Fox’s Tomi Lahren Touts Straight Pride Parade Run by Far-Right Extremists

Tomi Lahren’s   back with a brand new over-the-top aggrieved rant against political correctness and the liberal agenda. And hoo boy, was this one is a doozy.

In her latest “First Thoughts” video essay posted Wednesday to Fox News’ online streaming service Fox Nation, Lahren came to the defense   of a group of far-right extremists   who are attempting to hold a “Straight Pride Parade” in Boston later this summer.

Noting at the start that June is Gay Pride Month, Lahren insisted she has “no issue with LGBT people being proud of who they are” before snarking that she “can do without men in speedos and buttless chaps parading through the streets.”

She then pivoted to   the possibility that Boston may shut down the straight pride event , claiming “straight people aren’t allowed to parade their heterosexuality for all to see.”

Highlighting that the group calls itself “Super Happy Fun America,” the Fox Nation host touted the organization’s “mission statement,” which purports to embrace straight people’s diversity and identity to “promote engagement with the community.”

Lahren, meanwhile, took issue with the backlash the event has received, claiming white men are the real victims. “Now, you wouldn’t think that would be a problem, right? Wrong,” she exclaimed. “Don’t forget, it is open season on straight white men in this country and y’all aren’t allowed to celebrate your straightness! It’s 2019—don’t you know that’s been off limits for the last ten years!”

She would go on to attack the “social-justice warriors” who mocked the parade and its organizers, sneering that it was “funny” that the “so-called loving and tolerant leftists and members of the LGBT community” demand respect for their events but demonize those they disagree with.

She concluded her tirade in   standard fashion , railing against anti-conservative bias before declaring: “I’m not afraid to say it. I’m straight and proud. There, deal with it!”

Nowhere in her monologue, however, was any mention that the “Straight Pride Parade” is “a front for a far-right group founded by notorious right-wing brawler Kyle “Based Stickman” Chapman.”

As   The Daily Beast reported   this week, event organizer Mark Sahady is also an organizer of extremist group Resist Marxism, a group founded by Chapman, who gained fame on the far-right for attacking anti-fascists with a stick. Resist Marxism, whose members were exposed for making anti-Semitic jokes and slurs in leaked chats, has also used a white-nationalist hate group to run security during at least one event.

What sort of numbnuts put value in what such vacuous persons say on TV?

Who died making Tomi Lahren a go to authority on anything more important than eye shadow or how to best bleach ones hair to the point it erases any traces of intellect?

Rachel Maddow does have a PhD is politics.

Maddow grew up in the San Francisco Bay area with her attorney father and school-administrator mother. She attended Stanford University , where she earned a B.A. in public policy (1994). As a graduating senior, she won the John Gardner Fellowship award for public service, which provided a stipend, mentorship, and placement for a 10-month period in a public service organization. Maddow worked with the AIDS Legal Referral Panel in San Francisco and became a prison AIDS advocate. While in college, she decided to come out as a lesbian by posting copies of an open letter to the community throughout her dormitory. In 1995 she attended the University of Oxford as a Rhodes scholar . She received a doctorate (D.Phil.) in politics in 2001; her dissertation was titled “HIV/AIDS and Health Care Reform in British and American Prisons.”

Shouldn't she just shut the hell up and go get her husband a sandwich and a beer? I mean if she wants to be the bastion of "traditional values" for straight white conservatives then she should be seen next to and slightly behind her husband wrangling her brood of home schooled children. Until then she's just another hypocrite.

The "need" for a Straight Pride Parade reminds me of the "need" for a "Miss White America" contest.

I would like to tell my fellow straight Americans - we are the majority, by a rather large number. We don't need to advertise for support.

So why do gays need a pride parade? What are they trying to prove? They've overcome the obstacles and won, why keep fighting the battle. Why the need to advertise.

I don't know, maybe the decades of relentless shame and ridicule heaped upon them by oblivious religious conservatives has something to do with that...

Hope you don't mind Tessy, but I had a laugh at this...

Axe Body Spray made a bold declaration on Twitter: It supports gay rights and won't be at the controversial Straight Pride Parade set to be held in Boston this August.

The statement on Wednesday began with someone tweeting what they imagined could serve as floats for the Straight Pride Parade. A giant Axe body spray float topped the list.

Axe refuted the association by responding , "we'll be at the parade that matters and this one isn't it."

A second person on Twitter entered the back and forth: "Good to know you don't support straight people...I'm glad, because I think @Axe smells like garbage. #stayoutofpolitics"

Axe then responded: "Gay rights are human rights but go off jill."

The company continued the conversation in replies to other people on Twitter. At one point, the brand Pop-Tarts tweeted "i love you axe ." And Axe quipped back, "this is honestly such an honor."

"This is something we've been committed to for years," an Axe spokesman said in a statement to CNN Business. "We stand up for what we believe in and that includes gay rights and rights for the LGBTQ+ community — LOVE is LOVE."

Axe said it will have a presence at the World Pride parade in New York on June 30th. The brand will be part of parent company Unilever's United We Stand float. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, which were a turning point for LGBTQ rights.

"Come out and say hello," the company said in the statement.

Not really a fan of Axe but I might have to buy some now.  Haha

Way to go Axe and PopTarts !

I would have no problem with a "straight pride parade" as long as straight people are constantly, consistently shamed daily for being straight starting as soon as they're old enough to talk and express themselves as liking someone of the opposite sex. Shame them, call them "narrows" and "squares", make fun of them and tell them they better keep the fact that their straight a secret or they might not get a good job or they might get fired if anyone finds out. Then, and only then, should everyone support a "Straight Pride Parade" to attempt to allow straight persons some pride in the way they were born.

So go ahead religious conservatives, start calling your straight child a little "narrow" and tease them mercilessly if they admit they are attracted to someone of the opposite sex. Then everyone will support your straight pride parade. But beware, doing so will likely double the likelihood that your child will try to take their own life before they reach adulthood. Shame is a powerful thing, as is pride. So maybe building pride instead of shame, regardless of a child's sexual orientation, from an early age might be a better option than everyone needing their own pride parade later in life.

Nobody had to keep it in the closet that they're straight, nobody ( as far as I've ever heard) has gotten beaten up because a bunch of gay people thought they were straight or were "too straight." Never heard of any straight people who had to pretend they were gay so they wouldn't get the boot from their church or get harassed or attacked by people in their city, or have been harassed for dressing too straight.

I can kind of understand a gay pride parade as sort of a over-reaction of finally being released from their closet. They're going to PO the people who are ultra conservatives and religious right with the first two words they speak when they say "I'm gay," sooooo might as well make a parade and REALLY rub it in with dancing and costumes and songs. Can't really make the ultras more angry then then they did with their first two words anyway, so might as well enjoy themselves and get a good laugh out of it.

But a straight pride parade? It doesn't take any courage to stand up and say "I'm straight" and the women think it's a come-on and straight men just say "so what?"  or start wondering if you really ARE straight.

No weapons allowed at the parade, that's going to cut down the manliness right there, and think what it going to look like.

I imagine a lot will be shirtless to show their straight manly chests which on a third will be white-white and 20-200LBs overweight and a third will be so skinny they can't cast a shadow. One third will be in the normal range no more than 20 LBs over or under, and a few might even look good. They'll stand out. Teeth are optional, facial hair will be the full Jesus hair and beard going down the scale to full shaving of face and head. Do manly men manscape?

Signs will be mostly "USA" or pictures of or real US flags and of course, crosses. Don't know what they could chant (manly men don't sing) "USA, USA, USA" not that it has a connection, but it's the best of what they know the words to. Oh there's always the manly grunts and the yelling of "yeeehaw!" and "whaaaahoooo!" and crude offers to any females they see I guess.

I don't think it'll work out so well, more people will be laughing and throwing grapes than cheering, and they may get dangerous when women don't throw themselves at their feet and they may turn each other on enough they attack.

Now, if it's just all in fun because they're bored, and the end of the parade is to go to the park and have a massive BBQ and watch porno movies, then go for it guys.  Otherwise, they may be massively disappointed.
