Did Jeffery Epstein Kill Himself Because He Had Remorse For His Evil Deeds Or Because He Didnt Want To Live Without Wealth And Privilege
Why? Was he ashamed of himself beyond bearing?  Or was he overcome with despair at the prospect of spending the rest of his life without wealth and power?

Accused child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein hung himself in his jail cell overnight.

Why? Was he ashamed of himself beyond bearing?  Or was he overcome with despair at the prospect of spending the rest of his life without wealth and power?

Epstein's is a story of the power of money.  He became rich through "financialization" the technical term for moving money around and getting paid for being deceptive and clever as opposed to someone who gets rich by providing a good to the world. Then he lived "the good life" that can come with excess wealth. Excess habits. Exploiting others, sexually as we have heard, but most likely emotionally, psychologically, and materially, also.

Now, with his empire in ruins and himself in prison, he has decided to end his existence rather than ....... what?  Face the music? or face life as a regular person?

Ya might wanna check the "Clinton" hit list, because, obviously suicide "watches" don't work for high profile sex offenders.

A Vince Foster moment, perhaps???

This disgusting perv was on strict suicide watch. It's foolish to think he didn't have a helping hand or two in his demise.

The big question is....how much did he reveal before he was disposed of?

Suicide hasn't been confirmed yet, but if it is, how does a prisoner on strict suicide watch commit suicide?  Can you answer that or just make smartass comments?

Didn't he have some bruises on his neck a couple weeks ago, as if someone tried to strangle him. Can't believe he would have been in general pop or even sharing a cell with anyone.

On a serious note John - how do you explain the discrepancies in his "attempted" suicide last week with "bruises" on his arms and neck, while on a Suicide Watch, and his sudden demise yesterday, WHILE ON A SUICIDE WATCH?

Here is how a suicide watch works in "most" prisons:

The person is put in an observation room and kept away from dangerous objects. Suicide watch is mostly designed to prevent hanging, which is far and away the most common suicide method in prisons and hospitals. An observation room might have little more than a mattress on the floor. Any stray bits of fabric could be used as a noose: Some states make sure the inmate sleeps with an extra-thick blanket that can’t be tied or torn into strips. In extreme cases, a prisoner may be undressed and given a paper gown.

Even if a suicidal prisoner does manage to tie something around his neck, he won’t be able to hang himself unless he has somewhere to tie the other end. Rooms are designed without any protrusions from the ceiling, walls, or furniture. Window cages, sprinkler heads, and bunk handles all pose problems. Even bars set low to the ground could be dangerous—an inmate might get on his knees and strangle himself by thrusting his weight forward all at once.

Many suicide-watch rooms have 24-hour video surveillance, but prison staff must also perform routine, in-person checks. Depending on the level of risk—as determined by prison psychiatrists—nurses or corrections officers might drop by once per half-hour or 15 minutes on average. (Staffers mix up the schedule so the prisoner doesn’t know when they’re coming.) At each visit, the prison employee should verify that the inmate is alive and breathing and then mark their observations on a timesheet. Some institutions—including the Federal Bureau of Prisons—have made fellow inmates responsible for these checks. One recent study found that “inmate observers” were more effective than authority figures at calming down a prisoner on suicide watch. (Using inmate observers also saves the prison a lot of money.)

Intermittent checks may not give staffers enough time to stop a suicide attempt, since it takes only four or five minutes to hang yourself. In some states, inmates deemed to be at “acute risk” are given continuous supervision—someone is watching them every minute of every day. This designation is typically reserved for those who seem both inclined to commit suicide and temporarily unable to control their actions. In a hospital setting, the most extreme situations may call for a “sitter” who will remain within arm’s reach of the patient for the duration of the watch.

If the suicide-watch system fails, a prison may be liable for civil damages. The institution must have a reasonable method for assessing risk and preventing self-injury. For example, relevant members of the prison staff should have sufficient training to deal with a suicide attempt. They should also make a concerted effort to keep dangerous objects out of the hands of the inmates.

So, now the question(s) should rally 'round - how much money was spent on the suicide?  who else's hands were involved?  what has the autopsy determined or will there even be one?  since he was considered a "high risk", "In some states, inmates deemed to be at “acute risk” are given continuous supervision—someone is watching them every minute of every day.", and since this was in the Manhattan Correctional Facility, a place well known for staging high profile cases, how could this have slipped through the cracks??

If the "prison" staff actually conducted routine observation, i.e. 5 to 15 minute patrols/monitoring w/w/o monitoring apparatus, then it pretty well shows that Epstein had assistance in his suicide.

Despite warning signs, why wasn't Jeffrey Epstein on suicide watch when he died?

Epstein, 66, was removed from suicide watch on July 29, just six days after the self-inflicted bruising on his neck was spotted, according to the New York Times. It meant that he was returned to the special housing unit at the jail, which is separated from the rest of the facility and has extra security

As if no one besides Trump ever traveled on the Lolita Express. A lot of politicians (Including the Clintons), lawyers, and people in power on Wall Street are breathing a sigh of relief that he is dead.

Why was he taken off of suicide watch? That is the question that needs to be answered first and foremost. Someone made a very bad decision- whether they were influenced or not to do so remains to be seen.

If he was that intent on committing suicide- no one else needed to be involved. The simple act of getting him off suicide watch would have been more than enough.

Republican preacher Stephen White, who demanded a return to traditional values, was sentenced to jail after offering $20 to a 14-year-old boy for permission to perform oral sex on him.
Republican talk show host Jon Matthews pleaded guilty to exposing his genitals to an 11 year old girl. She could have turned away.
Republican anti-gay activist Earl “Butch” Kimmerling was sentenced to 40 years in prison for molesting an 8-year old girl after he attempted to stop a gay couple from adopting her. Liberal jury of course.
Republican Party leader Paul Ingram pleaded guilty to six counts of raping his daughters and served 14 years in federal prison. Now how could anyone rape their daughter 6 times! Can you say Liberal psycologist!
Republican election board official Kevin Coan was sentenced to two years probation for soliciting sex over the internet from a 14-year old girl. Obviously set up by a liberal computer hacker. These hackers no NO SHAME!
Republican politician Andrew Buhr was charged with two counts of first degree sodomy with a 13-year old boy.
Republican politician Keith Westmoreland was arrested on seven felony counts of lewd and lascivious exhibition to girls under the age of 16 (i.e. exposing himself to children). You see, actually he happened to be changing out of his bathing suit when these kids walked by.
Republican anti-abortion activist John Allen Burt was charged with sexual misconduct involving a 15-year old girl.
Republican County Councilman Keola Childs pleaded guilty to molesting a male child. He pleaded guilty only to keep his family out of the liberal media’s spotlight.
Republican activist John Butler was charged with criminal sexual assault on a teenage girl. She was eighTEEN. That’s still a teenager!
Republican candidate Richard Gardner admitted to molesting his two daughters. He only had their interests in mind. Why don’t you liberals see that!
Republican Councilman and former Marine Jack W. Gardner was convicted of molesting a 13-year old girl. No comment.
Republican benefactor of conservative Christian groups, Richard A. Dasen Sr., was charged with rape for allegedly paying a 15-year old girl for sex. Dasen, 62, who is married with grown children and several grandchildren, has allegedly told police that over the past decade he paid more than $1 million to have sex with a large number of young women. Philanthrapy at it’s finest!
Republican County Commissioner Merrill Robert Barter pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual contact and assault on a teenage boy. That boy was a liberal trying to corrupt his mind. He did the right thing.
Republican City Councilman Fred C. Smeltzer, Jr. pleaded no contest to raping a 15 year-old girl and served 6-months in prison. He did the honorable thing and did his time.
Republican activist Parker J. Bena pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography on his home computer and was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison and fined $18,000. Lies. Lies! All liberal lies!
Republican parole board officer and former Colorado state representative, Larry Jack Schwarz, was fired after child pornography was found in his possession. Obviously set up by that liberal media!

The other half the list being Democrats right?

Democrat Pedophiles and Sex Offenders Outnumber Repubs, many Dems re-elected.

REP. JOHN YOUNG (D-Tex.):
Colleen Gardner, a former staff secretary to Young, told the New York Times that Young increased her salary after she gave in to his sexual advances. In November, Young, who had run unopposed in the safe Democratic district five consecutive times, w More..as reelected with just 61 percent of the vote. The scandal wouldn’t go away, and in 1978 Young was defeated in a Democratic primary runoff.

REP. ALLAN HOWE (D-Utah):
Howe was arrested in Salt Lake City on charges of soliciting two policewomen posing as prostitutes. Howe insisted he was set up and refused to resign. But the Democratic Party distanced itself from his candidacy and he was trounced by his Republican opponent in the November election.

REP. FRED RICHMOND (D-N.Y.):
Richmond was arrested in Washington for soliciting sex from a 16-year-old boy. Richmond apologized for his actions, conceding he “made bad judgments involving my private life.” In spite of a Democratic primary opponent’s attempts to cash in on the headlines, Richmond easily won renomination and reelection. But his career came to an end four years later when, after pleading guilty to possession of marijuana and tax evasion – and amid allegations that he had his staff procure cocaine for him — he resigned his seat.

REP. JOHN HINSON (D-Miss.):
During his first reelection bid, Hinson stunned everyone by announcing that in 1976 he had been accused of committing an obscene act at a gay haunt in Virginia. Hinson, married and a strong conservative, added that in 1977 he had survived a fire in a gay D.C. movie theater. He was making the disclosure, he said, because he needed to clear his conscience. But he denied he was a homosexual and refused GOP demands that he resign. Hinson won reelection in a three-way race, with 39 percent of the vote. But three months later, he was arrested on charges of attempted oral sodomy in the restroom of a House office building. He resigned his seat on April 13, 1981.

REP. ROBERT BAUMAN (D-Md.):
Bauman, a leading “pro-family” conservative, pleaded innocent to a charge that he committed oral sodomy on a teenage boy in Washington. Married and the father of four, Bauman conceded that he had been an alcoholic but had been seeking treatment. The news came as a shock to voters of the rural, conservative district, and he lost to a Democrat in November.

REP. DAN CRANE (R-Ill.) and REP. GERRY STUDDS (D-Mass.):
The House ethics committee on July 14, 1983, announced that Crane and Studds had sexual relationships with teenage congressional pages — Crane with a 17-year-old female in 1980, Studds with a 17-year-old male in 1973. Both admitted the charges that same day, and Studds acknowledged he was gay. The committee voted to reprimand the two, but a back-bench Georgia Republican named Newt Gingrich argued that they should be expelled. The full House voted on July 20 instead to censure the two, the first time that ever happened for sexual misconduct. Crane, married and the father of six, was tearful in his apology to the House, while Studds refused to apologize. Crane’s conservative district voted him out in 1984, while the voters in Studds’s more liberal district were more forgiving. Studds won reelection in 1984 with 56 percent of the vote, and continued to win until he retired in 1996.

SEN. BROCK ADAMS (D-Wash.):
Seattle newspapers reported that Kari Tupper, the daughter of Adams’s longtime friends, filed a complaint against the Washington Democrat in July of 1987, charging sexual assault. She claimed she went to Adams’s house in March 1987 to get him to end a pattern of harassment, but that he drugged her and assaulted her. Adams denied any sexual assault, saying they only talked about her employment opportunities. Adams continued raising campaign funds and declared for a second term in February of 1992. But two weeks later the Seattle Times reported that eight other women were accusing Adams of sexual molestation over the past 20 years, describing a history of drugging and subsequent rape. Later that day, while still proclaiming his innocence, Adams ended his campaign.

REP. JIM BATES (D-Calif.):
Roll Call quoted former Bates aides in October 1988 saying that the San Diego Democrat made sexual advances toward female staffers. Bates called it a GOP-inspired smear campaign, but also apologized for anything he did that might have seemed inappropriate. The story came too close to Election Day to damage Bates, who won easily. However, the following October the ethics committee sent Bates a “letter of reproval” directing him to make a formal apology to the women who filed the complaint. Although the district was not thought to be hospitable to the GOP, Randy “Duke” Cunningham, a former Navy pilot who was once shot down over North Vietnam, ousted Bates in 1990 by fewer than 2,000 votes.

REP. GUS SAVAGE (D-Ill.):
Savage had fondled a Peace Corps volunteer while on an official visit to Zaire. Savage called the story a lie and blamed it on his political enemies and a racist media. (Savage is black.) In January 1990, the House ethics committee decided that the events did occur, but decided against any disciplinary action because Savage wrote a letter to the woman saying he “never intended to offend” her. Savage was reelected in 1990, but finally ousted in the 1992 primary by Mel Reynolds.

REP. BARNEY FRANK (D-Mass.):
In response to a story in the Washington Times, Frank confirmed that he hired Steve Gobie, a male prostitute, in 1985 to live with and work for him in his D.C. apartment. But Frank, who is gay, said he fired Gobie in 1987 when he learned he was using the apartment to run a prostitution service. The Boston Globe, among others, called on Frank to resign, but he refused. On July 19, 1990, the ethics committee recommended Frank be reprimanded because he “reflected discredit upon the House” by using his congressional office to fix 33 of Gobie’s parking tickets. Attempts to expel or censure Frank failed; instead the House voted 408-18 to reprimand him. The fury in Washington was not shared in Frank’s district, where he won reelection in 1990 with 66 percent of the vote, and has won by larger margins ever since.

SEN. DANIEL INOUYE (D-Hawaii):
In October 1992, Republican Senate nominee Rick Reed began running a campaign commercial that included a surreptitiously taped interview with Lenore Kwock, Inouye’s hairdresser. Kwock said Inouye had sexually forced himself on her in 1975 and continued a pattern of sexual harassment, even as Kwock continued to cut his hair over the years. Inouye, seeking a sixth term, denied the charges. And Kwock said that by running the commercial, Reed had caused her more pain than Inouye had. Reed was forced to pull the ad, and while many voters took out their anger on the Republican, Inouye was held to 57 percent of the vote – the lowest total of his career. A week later, a female Democratic state legislator announced that she had heard from nine other women who claimed Inouye had sexually harassed them over the past decade. But the women didn’t go public with their claims, the local press didn’t pursue the story, and the Senate Ethics Committee decided to drop the investigation because the accusers wouldn’t participate in an inquiry.

REP MEL REYNOLDS (D-Ill.):
Freshman Reynolds was indicted on Aug. 19, 1994, on charges of having sex with a 16-year-old campaign worker and then pressuring her to lie about it. Reynolds, who is black, denied the charges and said the investigation was racially motivated. The GOP belatedly put up a write-in candidate for November, but Reynolds dispatched him in the overwhelmingly Democratic district with little effort. Reynolds was convicted on Aug. 22, 1995 of 12 counts of sexual assault, obstruction of justice and solicitation of child pornography, was sentenced to five years in prison, and resigned his seat on October 1.

Let’s not forget:
John Wayne Gacy, rapist, murderer, democrat fund raiser
Michael Skakel, Kennedy, murderer
William Kennedy Smith, Kennedy, rapist
Brian Doyle, dem activist child molester
Neil Goldschmidt, Oregon governor, confessed child molester
Rep. Mel Reynolds, D-IL child rapist pardoned by clinton
The Kennedy Family Murder, Rapes
The Clinton Rapes
David Lettermans pedophile remarks about a 13 year old girl

You are posting discredited conspiracy theories.

Absurd Assumptions

The widely-circulated "Clinton Body Count" text insinuates that several dozen "friends" of the Clintons, some of whom conceivably possessed incriminating information about the former First Couple, died under "mysterious" circumstances—i.e., were secretly done away with.

In more ways than one, it's reminiscent of a similarly paranoid conspiracy theory floated during the Bush-hating 2000s, namely the notion that forces within the   Bush administration   secretly orchestrated the 9/11 terror attacks.

Both theories rest on absurd assumptions:

  1. That a U.S. president could secretly order the murders of dozens (or, in Bush's case on 9/11, thousands) of American citizens without being found out, ratted on, prosecuted, impeached, or even so much as accused of such crimes by members of Congress, including staunch political opponents.
  2. That a U.S. president could flawlessly carry out such crimes while demonstrating complete and utter fallibility (if not gross ineptitude) in the face of other, more mundane challenges (e.g., Clinton's inability to squelch accusations of sexual improprieties and avoid impeachment).

Why is it, we must also ask, that special prosecutor Kenneth Starr, who spent years and millions of taxpayer dollars attempting to dig up dirt of   any   kind on the Clintons, never handed down a single indictment pertaining to these alleged murders?

The answer is plain—because the accusations have no merit.

One of the reasons I belittle "conservatives" on internet forums is because some of them so incessantly promote idiotic conspiracies like the one that the Clintons have had dozens of people murdered.

I cannot imagine me (if I were in charge) authorizing the removal of suicide watch in this case.

Per the link you offered:

The authorities did not immediately explain why he was taken off suicide watch. The F.B.I. said it was investigating, and Attorney General William P. Barr said in a statement that a special inquiry would be opened into what happened. “I was appalled to learn that Jeffrey Epstein was found dead early this morning from an apparent suicide while in federal custody,” Mr. Barr said. “Mr. Epstein’s death raises serious questions that must be answered.”

Indeed General Barr.

As you may recall, Trump and Epstein are still defendants in the lawsuit against both of them.

These suits were withdrawn three times due to "Death Threats".256

That is the new business model, "Profit by any means", that has sweep the business culture for decades.

The model pushes the concept, that Trump subscribes to, the only thing that matters is the "Bottom Line".

People, employees, the environment, the Rule of Law are simply impediments to be overcome by smart people in a tear to get "filthy rich" by any means possible.

You left some things out.  You went from a Canadian millionaire to a Chinese emperor.

Seems to me, you are free with a loving wife in an environment that you find stimulating.   Being happy is ultimately what life is all about, right?

What did you mean by "Chinese Emperor"?

I was referring to a comment made by an NT member living in China who holds that his wife treats him as an emperor.  jrSmiley_82_smiley_image.gif

LOL. You KNOW that was me.  Besides all the things that I've said to describe her, where she really differs from North American women, is that North American women demand that their husbands put the toilet seat DOWN when they finish, whereas my wife, without being told, always puts the toilet seat UP when she's finished.

If he did commit suicide

You're not the first person I've seen who questioned that.

Of course I know it was you who said that.  jrSmiley_82_smiley_image.gif

I am kidding with you.

Well after a suicide attempt one would expect that the facility had the ability to disable suicide.   Especially suicide by hanging.

Couple that with the near certainty that Epstein had plenty of shit on very influential people, it is not too much of stretch that his death would be a convenient resolution.

What makes you think that Epstein's death had anything to do with either of those excuses?

Whatever the reason, the victims are more victimized than ever because of this. I truly hope there is evidence and others that can be brought to justice and that the evidence proves beyond any reasonable doubt what happened.
