Witches Plan To Gather In Brooklyn To Curse Kavanaugh And The Patriarchy
Occultists in Brooklyn are inviting practitioners of witchcraft to place a hex on Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and the patriarchy.
Catland, an establishment that describes itself as “Brooklyn’s premiere occult bookshop & spiritual community space,” recently issued an invitation on Facebook which read, “Please join us for a public hex on Brett Kavanaugh, upon all rapists and the patriarchy at large which emboldens, rewards and protects them.”
“We are embracing witchcraft’s true roots as the magik [sic] of the poor, the downtrodden and disenfranchised and it’s [sic] history as often the only weapon, the only means of exacting justice available to those of us who have been wronged by men just like him,” the statement, noticed by CNS News, continued. “He will be the focal point, but by no means the only target, so bring your rage and and all of the axes you’ve got to grind. There will also be a second ritual afterward – ‘The Rites of the Scorned One’ which seeks to validate, affirm, uphold and support those of us who have been wronged and who refuse to be silent any longer.”
I always thought Gretel was hot.
ummmmm….ssssshhhhh….don't tell my wife but …….. ME TOO.
Perhaps it might have been better if Hawkeye..., I mean Hansel, had the crossbow instead of Gretel.
Aaaaahhhhh….Nothing like the movies.

See I told you there would be a price to pay !!!

LOL
Unfortunately, LOL this isn't it.
If these are all practicing Wiccans, then they will be surprised when the curse returns to them threefold. First of all, while I never practiced Wicca, I have been around quite a few that have. And, here are some things I have learned about the Goddess. She is the embodiment of Life, therefore Planned Parenthood is anathema to her and the fact that funds are being donated to Planned Parenthood is going to be an insult to her. Secondly, they are judging and cursing a man for something that they have no proof of, just allegations. Cursing the innocent, even misguidedly, will cause any such curse to be returned to the person(s) casting the curse three times worse than what they originally called for. So, in reality, they are essentially cursing themselves.
Hexing someone seems rude, maybe even deadly. You'd think a thing like that would be against the law. It would make my year if some imaginative DA prosecuted these miscreants.
It's a protected religious expression, just like your prayer.
I need to stock up on incense for Halloween, so I'd stray and take part. It could be fun.
Sure, but I'm not praying that someone else gets hurt. What if the hex actually causes someone to be hurt? Seems wrong.
Where is your outrage when Christians pray to harm members of other religions, LGBT, independent working women and atheists?
I just had my hybrid broom winterized. I hate hats because they mess up my hair.
Sure, I got two, it also has stirrups for the fancy riding.
Mine has a cupholder for my java mug and a place for my GPS.
The new I-Broom 7 is on my wish list...
Witch hat hair ...... sounds bad!
Is that the one that comes with Onstar and, Sirius XM?
Nice, helps control crotch crickets .... or at least makes em easier to locate .....
Yeah, not going to happen.
Is it any more wrong that when theists pray to their god that something bad happens to another?
Holy smokes. Do you really not see the funny in this?
You actually think I'm serious.
If you're not going to take the discussion seriously, then why bother? Either way, it doesn't change what I said.
Sorry to bust your bubble but,
Witchcraft or, Wicca is protected by the First Amendment since it is considered a religion.
Yes, but there's a problem-- which groups are considered a religion, which aren't? Unless some legislature passes legislation that clearly defines that-- or The Supreme Court clearly rules on the matter . . . opinions vary.
While it may sound simple, with some unconventional groups there's controversy. Is Wicca a true religin-- or not? How about some polytheistic religions-- do people have a right to call themselves members of religion if they worship more than one God? What about Scientology-- do they have a right to call themselves a religion? (Actually they sound more like Devil Worshippers to me!)
Which brings up an interesting point-- is Devil Worship a religion? (After all-- shouldn't people have the right to worship whatever God or Gods they want-- without the government telling them who they may and may not worship?) What about people who worship a God who flies and is made of some sort of Pasta? And-- how about people who sincerely practice idol worship-- shouldn't they have a right to their beliefs?
Krishna my friend you have answered your own question and, don't even realize it, by quoting my comment in your post you have given yourself the answer, Congress, which is the body that makes the laws, cannot respect one religion over another, it doesn't matter if one worships one god or, a million gods and, goddess's or, an idol or, the devil or, the Great Spaghetti monster because, it is a religion to that person then Congress must respect that religion and, not make a law against it.
You gotta learn to laugh a little.
I do, except when it comes to some ones rights under the law.
Why would you have a right to cast a magic spell that could hurt a person any more than you'd have a right to poison their pudding cup?
That is protected religious expression. If it does harm someone then the government must prove it and prosecute those involved. Their religious belief/action cannot be prevented because of what might happen.
Exorcism is only prosecuted after the fact. Baptism cannot be banned because someone might drown, despite the risk of immersing someone's head in a river.
Actions intended to harm someone have never been protected.
That's stupid. The intent of baptism is not to drown someone. The intent of a hex is to hurt someone.
What do you mean "might" happen? Are you saying the hex isn't real? Gordy just told me I should take this seriously. @5.2.20 You seem to be suggesting I shouldn't. Which is it?
Do you know what a Voodoo doll is? They are not illegal, despite the intent of sticking pins in them.
There is a real risk of immersing someone's head in water, especially if they are anxious or very young.
Why does a Christian have the right to ask Yahweh or, Jesus to defeat a political opponent or, to support their candidate over another?
Outrageous! There oughta be a law.
Maybe things are different in your district, but around here, we don't beat harm people for losing elections.
This is just more of the Left endorsing mob violence. You should be ashamed of yourself.
tsk!
There is. Its called religious freedom. You formerly were for it, unless its the religious beliefs of someone who doesn't pray to your preferred sky fairy.
Maybe you should pray that your god does something to punish these people. We'll get back to you in a week and see if your god answered those prayers.
omg you're killin' me.
Where did I say anything about beating or, harming anyone, especially for LOSING an election? Please show me.
I was into Voodoo for a while, still practice a little, in order of the doll to work you have to have something of the intended victim to put on the doll, hair, a finger nail cutting, a piece of their clothing something like that.
I didn't claim you did. I was giving examples of actual harm. Really, you're overthinking this. Or underthinking. Or side-thinking.
What a cheap ass group of "witches". Where does the other 50% go? Also note that while these "witches" are putting a hex on men who allegedly sexually assaulted women, none of their proceeds will be donated to men, women, and children who have really been sexually assaulted.
Hey! Eye of newt has really increased in price and replacement brooms are costly also.
So have the prices of frog toes and bat wool!
Better ask before taking them though!
They even have the vibrating brooms for flying crotch massages.
You can get anything you want-- at Alice's restaurant! But if its closed, try Amazon:

Karma is a real bitch, if they do this they must remember the number one rule of witchcraft, whatever you do to someone else will be returned to you three fold. I don't think that I will join this little ritual, I believe things will happen as the gods and, goddess's wish it to, not as I wish to make them.
I like going old school ..... I put a “Pox” on em .......
No, I like this idea better,
Crazy comes in many flavors.
Witches Plan To Gather In Brooklyn To Curse Kavanaugh And The Patriarchy
That'll show them.
No problem. When can follow the Monty Python technique to determine who's a witch and who's not:
She's a witch
No problem.
Actually, I've asked the gods and, goddess's to give Kavanaugh exactly what he deserves, that way Karma isn't involved.
They did. He's seated on the Supreme Court. I guess, with thanks to you.
No, I did that after he was confirmed.
Which one, I pray to many gods and, goddess's.
All I know is be careful flashing the Evil Eye at folks. I get powerful stabbing pains in my eyes these days
