Obama hit Russia with the harsh sanctions, which this administration has refused to implement. Obama kicked out Russian spies and confiscated their HQ. Trump wants to return it to Russia.
Obama, a Harvard Law School Graduate, former United State Senator, former Illinois State Representative, former Congressional candidate, former, longer Community Activist, 8 year President, knew that the "crazies" within this new Neo-Con Republican Party would go blister if he put his thumb on the election scales.
Trump and Republicans in Congress have ignored this CRITICAL ISSUES, and, nearly all others, to cling greedily to power.

Wally, the administration has set on its hands for over a year and a half and done nothing to protect America's election process. $120 MILLION was allocated by Congress for that purpose, yet, Tillerson, former Secretary of State sat on it and not one dame dine has been spent.
Republicans in Congress are just now holdings meeting on what could be done. That is like a farmer meeting with his workers after the cows ran off.
Why has the Republican-controlled Congress drug its feet, coercive, and obstructed the investigation into Russian meddling? Because Republicans and Trump benefited from Russia's intrusion into our election process.
The election of 2016 was stolen. The evidence has become clearer and clearer, yet, the Republican-controlled Congress has spent the last 18 months denying that it existed, then, doing everything that they could do to cover it up.
Why?
Because nearly every Republican in Congress took money from the NRA, money that was laundered by them from Russian sources. Our own Intel, Europes, and those of all of our allies have been warning about Russia constant meddling in elections of every democratic nation on the planet.
Are we a nation subservient to Putin's will? Is Trump a paid pawn of Russia.
For 16 months the evidence has poured in from our International Intelligence allies, and our own government Intel Agencies confirming the extent of Russian penetration into our 2016 election. Republicans in CONGRESS have drugged their feet, denied, denied, and obstructed every opportunity to get to the bottom of this SERIOUS intrusion.
Out Midterm Election is rapidly approaching and already our own government agencies are warning that "the Red Lights are FLASHING", again, about Russia on-going interference.
Conservative Republicans and the so-called "President" of the United States has done nothing to stop this attack.

60% of the guns found used in crimes came from out of State. If you restrict something, let's say weed, in your town, but the town 10 minutes away has a legal dispensary, do you really think your town will stay pot free? The surrounding States have some of the most lax gun laws in the country. Several where the bulk of guns are coming into Chicago from have regular gun shows where the only thing you need to buy a gun is a valid ID and the ability to answer "No" when asked by the salesman if you're a felon or not. It's easy money for many straw dealers who buy guns in surrounding states then sell them at a huge mark up on the streets of Chicago. If we had universal background checks this might not be so easy and might actually have an effect on gun availability in some of the gang riddled areas.
