But Trump had to walk back his ill thought pronouncement of the pullout, and Bolton is as good a candidate as anyone to carry Trump's water to the world.

It is clear that the asshole wants credit BOTH for pulling out (saying we are pulling out) AND for leaving the troops there. That is what a bullshitter con man does. He has found a duped audience for his shit too among the "deplorables" .
The 25th amendment needs to have a clause for mental health and intelligence.
There are doubts that Donald Trump can read at a 6th-grade level.
Trump now claims that he never meant the troops were going to leave Syria "now".
You see, he "means" whatever will help him bs everyone at the moment he is speaking. It is amazing that more of his followers can't realize that.

Turkey will never ensure the safety of the Kurds because Turkey regards them as terrorists.
To me the biggest downside of Trump as PotUS is the international optics. The PotUS is largely the face of the nation and it is embarrassing to broadcast to the world that this is the person we think best represents us.
