Economy added 263,000 jobs in April, unemployment falls to lowest level since 1969
It’s still a job hunter’s market, with more open positions than people available to fill them, pushing wages even higher as companies compete for the best workers.

The economy added a healthy 263,000 jobs in April, firmly beating analyst expectations of 190,000, according to Friday’s monthly snapshot from the Department of Labor.

The nation's unemployment level fell to 3.6 percent, the lowest since December 1969, and average hourly earnings grew by 0.2 percent, for an annual gain of 3.2 percent, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

So, exactly what will the Democrats run on?

Higher taxes?

Destroying the American economy with dreams of an all green power grid?

IMPEACH, IMPEACH, IMPEACH, HATE TRUMP, HATE TRUMP, HATE TRUMP.

I tend to believe the vast majority of Americans will once again vote with their wallets that green stuff in them.

Greg, can you tell us how many ILLEGAL votes that the trump admin found? Was it 3+ million? I mean, the right loves to scream about the illegals voting...so do tell us how many illegals voted, in 2016, according to the trump admin?

But considering how the Dems operate, by conventional wisdom and common sense...

we can rest assured a lot of fraudulent votes were cast, especially in California.

We'll never know.  Considering that the Clinton win in California was roughly 3 million, and California REFUSED to cooperate in any investigation regarding voting eligibility, and further considering that California provides Drivers Licenses to ILLEGAL ALIEN INVADERS and a form of identification accepted by California for voting is...  drum roll please, a California Drivers License, well, as noted we'll never know.

But, I'll say this now.

Whether it's one vote, or a hundred, a thousand, or ten million, it's irrelevant.  ONE ILLEGAL VOTE is ON TOO MANY.  One illegal vote negates the LEGITIMATE vote of a legally eligible voter.

Yeah that's what I heard third hand as well.

In reality, while to most westerners, it sounds gross, it's pretty common in other parts of the world.

Dogs and cats are on the menu in many places, along with horse meat.  And let's not forget upscale restaurants that serve 'squab', which is a polite way of saying pigeon!!  LOL

Now as to rats, there is this to ponder:

The mere thought of eating a rat would immediately trigger a strong “yuck” reaction among most Westerners, but for many people from around the world a rodent is a much anticipated culinary treat. Rats are a regular staple in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, parts of the Philippines and Indonesia, Thailand, Ghana, China and Vietnam. In South and Central America, several rodent species are highly appreciated as culinary items and some are even farmed much like pigs and cows. In some Asian countries, rodent meat is so popular, it is even sold in supermarkets. “Rats are tinned in the Philippines, sold as STAR meat (rats spelled backwards) in supermarkets, often eaten at weddings in Vietnam, and usually considered a delicacy by most South East Asians”, said Grant Singleton, an expert on rodent biology and management at the International Rice Research Institute in the Philippines. Cambodia exports up to 2 tonnes of wild rats to Vietnam per day on the peak of the “rat‐season”1. Among members of the Adi tribe, in north‐east India, rats are valued not just for their taste, but also as a cultural item. Every year, on March 7, they celebrate Unying‐Aran, a popular hunting festival where the most precious prey are rats. “Gifts of rats, dead of course, are also an important item in making sure the bride's relatives are happy to see their daughter leave her old family and join that of her husband”, said Victor Benno Meyer‐Rochow at Oulu University, Finland, who recently published a study on the eating habits of this tribe2. It seems like most of you forget when Obama came into office and what the economy did under him.

Hardly.  We hit the bottom and were on the way back up.

HOWEVER....  it seems YOU forget what Obama had helping him.

Obama - Several TRILLION dollars of stimulus money much of which was procured albeit not distributed before he even took the oath of office.  That's thanks to Congress and the prior administration.

Trump - ZERO dollars stimulus funding.

Obama - Benefactor of zero or near zero interest rates for essentially his entire term in office.

Trump - Rising interest rates along with rising employment and market conditions.

Obama - The FED pumping nearly 85 BILLION dollars a month into the financial markets in an effort to stabilize them.

Trump - ZERO assistance from the FED

Obama - The worst 'economic recovery' since WWII (Evidence below and please note source....  CNN)

Yes, this is the slowest U.S. recovery since WWII Source:  https://money.cnn.com/2016/10/05/news/economy/us-recovery-slowest-since-wwii/

Trump - A booming economy.

So, yes, please provide some other charts.  But, rather than charts showing what was accomplished by others, find charts that show something that was accomplished by Obama POLICIES.   You know, policies like, cutting taxes, cutting regulations, helping businesses grow, challenging other nations trade barriers and opening up markets to American manufactured products, challenging trade pacts and accords which were great for other countries but extremely detrimental to America.  You know, like the TPP or the Paris accords.

I know you can find something positive that Obama did, can't you?  You can can't you?  Can you?  Hello...  Hello...  Hello...

I know lots of Americans need more than one job because wages suck, are you denying that?  No, not everyone.  Have you checked out some of the jobs and their salaries available?  Wages haven't risen enough in decades (notice I didn't blame Trump alone).  They are still underwater and if you can show me what Trump did to raise wages, I'll take a look.

Didn't deny that, now did I? Why do you keep doing that? If I MEANT to say something, I SAY it. Stop trying to pull that crap with me--I told you I don't allow that.

Have you checked out some of the jobs and their salaries available? Wages haven't risen enough in decades (notice I didn't blame Trump alone). They are still underwater and if you can show me what Trump did to raise wages, I'll take a look.

Perhaps had you read the article, you would know that wages are rising--faster now than in a long time. Of course, it might not be fast enough for you, and I am sure in your mind it must all be Trump's fault--even though the numbers have improved since Obama left office.

I know lots of Americans need more than one job because wages suck, are you denying that?

You ARE aware are you not that there has been exceptional WAGE GAINS under Trump as opposed to the STAGNATION under Obama, aren't you?   Further, it's not your problem nor mine if people need multiple jobs.  Have you ever considered that they simply live beyond their means?

Have you checked out some of the jobs and their salaries available?

Yes I have.  Have YOU?

2.4 Million Skilled Jobs Projected to Go Unfilled in Manufacturing

With that many jobs going unfilled between this year and 2028, there could be $454 billion in manufacturing GDP at risk in 2028, or more than $2.5 trillion over the next decade.

That they don't have the requisite SKILLS to get a good paying job is not my problem.  There are trade schools and apprenticeship programs available.  But wait, taking a skilled trade position means having to do actual WORK and not sitting in a corner office with the Basket Weaving degree hanging on the wall.

Wages haven't risen enough in decades (notice I didn't blame Trump alone).  They are still underwater and if you can show me what Trump did to raise wages, I'll take a look.

How's this for starters.

You know that some have a screw loose when they talk about a guaranteed income for all versus putting people to work.

Hell, they lost all the screws and nuts and bolts.   Simple math is not one of their fortes.

I'll use the lower amount of $600.00 per month that I heard some idiot propose.

I'll also only use about 2/3's of the US population and say 200,000,000 (two hundred million) people receiving the monthly stipend.

So, $600 x 200,000,000 is $120,000,000,000 (one hundred and twenty billion) monthly federal expenditure.

Now, multiply that $120,000,000,000 by 12 months and you get the grand number of $1,440,000,000,000 (one trillion four hundred forty billion) annual federal expenditure.

Once that number settles in, try to comprehend the other expenditures the left wants, medicare for all, free college, free child care, and all the other free shit they want to promise to induce the moron minions voting to vote for them, and you'll soon determine that the printing presses would not be capable of printing the money fast enough, they could not tax everyone enough and even seizing the existing wealth of every American could not fund their drug addled brains wet dreams.

But, they'll still try, and the truly terrifying part is the brain dead morons that want all that free shit are too stupid to understand it's an impossibility to provide.   Hell, they'd simply demand more.

The No. 1 job in America pays over $108,000 a year

As unemployment falls to a 49-year low in April, there’s probably never been a better time since the Great Recession to brush up on your skills — and look for another job.

.....

.....

The jobs environment is getting rosier, at least judging by the latest jobs figures released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics Friday. Unemployment fell to 3.6% in April from 3.8% in March. The 263,000 new jobs in April was mainly driven by white-collar businesses, construction and health care. Economists polled by MarketWatch expected the U.S. to add 213,000 jobs in April. One word of caution, however: Nearly a half-million workers also dropped out of the labor force last month.

Show me what Trump did and how it changed the trajectory from Obama's.

Look at your own damn chart.   At the point where the upward trajectory during Obama essentially flat lined at 1650, having some minor ups and downs, is where the FED stopped pumping billions into the financial system.  It continued that horizontal line until the roughly 1950 point.   Do you know what THAT point represented?  The November 2016 ELECTION of Donald Trump.   THAT trajectory had NO FED or Congressional help.  It was the realization by the job creators, aka BUSINESSES, that there was a man taking office that understood business and would work for America instead of going on global apology tours chastising and denigrating America.

I love those charts.  They prove unequivocally that Obama was impotent economically without massive help and Trump is stepping out and up with not only no help, but in lieu of ZERO interest rates, he has increasing interest rates and is STILL succeeding.

I really hope I'm still living in 2020 to see the result of the 'media war on the administration vs the improved economy'.  Wasn't it Bush Sr. who said "Read my lips"?  Was it he who said "It's the economy, stupid."

It's sure not going to be about something like the Mueller Report which the Dems will still be holding investigations about while the real world continues to move forward without them.
