The Trump Presidency May Be Entering It's Most Dangerous Phase So Far

There are mutterings and wonderings afoot as to just what is next for the Trump presidency.  I've been reading some analysis that predicts we are entering a new and potentially very troubling phase.

Trump To Fire National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster

March 15, 2018

The Washington Post reports:

President Trump has decided to remove H.R. McMaster as his national security adviser and is actively discussing potential replacements, according to five people with knowledge of the plans, preparing to deliver yet another jolt to the senior ranks of his administration.

Trump is now comfortable with ousting McMaster, with whom he never personally gelled, but is willing to take time executing the move because he wants to ensure both that the three-star Army general is not humiliated and that there is a strong successor lined up, these people said.

The turbulence is part of a broader potential shake-up under consideration by Trump that is likely to include senior officials at the White House, where staffers are gripped by fear and uncertainty as they await the next move from an impulsive president who enjoys stoking conflict.

WHITE HOUSE: President Trump has fired H. R. McMaster and is looking for a new National Security Adviser. To be considered for the job, applicants will need to have at least 5 years of Fox & Friends appearances.

Rumor is that the National Security Adviser job is down to the neo-con nutcase John Bolton and a man named Keith Kellogg who Trump says is a lot of fun at the Situation Room bs sessions.

Yeah, Bolton is bad news wherever he lands.   Thus he's the perfect fit for this utter disaster of an administration.

Apparently Matt Damon is moving his family to Australia because he's so disgusted by Trump.

Seems like an iffy trade off to abandon a country run by a fascist for one where all the fauna is poisonous.

Don't think Canada is not on our list. As a immediate family member of a person born in Finland I can immigrant there easily, just by asking actually, but Joan won't go where there is snow.

Vancouver gets very little snow. You can take the cable car up Grouse Mountain, that overlooks the city and ski up there in the morning and then go back down and play golf in the afternoon.  I have actually seen photos of palm trees in Vancouver. The problem is that the Chinese are pushing the price of housing up too much.

I would take my chances with the flora and fauna, at least it would be quick and possibly not quite so painful.

I'd dump her right quick and marry a snow bunny.    One of my ski buddies made the mistake of marrying a non-skier and he's been regretting it ever since.

Eventually Americans, at least most of them, will tire of Trump, see through his lies, selfishness and demand he simply just get out.

I am confident that Trump and his family will end up being the most reviled people in the world.  I also expect Melania to walk out within three months.  ( With a multi million dollar book deal ) to sweeten her exit.

Donald Trump has lied, cheated and slandered people his whole life.  I very much look forward to it all coming back on him like a Great White Shark in a feeding frenzy, leaving only the bones of his alleged empire of wealth to be picked off by everybody he's ever cheated and stolen from.  The real knee slapper will be when Putin kicks him in the teeth with a hearty laugh.  Just desserts.

The butt-hurt Snowflakes class needs a collective lobotomy....and fast.

Ah, aren't republicans inviting Stormy to their next public gathering?  Along with Juanita Broderick and the other Clinton accusers they like so much?  Do you have a different standard for the GOP?  Is there ANY standard you apply to both parties?  Remember when the GOP used to pretend they cared about family values?  Are you hoping Mueller finds a smoking gun, like the blue dress?  I know I am. Watching karma in action is entertaining.

Nope, the contract to shut up came later, now he claims she owes him $20 million. I can't wait to see what services he's made up to charge her with. Seems odd that he'd give her $130,000 when she owes him all that money. But he thinks that if she goes to Federal Court, "his" DOJ better tear her up.

Or he'll denounce and fire a few people.

Meantime, trump does Putin's will by fighting with a ex-porn star about a affair they had just after his wife delivered a new baby. I guess he was feeling "constricted."

Lookin' good to the whole rest of the world, 'merica.

As things worsen my wife and I are beginning to wonder if retiring here in the desert East pf L.A. really was a better choice then retiring in Costa Rica or Mexico. It would have been much more expensive and made a major crush in our nest egg to make it work the other way, but still....We wake up every morning to more news that feels like quicksand sucking our country down and Trump and his minions shoving us down into it. We want to fight, but feel helpless. Especially when we see the fools who still are following him to our Democracy's grave. Watching as they wave their their flag and bibles and chat as they march into it willing, happily, stupidly, like sheep.

We love California and of course America, but this child in the White House is doing incredible damage to our nation and we are hoping almost for a superman to stop him before he destroys our democracy completely and hands it over to Putin. He has got to go!

What i find interesting is how many people "talk shit" about leaving the US and how few actually do it.   Basically most of it is tantamount to a child throwing a temper tantrum.

But they rarely leave.    They'll never admit it but they have it too good here.   They just want to bitch about what doesn't go their way and threaten to run away if they don't get their way.   Just like a child.

So don't just talk about it.   If you are really that unhappy just do it.   I'd respect you much more if you did.

And how many on the right are hard wired to ignore. Leaving as an option is not required, time alone will right the ship. If you smell a rotting corpse you know what it is instantly, the current administration has a stink that is also unmistakable and will be eradicated by their own misdeeds, be patient.

I feel like America is watching a "Wile E Coyote" cartoon. The "Acme" presidency, while Trump drops the anvil only to have it backfire and the roadrunner zips away.

The people that left are the roadrunner(s) because they are out of the lunacy, they escaped.

But it is becoming increasingly apparent that Trump lied, he does NOT hire the "best people". By firing everyone or watching the exodus of those indicted or resigning because of corruption, we see what a total maniac Trump really is.

He doesn't want smart competent people, he wants lying sycophants who will let him live a lie.

Trump is trying to "normalize" chaos in the White House, and express his power in a visible way. These are not good signs for the rest of us when they come from someone as psychologically unstable as Trump is.

well he's done THAT pretty good, now nobody is surprised at chaos in the WH, but just wonder what kind of chaos it is today. He has really tipped since the young woman that he liked to think of as a daughter (brrrrrrrrrrrr) quit that nice WH job where she could be cozy with trump and hit the doors for unspecified other opportunities. He's mentally 8 yrs old AND now his little heart is broken.

Are we really going to let him go to N. Korea?
