Interesting to note that democrats were all for protectionism and tariffs when they were the party of the working class and labor unions. That big tech corporate money changed your minds?

At one time (long ago) the Democratic party was for slavery-- but The Republicans were the defenders of the rights of African Americans.(I assume you are aware of Abraham lincoln, and the Civil War?)
Personally, I've always found it fascinating how the roles of those two parties completely reversed over time!
