Part 3: Liars, Leaks and the unmasking
On January 5, 2017 outgoing President Barak Obama had his final briefing on "Russian activities and intentions in recent US elections". The briefing that day was conducted by four intelligence-community leaders: James Comey, Michael Rogers, John Brennan, and James Clapper. Also in attendance was Vice President Joe Biden and Acting Attorney General Sally Yates. The following day the same 4 intell leaders would be giving a briefing to President-elect Donald Trump. President Obama told us over & over again that he never intervened in cases under investigation. Yet, here's the strange thing - Obama held a follow up meeting after the briefing with Joe Biden and Susan Rice. A follow up meeting might indicate he was doing exactly that, furthermore the follow up meeting might involve the problem of what to do next, since Barak Obama had most likely placed the incoming President under investigation.
Oddly enough, Susan Rice, Obama's chief fixer and a habitual liar, would eventually send a very interesting e-mail to herself on her way out the door, on January 21. In this e-mail, Rice makes a juvenile attempt to pretend that she is attempting to memorialize what was decided, except that an e-mail written 16 days after an event isn't a record of an event, it's more likely a revision of what was said & decided. She claims that Obama told the Intell leaders " to do everything by the book ". Weren't they already doing that? Why the need to be reminded? Could it be that they were all trying to figure out how to keep the investigation going after Trump takes over the government? What about Obama not intervening in cases under investigation?
Let's assume when Comey met President Trump the next day he told him just a little bit, just enough about the "Steele Dossier" and nothing about who paid for it and lets also assume that when Comey kept assuring the new President that he was not under investigation that he was lying. Things kind of make sense now, don't they?
It looks like Ms Rice will probably have to go before congress again to answer more questions. No big deal. You see congress can be lied to without consequence. Hillary Clinton did it many times, James Clapper continued to hold his position as director of NSA despite lying to Congress under oath about the existence of bulk data collection programs in March 2013, James Comey lied to congress when he said he decided the Clinton case after he interviewed Clinton and Rice herself has testified with great ambiguity on the matter of unmasking.
The Players:
Susan Rice - Key player in the Obama administration. Obama had nominated her for US Ambassador to the United Nations. Later, in 2013 He appointed her as national security adviser. In September of 2012 Rice appeared on various news programs and made the false claim that the Benghazi attack was a direct result of a "heinous and offensive video ", and was spontaneous, not pre-planned. She repeated the administration's lie over and over until the truth came out.
On April 3, 2017, reporter Eli Lake reported that Rice had requested that the identities of some Americans mentioned in intelligence reports related to the Trump Presidential Campaign and transition team be unmasked. After first denying any involvement in such unmasking, Rice admitted that she had asked for identities of US citizens, but not for political purposes.
John Brennan - Appointed CIA director by Barak Obama in March of 2013. In May of 2017, under oath, he denied knowing who commissioned the "Steele Dossier", yet in August of 2016 he gave a private briefing to then Senate leader and leftist ideologue Harry Reid. Reid then sent a letter with information taken from the Dossier to the FBI. Part of the CIA's job is the verification of foreign assets, therefore Brennan knew who paid for it, not to mention his promulgating a fake document. He was also a leaker of false information.
Harry Reid - Sent the Dossier to the FBI and asked them to investigate Trump. The FBI used the unverified document to get a FISA warrant. Reid also probably leaked info from the Dossier to the media. Reid as you may recall sat on bills & budgets that might cost democrats their seats should they ever have to do their jobs and vote on such measures. He will also be long remembered for ending the Senate requirement for a 60 vote majority for appointments including lower Court judges.
James Clapper - Appointed Director of National Intelligence by Barak Obama on August 9, 2010. On March 12th, 2013, during a United States Senate Select Committee on Intelligence hearing, Senator Ron Wyden asked Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper the following question:
"Does the NSA collect any type of data at all on millions or hundreds of millions of Americans?"
Director Clapper responded " No, sir."
On June 6th, 2013, "whistleblower" (depending on one's point of view), - Edward Snowden revealed that the NSA was engaged in a secret program to collect tens of millions of Americans' phone call records.
In 2003, Clapper, then head of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, explained the absence of WMD in Iraq by asserting that the weapons materials were “ unquestionably” shipped out of Iraq to Syria and other countries just before the American invasion.
In 2011 he told Congress that in his opinion “over the longer term” Gaddafi “will prevail.”
When he was on "Meet The Press" he announced that Russians are "almost genetically driven" to act deviously.
Last but not least he said he thought it "pretty damn scary" that Trump had access to the nuclear codes .
Clearly, another Trump hater and a very strange choice for Director of National Intelligence.

Obama and Clinton both are in as deep in this whole Russian thing as Trump is...maybe even deeper when it comes to Clinton!
