instead of trying to find fault with those he lied to.

"Steele said he ‘was desperate that Donald Trump not get elected and was passionate about him not being president."

One might ask why he felt that way instead of simply dismissing him as partisan. I mean, he's not even an American so why does he even care? The answer is that he had investigated the Russian connections and saw that Trump was nothing more than Putin's peg boy. Having seen behind the scenes he became passionate about Trump not being President, as would anyone who cared for western democracy and the leader of the free world.

"Glenn Simpson, co-founder of the opposition research firm Fusion GPS acknowledged in a court document that his company hired the wife of a senior Justice Department official to help investigate then-candidate Donald Trump."

So what? You do know "opposition research" is done by virtually every political campaign and is not complete fantasy pulled out of thin air. It would be a lot cheaper if it was just a bunch of partisans sitting in a writers room together throwing out wild ideas to accuse their opponent of. Opposition research is just that, actual research, and what was found was stunning. Much of the Steele dossier has been confirmed, none of it has been proved false, some simply remains uncorroborated. It doesn't matter who paid for the research, it's about whether the research found anything concrete which the Steele dossier did.

"the one that never had a grad jury, gave out immunity like candy, allowed the Clinton team to use the same attorney and decided the case long before it was over"

That nothing but a bunch of sad hyperbole with not a single fact.

"Lynch and former President Bill Clinton met privately on Lynch's Jet which was parked on the tarmac in Phoenix, Arizona. Unfortunately they got caught"

That story was such a nothing burger. As if Bill Clinton wasn't able to meet her in dozens of other places or events and had to tell the AG something to get her to be complicit in some scheme to keep Hillary out of jail. What exactly do you yahoos think Bill said?

"Black Supremacist, radical ideologue"

More rhetorical nonsense. You provide nothing but what appears to be a baseless bigoted opinion and try to pass it off as established fact.

"His attitude during the New Black Panther Party's intimidation of voters in Philadelphia"

You mean the one video of two supposed black panther members standing at one polling place that was played over 400 times on Fox News over a two month period back in 2012? Of course Eric Holder refused to investigate the New Black Panther party just because of that one video. Should we have a full justice department investigation of every white supremacist or Patriot group who showed up at the Charlottseville rally because one of them murdered someone with his car?

"Obama holdovers"

You say that with such disdain, as if everyone who worked for the government during the Obama years must be some unpatriotic criminal mastermind wanting to destroy America. It's such nonsense it's beyond ridiculous.

Mike Flynn did violate the Logan act and when asked about his conversation with the Russian Ambassador while Obama was still President,

Then why not charge him with it?  It's only been around for about 200 years.

What bothered Yates was not "treason" to the US, but rather treason to the directives of Barak Obama (das leader!)

You do know "opposition research" is done by virtually every political campaign and is not complete fantasy pulled out of thin air.

Of course it can be and the "dossier" proves it:

"Christopher Steele , the former British spy who wrote the infamous anti- Donald Trump  dossier, acknowledges that a sensational charge his sources made about a tech company CEO and  Democratic Party  hacking is unverified.

In a court filing,  Mr. Steele  also says his accusations against the president and his aides about a supposed Russian hacking conspiracy were never supposed to be made public, much less posted in full on a website for the world to see on Jan. 10."

And the claim by Steele that his accusations never supposed to be made public is an OUTRIGHT LIE. He and Sydney Blumenthal fed the document to the State Department, FBI and the media. Blumenthal, for those who don't know is a key member of the Clinton Machine and will be featured in an future installment of the "Deep State". As for the "Dossier" which used unknown Russian sources - it is still, to this day unverified. You can find it online. We can discuss it but you cant say it is credible.

"is a key member of the Clinton Machine and will be featured in an future installment of the "Deep State".

Your imaginary fear of a "deep state" reminds me of a poorly educated student who complains about the teachers that are out to get them because they keep getting "F"'s on their tests and are flunking out of school. It's always someone else's fault, never that they just didn't study hard enough. It's never that Mike Flynn lied to the FBI and the justice department was doing their job trying to keep compromised agents out of our government, it's a "deep state" that entrapped him. It's frankly ludicrous. It's tin foil hat worthy.

" Verified: The Kremlin targeted educated youth and swing state voters during its cyber attacks in the 2016 campaign. "

" Verified: Trump maintains ties to rich businessmen from Azerbaijan."

"The BBC has learned that US officials "verified" a key claim in a report about Kremlin involvement in Donald Trump's election - that a Russian diplomat in Washington was in fact a spy."

The dossier that much of has been verified and none of which has been disproved?

That has to be the biggest lie I've ever heard.

Let's start with none of it being disproved:

Crucial error in Trump dirty dossier revealed: Man named as his ‘lawyer’ is not even American – and the real one denies he has ever been to city where he ‘met Kremlin agents’

  • A glaring error has been found in the dossier that claims the Russian government has embarrassing information about President-elect Donald Trump
  • In the report, it is stipulated that Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen met with Kremlin officials in Prague in August 2016
  • But CNN is now reporting that the Michael Cohen in the report is not Trump's attorney, but a man with a passport from another country
  • Cohen himself was quick to shut down the report, posting a picture of his passport on Twitter and saying he had never even visited the city in his life
  • Witnesses also told the Washingtonian that Cohen was in California with his son the day the report says he was in Prague

Read more:

Now to how much has been verified:
From Obama's own James Clapper:

The U.S. intelligence community could not corroborate the sources included in a dubious dossier on President Donald Trump, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper told Congress Monday.

“We didn’t make a judgment on that,” Clapper  told  the Senate Judiciary subcommittee on crime and terrorism . “We couldn’t corroborate the sourcing.”

Clapper noted that the intelligence community’s inability to verify the sources led to the dossier not being included in its investigation on Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election.

All that irrelevant trivia was known before Steele created his dossier. He nor anyone else can name or speak to any of his so called "Russian sources". Good luck trying to give credibility to the fraudulent abuse committed by the FBI. The question is why did they do it?
My opinion - Obama ordered them to find a way to put Trump under investigation

.which is why the left is so insanely, still trying to overturn an election. Good God children....give it up.

No one is trying to overturn anything Norman, Trump did win but, the fact still remains, what did he know and, when did he know it. It has been proven that Russia interfered in the election of 2016, to what extent is still to be determined, now the question is, how many of Trumps campaign personnel were involved in that interference, we have four people who have lied to the FBI or, at least that is what they have plead guilty to, we know that there were other crimes mentioned that Mueller was going to charge them with but, he decided not to when they plead guilty, Manafort is still on the string, he will go to prison for the "paper crimes" he has been charged with, if he doesn't plead out and, then he will spend the rest of his life in prison. Now, here's the million dollar question that Mueller is working on now, it is the same one asked of Nixon during Watergate, "What does the president know and, when did he know it."

I hope Mueller's investigation does gouge and kick ass thoroughly. I hope it exposes all of the bad actors from both sides of the aisle. At least then we can call it time and money well spent.

Good. The more personal trolling you do the more people will just skip past your comments. Seeing as how you don't seem to have any factual contributions to make to Vic's article and your comment was just a "threat"(?) to me I guess this is just a trolling visit.

Now if you don't mind I am going to get back to the real topic.

For the Mueller investigation to conclude that Trump is guilty of anything their information must be solid and irrefutable. This is a real threat to the Deep State as it would most likely reveal some of the real leaders and not just the underlings that don't know how to keep their mouths shut. Deep State is just that. Deep.

Foot soldiers wearing the titles of Director, Commissioner, Czar or whatever including elected offices are nothing but sacrificial lambs in the event things start getting to close to the truth. Obama's legacy, trashed and primarily he is now being used as the fall guy.

Bring it on Mr. Mueller. If you dare. Give us all of the rats or get out of town. Take a little more time if you really have to. Wait until after the midterms if you like but make your report at least 6 months before the 2020 elections. Don't be waiting until the last minute and be used as a hysterical campaign weapon with too little time  to determine what you present as fact as really being so.

Shock and Awe isn't going to work this time, it's too common a practice by both Parties. Eventually the media and politicians are going to learn that we aren't as gullible as they make us out to be.
