Donald Trump Accuses Jews Who Vote Democrat of 'A Total Lack of Knowledge or Great Disloyalty'

President Donald Trump on Tuesday accused Jewish-Americans who vote for Democrats of showing "great disloyalty."

"Any Jewish people that vote for a Democrat — I think it shows either a total lack of knowledge or great disloyalty," Trump told reporters at the White House as he discussed a Monday press conference by Democratic Congresswomen Rashida Tlaib of Michigan and Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, in which they criticized Israeli leaders for barring them from entering the Mediterranean nation.

The congresswomen were joined by Jewish-American supporters during that press conference, during which they suggested that the U.S. Congress should consider cutting the billions of dollars in aid it regularly provides to Israel. Those comments were similar to remarks by 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont, who is also Jewish. He has repeatedly slammed the Israeli government decision to ban his colleagues, arguing that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should also decline aid money sent from Washington.

"Cutting off aid to Israel because of two people that hate Israel and hate Jewish people — I can't believe we're even having this conversation," Trump said on Tuesday from the Oval Office.

On Twitter, some of the president's critics were quick to suggest that the president's comments were anti-Semitic. "So about that dual loyalty trope..." Ben Rhodes, a political commentator who worked for the administration of President Barack Obama, tweeted, sharing the president's quote.

So about that dual loyalty trope...  https://t.co/CbEjrFvZuP

Rhodes was referencing a common anti-Semitic trope that claims Jewish-Americans have a dual loyalty to Israel and the U.S., suggesting that they would support the best interests of Israel over those of America. Trump's comment suggested that Jewish-Americans necessarily should have this kind of "dual-loyalty."

"This is an explicit dual loyalty charge wielded by the President of the United States against 80% of American Jews who voted against him. It is not mearly [ sic ] an antisemitic dog whistle — it's a bullhorn to his white nationalist base," the progressive Jewish-American group IfNotNow told  Newsweek  in a statement. "American Jews and Democratic voters know full well the impact of the racist policies of Netanyahu and the Israeli government on the Palestinian people. This is why an overwhelming majority to oppose those policies, like unchecked settlement expansion."

This explicit dual loyalty charge is not an antisemitic dog whistle — it's a bullhorn to his white nationalist base.

American Jewish leaders and Democratic politicians need to call out this out.

"The president just called around 75% of American Jews ignorant and/or disloyal, which IMO is straightforward antisemitism but if you're in the other 25% your mileage may vary," David Klion, news editor at Jewish Currents, tweeted.

Beth Miller, government affairs manager at Jewish Voice for Peace Action, told  Newsweek  in a statement that Trump's remark did not only "play into the antisemitic trope of Jews holding 'dual-loyalty,'" but was "also just wildly disconnected from reality."

"A rapidly growing number of American Jews support conditioning, cutting, or ending U.S. military aid to a country that uses our tax dollars to violently oppress Palestinians," Miller said.

Omar and Tlaib last week  were banned  from traveling to Israel on a previously approved trip, during which they intended to meet with Israeli and Palestinian groups. Both congresswomen, who are the first two Muslim women to serve in the legislative body, have been outspoken in their criticism of Israel, pointing to the documented human rights abuses that the U.S. ally has committed against Palestinians.

Tlaib, who is the child of Palestinian-American immigrants, has family, including her 90-year-old grandmother, living in the West Bank. The Palestinian territory is largely controlled by Israel with a degree of autonomy, and the only way to enter is by traveling through Israel.

Israel banned the representatives due to their support for the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) Movement, which calls for an economic and cultural boycott of Israel and its products until the country addresses human rights abuses against the Palestinians. Although Israeli leaders later decided that Tlaib could travel to the country to visit her elderly grandmother, she would have still been barred from criticizing the country or promoting BDS. As a result, she chose not to go.

Representatives Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) hold a news conference on August 19 in St. Paul, Minnesota  Adam Bettcher/Getty

"It was an agonizing and unjust position for Israel to demand that @RepRashida silence her political views as a condition of visiting her sitty in Palestine," the progressive American-Jewish organization Jewish Voice for Peace wrote on Twitter on Tuesday. "Instead, she chose freedom at the expense of seeing her grandmother knowing that her freedom gives her life."

Trump has repeatedly attacked the two congresswomen, who have been highly critical of him and his administration. The president has claimed that Tlaib and Omar hate Jews, when they actually work frequently with Jewish colleagues on various legislative initiatives and enjoy significant support from progressive American Jewish groups.

Despite Trump's belief that Jewish-Americans should not vote for Democrats, only a minority of the group identified as Republicans as of 2018, according to  data released by Gallup in March. Just 16 percent of Jewish-American respondents said they were Republican, while 52 percent identified as Democrats and 31 percent considered themselves to be independent. That survey also found that 71 percent of Jewish-Americans disapproved of Trump's leadership.

This article was updated with a statement from Jewish Voice for Peace.

If the socialist democrats keep letting these Jew hating Muslims have center stage representing the democrat party it is going to have repercussions. I don't see how anyone can see it as a benefit to Democrats in this presidential election.

It's possible that by letting them be, they will just continue hanging themselves and will bring the Democrat Party that is defending them down with them.  November 2020 will show the result of it.  No need to attack them - they are committing suicide without anyone's help.

Likening a few nutjobs' actions to endorsement by Trump or the GOP is another. I question that posters' sources because they have told him some real whoppers which he believes, no matter how wrong they have been proven to be.

I don't think he meant it that way. It was bad in many ways to speak about why American Jews vote as they do. They at least vote on issues. Uh, that is not well argued.  They are four congresspeople out of the 235 Democrats in Congress. So far they represent their districts. None of them is in a leadership position in the Congress. In fact, they all just got there.

They represent the Democratic Party in your imagination , and Trump's, because it suits your purposes to say so.

You're kidding, right?

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) will announce today his support for a bipartisan anti-BDS measure.

The Senate   resolution   (S.Res. 120), introduced by Senators Ben Cardin (D-MD) and Rob Portman (R-OH) expresses opposition to “efforts to delegitimize the State of Israel and the Global Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement targeting Israel.”

“I strongly support this resolution and firmly oppose the BDS movement targeting Israel. S.Res.120 is led by Senator Cardin and Senator Portman and I proudly join the bipartisan group of Senators and Representatives pushing for its passage,” Schumer told   Jewish Insider .

The measure, introduced to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in March, has at least 60 co-sponsors, including 24 Democrats. A companion in the House, led by Reps. Brad Schneider (D-IL) and Lee Zeldin (R-NY), has over 300 co-sponsors. That resolution is expected to come to the House floor for a vote sometime in the summer.

That was just last month. Mondoweiss was frothing at the mouth over this.

How about everyone cans the hyperbolic accusations and takes a breath?

There are many American Jews who oppose the hardline stance of the current Likud Party administration in Israel. Many believe that what is being done is harmful to Jews everywhere in the long run. That does not equal hating Jews. Then why should it necessarily be so for the only Muslim member of Congress? I think you all  need to dial it back some. Jews tend to come to the defense of anyone being marginalized, demonized and dehumanized because they have often been on the receiving end of such sentiments.

If it is fair to say that AOC "Hates Jews" is it fair to say you hate Muslims!

Did I say AOC? No I didn't. I said Omar and Tlaib. I am not happy about AOC stance on BDS but she has not said anything overtly anti Semitic. And where do you get off saying that I hate Muslims? When have I ever taken that POV? Never.

There are many American Jews who oppose the hardline stance of the current Likud Party administration in Israel. Many believe that what is being done is harmful to Jews everywhere in the long run. That doesnotequalhatingJews.

Yes, and I am not a fan of the Likud party either. That has nothing to do with past comments made by these two women.

Then why should it necessarily be so for the only Muslim member of Congress?

Because she has said awful things, that is why. Also, the BDS movement is about the destruction of Isreal. You should check out right of return.

Hate Jews?  That's absurd.

Really?

Omar wrote back, "It's all about the Benjamins baby," a line about $100 bills from a Puff Daddy song. Critics jumped on the tweet and said Omar was calling up a negative and harmful stereotype of Jewish Americans.

Then she apologized only to double down:

"I want to talk about the political influence in this country that says it is OK for people to push for allegiance to a foreign country. I want to ask why is it OK for me to talk about the influence of the NRA (National Rifle Association), of fossil fuel industries or Big Pharma, and not talk about a powerful lobbying group that is influencing policies?"

That is one of the oldest antisemitic tropes there is. Where Jews loyalties lie.

"Accusing Jews of harboring dual loyalty has a long, violent, sordid history," he said on MPR News' Morning Edition on Tuesday. "It's the standard fare of [then-Ku Klux Klan leader] David Duke. It's difficult and dangerous because it evokes the Jews as the malevolent other, conspiring against society."

And frankly, you and Jbb are feeding into exactly what the conservatives are saying here. That the Dems will look aside and make excuses for the inexcusable. I have been with you guys on this topic and Trump's remarks, but this is where we part ways. And honestly, if from the view of an independent, I am looking for the Dems to step up and say something to these bigots. You want to win the next election, take stock of your representatives and what they are doing to your party.

Except that I have never ever actually heard or read of either Tlaib or Omar expressing any personal hatred for Jews. I did read of a few maybe ill considered remarks regarding Israel and BDS which got blown way out of proportion and which I also read that they walked back and appologized for. If any of the 36 Jewish members of the US Congress was being demonized and dehumanized merely for advocating for Israel and for the Jewish People that would be wrong. It is also wrong that the only Muslim and the only Christian Palestinian in Congress are being unfairly demonized and dehumanized merely for advocating for their constituents. Should they not advocate for Muslim People when they are oppressed? Why should they necessarily not represent for the Palestinians? Again, if they are antisemitic then there is a hella lot of anti-Islamic hate going uncommented upon around here. Got Hypocrisy? The News Talkers Does...

If you want some examples of real antisemitism, of outright hate, then there are plenty lots tons of them out there to see. I really do believe that by falsely labeling Tlaib and Omar as the poster girls for antisemitism is not only unfair it is untruthful. Butt, go ahead and organize your lynch party. Because, after all, they deserve it! Trump says so anyway. Righto? "SHIP THEM BACK! SHIP THEM BACK! SHIP THEM BACK!"

I think one could make an argument that support for BDS is a form of anti-semitism. I dont think that criticism of the Israeli government or policy toward the Palestinians is anti-semitism in most cases.

Because the country of Israel is a Jewish state, the people and the government often become conflated which leads to many misunderstandings. However, a boycott of Israel is an existential threat and I think could be considered anti-semitic.

It is not OK to say as many remarks as they have and then walk it back. Do you accept that from Trump? I don't and neither should you. People say what they mean for the most part, and this last stunt with trying to go to Gaza was just another way of demonizing Israel. This has nothing to do with their color or faith, so please stop with that nonsense. This has to do with their actions and the fact that they want the attention. Don't make it sound like they are being picked on.. they crave this. And no one here has dehumanized them. Stop with the drama. They are your run of the mill bigots and that makes them quite human. If they cared so much about human rights, let them complain about the rest of the Muslim world. Omar would have been a zero in her home country because she is a woman. It was our country that gave her what she has today.

They can advocate for whatever they want and we as voters and as citizens of this country can criticize them. And you are correct, there are anti-Muslim sentiments here on NT, but no one here is a representative, so how is their hypocrisy?

At the end of the day, it is this attitude that has the possibility of having Trump win again.

Trump likes to play stupid, and that he does not understand. But, effectively, this dude is smart about his number 1 fan: Donald J. Trump.

Donald J. Trump will say and do any-thing to WIN for Donald J. Trump's POV. Including up to and touching, coming out and sitting before 'hot' cameras and pouting about being shortchanged by American Jews who can't appreciate his transactional record in Israel.

So Tuesday, Trump sits on his big-butt and tries to take it 'home' to American Jews, if only to get those fine folks thinking about a 'sympathy vote,' this time next fall.

A "slick confidence man" that lacks confidence...?

That needs pep rallies to boost his most obvious insecurities ??

I'll grant you, he has an uncanny knack at playing people, but i've found that ignorance ruling far too many, is in no way a statement declaring ones inteligence, for if he were truly intelligent, he would not of been talking about ANYTHING, but the economy during the 2018 elections, yet he chose to basically make that one of the only things he did not discuss.

IMO, he uses his non stop foot in mouth absurdities to the best of his, and so many others, disabilities.

.

The amount of BULL$HIT he blurts out, is far too much for most to even absorb, yet he does it consistently.

If i were Jewish, i'd be fckn offended by his statements, that either you're not able to comprehend(too stupid), or you are disloyal to Israel to vote Democratic.

Just my opinion, on a subject (The Jewish One) that i'm not fully yet up to speed about.

.

The problem i see, is this total abomination, who is still hung up upon the previous Obamanation (Only cause he knows his base, and it's Pavlov reactions) is still able to get away with SO DAMN MUCH, when he should have been impeached and remeoved from office immediately after Mueller's report was released, but NO, thanks to Barr and an ignorance to facts and reality, he is still here, causing disarray amongst us.

How a pathetic little excuse of a man, actually thought this through , as one who has caused so much friction,

Kan dull down the truth like a Slick 50 something or other, as a "slick confidence 'man", leaves one less confident about our country asz A whole, unless you are stating our country consists of too many asz A wholes, cause then,

we would be in total Agreement.

However, as the saying goes, "If you can't beat them - join them."

The Squad needs to hear from democrats who wish to help them with their messaging. If Trump wants to make them the face of something - then, they should give Trump many reasons to NOT WANT TO HEAR FROM THEM AGAIN.

Democrats should call The Squad offices and SUGGEST they start tweeting out critically selected sections of The Mueller Report and The Senate Report and The Epoch Times' propaganda purposes and outputting on behalf of the Trump Campaign, Moscow Mitch's 'money train," etceteras every time Trump  "lights" one or all of them up!

Do you accept that?

I live in NY and I can say a lot of things about our idiot mayor but he doesn't hate cops.

The NYC Police unions disagree:

"The largest union representing New York City police officers blasted Mayor   Bill de Blasio   (D), a frequent target, for his comments during Wednesday night’s Democratic debate about discussing how to avoid police run-ins with his African American son.

"Mayor de Blasio has apparently learned nothing over the past six years about the extremely damaging impact of anti-police rhetoric on both cops and the communities we serve,” Patrolmen's Benevolent Association of New York President   Patrick Lynch   said in a statement."

And NYC doesn't have camp cities.

Maybe not, only because de Blasio hasn't yet implemented California's rights for degenerates. The city has changed. I used to go to NYC, no longer! Saratoga is now my only NY stop.

And for the record, Austin has them, too.

Austin being Texas lone liberal bastion. Take a look at what Republicans did for the great city of Houston!

Nothing has changed in the city since the last two administrations and you have no reason to say that de Blasio wants tent cities since they are still rounding up the homeless as they have for the last 20 some odd years. Sorry, but our city is just as clean and safe, so that is just your perception. This has been my home my whole life (except when living in London), so I remember when the city was truly bad. Now it is an amazing city that even impressed Larry Hampton and his wife who come from a small town in Minnesota as being friendly and beautiful.

Austin being Texas lone liberal bastion. Take a look at what Republicans did for the great city of Houston!

That is not true. El Paso, Dallas, San Antonio and the Rio Grande Valley are all democratic. Houston is 50/50 and you seem to forget the influx of northerners coming in which means it will only change more.

I go by the laws of the Unites States. Investigations require a criminal predicate. We are not supposed to investigate citizens in search of a crime, nor are we to spy on American citizens, nor opposing political campaigns.

You call directly quoting the idiotic things Trump says to be distorting the news?

Congress gets to investigate many things. I think you are now seeing how much strength those Congressional investigations have. And when the Republicans ran them they didn't even seek to back up those subpoenas as the democrats are. Kind of frustrating aren't they?

Ya, there is nothing like an all powerful Special Counsel investigation, which has all the power & money of the US government. Btw, we do have a US Attorney investigation going on - it is investigating the rouge agencies that did the fraudulent investigations!

Proof? There's no proof that Clinton's emails were discussed. Do I think it's likely that they were? Actually, I do.

However, I think meeting with our enemies is far worse.

And then Barr tried to spin the Mueller report, and pretend that it didn't outline several clear instances of Trump trying to obstruct justice. You claim to hate corruption - that was certainly corrupt; Barr is completely loyal to Trump instead of to his country. He think's he's Trump's personal lawyer, which is why Trump hired him in the first place. How is that OK while what Lynch did isn't?

He couldn't make people lie so he wrote a bunch of nonsesne on Trump collusion and waited for the democrats to win the House to hand it to them. Too bad the impeachment is going nowhere. This dude is smart about his number 1 fan: Donald J. Trump. That is what I mean and it is what I truly believe. The fact is, I have experienced at least one person with the personality of Trump. (He is still the same today after 30 years - when I check in on him. So, . . . .)

Trump hires and partners with people for the sole mission of protecting Donald J. Trump. See: Giuliani, Barr, Trump TV, Trump cabinet, striking up private international relations with leaders holding "dictatorial" authority so they can aid Trump with no one to utter nay, et ceteras. Trump is the Sun and everyone he knows 'orbit' him.

Over Donald's long life, he has gotten good at picking out the winners for him and keeps a file on each of them so if they turn on him he can mock and deny each one in its turn.

Any one of our democrat candidates who is successful at coming up against Donald Trump has to understand that any information Donald has compiled on him or her; any thing that Donald can get through hook or crook to hang on 'em, any embarrassing dirty old, forgotten, processed already —laundry - it will be made new, "rememberable," and re-processed in the upcoming general election.

So democrats should consider long and hard challenging this asinine person for he is the personification of Machiavellian politics on steroids!

The amount of BULL$HIT he blurts out, is far too much for most to even absorb, yet he does it consistently.

You are hitting upon something here. Trump must be getting physically and mentally tired by now. Look for the signs of fatigue in his 'field of play.'

Otherwise, if he is the type who reserves all his waking strength for the game itself --All DEMOCRATS should stay sharp! "Float like a butterfly, and sting like a BEE." (Muhammad Ali.)

Because Trump is playing 'hardball politics,' as a strategy right this minute. He will accept any kind of victory he can declare. After achieving that "righteous" or "diabolical" victory - he plans to unleash a torrent of lawyers to flood the field of play and the zone. And, while everyone is watching what the lawyers do, The Trumps and Pences will prepare for a second "coronation."

Watch out - Democrat players. Play the Long Game!

Trump isn't subject to rules of the House. He is the President. As far he goes, you have 5 major news outlets calling him a "racist" 24-7 for three years. What more do you want?

What more do you want........................................................................................................................................................................................?

Well for starters, how about Trump stop being a racist.

And while he's at it, how about condemning racists, and the idealology he has surplanted into weak minds ?

How about non incentivising the White uprising by peoples who want an actual NOUN, to excuse why their lives aren't as swell as just a generation prior, due to Trump being Richard, some Dick, just Pryor to freeing his Base, who R worthy of like Richard Pryor,  self combustion. One who has found a way to sway persons, whom obviously lack critical thinking  skills, do not realize who the damn backers of this POS are, and have been taken for a long damn ride around the truth, SHOULD NOT get any damn PASS

How can people bypass the reality directly in front of them...

How can so many willingly look away as he violates about every, any,  and all the DAMN PRINCIPLES the United States of America was founded upon ?

WTF people ???   I see so many on the 'Right' try and normalize one who CAN"T be Normalized,   EVER !

.

What was it 27 FCKN people arrested in the past week or so, all with mass shooting aspirations ?

How this CANNOT BE DIRECTLY CORRELATED back to and with Trump, and his racist Rhetoric, is cult like in the defensive devotion, to a piece of White Trash, and should be found Disturbing, as it SHOULD BE,

FOUND DISTURBING !

WTF America, look at his agenda,

Divide America

Patronize and praise Dictators

Bash our NATO Allies with almost all lies

Circumvent our  balance of Powers Protections

LIE constantly about Elections

Along with  MOST N E & Everything ELSE

ETC> < ETC> <

So far, HE has proven to be the only election fraud.

The 'right' have wronged US ALL, for immediate gains, unbelievably modest and small, in the larger picture of this country, for it should, all, appall.

Trump has taken this BULLSHIT BEHAVIOR FAR FURTHER THAN ANYONE CAN EVER BE ALLOWED

.

The 'man' is not properly fine tuned in the mind.

The President of this Country, is the one Peoples look for , so as to bring US together, and he does the opposite, and the GOP is a sack of gutless Pussies for not calling out this VIOLATION,

of a DAMN NATION

.

THE MUELLER REPORT FOUND NOTHING  ?????

I see recited daily by members that post here...

Who, that has read this report, could possibly claim NOTHING was found ?   Cause that is an outright FALSEHOOD.

Or in Trump's case , just another one to add to his 12,000 LIES and increasing daily.

.

You're more worried about winning a self imposed suspension from this FCKN site, than the LIVES and wellbeing of our DAMN COUNTRY.

I would gladly permanently suspend myself, than have Trump further tear this country the frick apart !

LOOK AT WTF YOU ARE EVEN COMPARING...?

I would wish for the TRUTH to be PRESENTED TRUTHFULLY,

Donald does not connect the transaction. He is only interesting in what he has done in Israel with Netanyahu on Israel's behalf (likely per some private discussion on what it will take to cause the American Jewish voters t forsake the Democratic Party).  Listen! Donald is quite good at being diabolical and deceitful. Watch and "See the Man"!

Whatever Donald thought would happen for him which did not manifest in early polling. Now he is hauling out 'Step 2' thing: Come out in public, with cameras rolling and 'hot,' and beg for American Jews (even a small percentage) to straight up leave the Democratic Party and its policies. He is publicly 'pouting' in earshot of the cameras, because he feels the Netanyahu "transaction" did not yield him a fair return.

Trump ain't too proud to beg - you can see it if you know, learn, what to look for! He will take any American Jews votes he can by saying anything he needs to! Watch Out! It's all transactional with this guy!

While Bibi and a few those like him are willing to sell their souls to the Devil for Trumps 'Divine" blessing, the large majority of the Jewish people are not buying into his BS.

Although Trump is eating up the presumption that the people of Israel think he is the second coming of God,

Less than a day after President Donald Trump  outraged many members of the Jewish community  for his comments about their loyalty, he tweeted out the claim that Israeli Jews view him as the "second coming of God."

In a series of tweets Wednesday morning, Mr. Trump quoted conservative radio host and known conspiracy theorist Wayne Allyn Root , who practically declared the president the Messiah during his show Tuesday night.

Quoting Root's tweet, Mr. Trump shared the message that he is "the greatest President for Jews and for Israel in the history of the world," that "the Jewish people in Israel love him like he's the King of Israel" and even that "They love him like he is the second coming of God."

The majority of Jewish people here in America, Israel and around the world know Trump is more the Right Hand of the Devil than anything close to God, there are some, like in all types of people, who will gladly buy such lies.

And some will only buy into it because of the simple fact that Trump now has a R in front of his name instead of a D.

True. Trump would be funny if he was not so serious. Sadly, I am starting to get a picture in my mind that Donald J. Trump has never encountered a version of himself that he would like to change.

Here's something I learnt as of today: The Leader of Denmark called a plan of Trump's ,"Absurd."

Did you see it?  It hurt Donald's feelings. Donald "Greenland" Trump. Has a nice ring to it.

Where is that online viral maker when we need it? Get that to the media, folks! Denmark 'broke' Donald's face!

Denmark embarrassed the world's most arrogant man. Old for shame. The world premier real estate deal-maker is failing at getting the deal in to the starting block, "bigly"!

Obviously you could use a lesson about the Holocaust, even if you are not a denier of it anyway.

When I was a little kid during WWII, I learned the song that the desperate concentration camp prisoners used to sing.  They sang it in Yiddish, which was the language mostly used by the Jews of Europe. In Yiddish, the title was (and Enoch can correct me if I'm not accurate) "Vee Ahind Zolech Gayen?", translated as "Where Can I Go?"

Tell me where can I go?
There's no place I can see
Where to go, where to go
Every door is closed to me
To the left to the right
It's the same in every land
There is no place to go
And it's me who should know
Won't you please understand?

Throughout the centuries, throughout the millenia, Jews have been persecuted.  Unfortunately the progressive American Jews of today have forgotten that many times over the millenia there has been no place for them to go where there would be safe.  Today, the "progressive" Jews of America have FORGOTTEN the lessons learned from the Holocaust, and from their own history.  As Santayana said: Those who ignore history are bound to repeat it."

Example:  The S.S. St. Louis.

Example:  The British turning away Jewish Holocaust refugees from Israel because Arab oil was more important to them than Jews' well-being.

Example:  The Jews whose ancestors had lived there for centuries being forced out of Arab countries - as many as the ORIGINAL (and in my opinion ONLY GENUINE) Arab refugees from Israel.

NEVER FORGET.     NEVER FORGET.     NEVER FORGET.

You say its a proven lie but can't prove it, meantime the entire world knows what Trump said about neo-nazis and white supremacists because we heard him say it.   When Trump tickles his base, he purposefully provokes the racists with his words. They hear him loud and clear.

Neo-Nazi Andrew Anglin was apparently thrilled by the tweets, posting on his popular Daily Stormer website: “Man, President Trump’s Twitter account has been pure fire lately. This might be the funniest thing he’s ever tweeted. This is the kind of WHITE NATIONALISM we elected him for. And we’re obviously seeing it only because there’s another election coming up. But I’ll tell you, even knowing that, it still feels so good.”

Anglin also emphasized the political implications of Mr. Trump telling people of color to “go back” to their countries: “This is what elected Trump and this is what will always be the best way for him to gain support,” and underscored the importance of these comments being directed at U.S. citizens, particularly Rep. Pressley, who was born in Cincinnati: “So this is not some half-assed anti-immigrant white nationalism. Trump is literally telling American blacks to go back to Africa.”

Meanwhile, alt right figurehead   Richard Spencer   acknowledged the appeal of the President’s tweets to a range of alt right activists, but also appeared to warn that Trump was bound to disappoint white supremacists (again).

Be damn glad you were safe and sound watching newsreels of what was going on there.

The news of the atrocities of the Holocaust weren't shown until after Germany surrendered. People may have been watching newsreels during WWII but they didn't know anything about the Holocaust until much later.

There are several videos available on Amazon Prime that show the liberation of the camps. The narrator in the one about the liberation of Bergen-Belsen even states that the footage was the first ever to come out of Germany. That's when the Allies realized what had been going on. There were plenty of rumors but it wasn't proven until the camps were actually liberated.

From my seeded article about the 'president's' latest rant and lies against Talib

“American Jews see through Trump’s lies,” Emily Mayer, IfNotNow’s spokeswoman, said in a statement to Yahoo News. “We watched as his 2016 campaign regularly used anti-Semitic tropes and inspired the rise of white nationalism. We’re still watching as he spews anti-Semitic and anti-immigrant rhetoric from the Oval Office, inspiring mass violence — and putting so many Americans, including our community, in real danger.

“Rashida has been one of the strongest allies of the Jewish people,” Mayer added. “Trump is once again cynically weaponizing our community’s pain to brush aside legitimate criticism of Israel’s human rights violations.”

As we all know, the shooter at the Pittsburgh synagogue wrote that he was motivated to kill by Jews assistance to and approval of immigrants from the south of the border.  Those Jews , in the shooters mind for sure, were all "liberals" or "progressives". When the president of the United States says something that questions the loyalty of American Jews it can only feed into the deranged mindset of people like the Pittsburgh killer, people who are already prone to accepting hate filled ideas from the right.

Trump is extremely reckless to say such things. Just in the past week authorities have disrupted murderous intentions on the part of a few anti-semite white nationalists.

I find it rather sad that Trump supporters will give this inept President so much latitude when he makes clearly offensive statements, but attacked our last President mercilessly if he ever made any comment that even hinted at being offensive. After Obama said "They get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations." there weren't any conservatives saying "Well, the President could have used different words...". Nope, it was war even though Obama certainly wasn't intending to be offensive as our current President definitely is by calling any Jews who vote Democrat "disloyal" traitors to Israel and the US.

The three freshman congresswomen do not represent the Democrat party, they represent their own districts and those who voted for them. I've never voted for any of them and neither have millions of other Democrat voters. We will see if they stick around for long as several have stuck their feet in their mouths repeating old anti-Semitic tropes. But they definitely do NOT represent the Democrat party, that is simply a massive stinking lie put forth by the king of falsehoods, dishonest dumb-shit Donald.

WHY should Israel be held to a different standard?

It's a false equivalency to compare the Israelis to the Arabs or the Palestinians in particular. Historical modernity matters in this instance. There are quite a few modern  'Western' nations, most from the former Soviet Union, that we could compare to Isreal and they fall far short of the acceptance that Israel has moved toward. Bullshit.

Nope--it actually IS one part of the definition.

International Definition of Antisemitism
Antisemitism is a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews. Rhetorical and physical manifestations of antisemitism are directed toward Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and/or their property, toward Jewish community institutions and religious facilities.
Manifestations might include the targeting of the State of Israel, conceived as a Jewish collectivity. However, criticism of Israel similar to that levelled against any other country cannot be regarded as antisemitic. Antisemitism frequently charges Jews with conspiring to harm humanity, and it is often used to blame Jews for “why things go wrong.” It is expressed in speech, writing, visual forms and action, and employs sinister stereotypes and negative character traits.
Contemporary examples of antisemitism in public life, the media, schools, the workplace, and in the religious sphere could, taking into account the overall context, include, but are not limited to:
Calling for, aiding, or justifying the killing or harming of Jews in the name of a radical ideology or an extremist view of religion.
Making mendacious, dehumanising, demonising, or stereotypical allegations about Jews as such or the power of Jews as collective — such as, especially but not exclusively, the myth about a world Jewish conspiracy or of Jews controlling the media, economy, government or other societal institutions.
Accusing Jews as a people of being responsible for real or imagined wrongdoing committed by a single Jewish person or group, or even for acts committed by non-Jews.
Denying the fact, scope, mechanisms (e.g. gas chambers) or intentionality of the genocide of the Jewish people at the hands of National Socialist Germany and its supporters and accomplices during World War II (the Holocaust).
Accusing the Jews as a people, or Israel as a state, of inventing or exaggerating the Holocaust.
Accusing Jewish citizens of being more loyal to Israel, or to the alleged priorities of Jews worldwide, than to the interests of their own nations.
Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination (e.g. by claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavour).
Applying double standards by requiring of Israel a behaviour not expected or demanded of any other democratic nation.
Using the symbols and images associated with classic antisemitism (e.g. claims of Jews killing Jesus or blood libel) to characterise Israel or Israelis.
Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.
Holding Jews collectively responsible for actions of the s

Then why has Trumps approval ratings been stuck between 39-44%? He's never ever broken the 50% approval polling average and even the FOX polls show him losing to most of the Democrat front runners by double digits. He might have 75% of the old Republican party in his pocket, but its just patently false to claim he has 75% of Americans support, that's a laughable lie. The vast majority of Jewish Americans, black Americans, Muslim Americans, Native Americans, and virtually every other minority along with about half of the white American population, vote Democrat. 10 million more votes were cast for Democrats than for Republicans in 2018, it wasn't even close. Trump is a monumental loser who pretends all of his losses are actually wins and many of his half wit supporters are so fricking gullible and ill-informed they believe him. If they're not gullible, they likely fall into two categories, those who don't care that Trumps a bigot and loser, they just want their tax cuts, or those in the large group of white nationalists, white supremacists, KKK members and wannabe Nazis who support him because they believe Trump embodies and supports their vile supremacist ideology.

Then why has Trumps approval ratings been stuck between 39-44%?

Do you believe that?

He's never ever broken the 50% approval polling average and even the FOX polls show him losing to most of the Democrat front runners by double digits

Then you have no worries, right? You hang onto that thought.

The vast majority of Jewish Americans, black Americans, Muslim Americans, Native Americans, and virtually every other minority along with about half of the white American population, vote Democrat.

I say your'e wrong on that. You may have convinced those groups to vote for you, but Obama & Hillary and just about every democratic presidential candidate has driven the "half the white population" you refer to away!  They got it now! You won't get the minimum of 39% white vote you need to win!  That is the 75% I was talking about - white voters! The voters your party called "clingers" & "deplorables!" They are threw being the foil for democrats to convince every "other" to get in line and vote for your horrid policies. The democratic party has shown nothing but contempt for the American people, even it's base, which it obviously thinks is stupid! They are done!

We are the American people. America is a diverse thriving nation of immigrants and we are growing more diverse every year and the white supremacist fuck wads will never stop that from happening no matter how much they gnash their teeth or shoot up synagogues, El Paso Walmart's or black Churches.

Millions more vote Democrat than Republican, it's just a fact. 3 million more voted Democrat than Republican in 2016 and 10 million more voted Democrat in 2018. Trump won the electoral vote by just 110,000 total votes spread out over three States. And if you imagine that 61% of the white population makes up 75% of voters, well, I don't think they have a cure for that kind of insanity.

I'm sure all the white nationalists and worthless piece of shit KKK members and tiki torch Nazis are praying to their savior Vladimir Putin to rescue their Fuehrer in the upcoming election, but it won't help this time. The Russian active measures deployed against us in 2016 will not be successful in 2020 no matter how much the white nationalists re-tweet the Russian bots bullshit memes and pile of lies.

I am going to agree with that. However, I wish to point out that racism has definite roots and activities associated with it. Usually with someone ending up emotionally and/or physically harmed at the end of it. Today, conservatives are attempting to neutralize and "empty out" the word itself of its obscene content. I will not be a party to it. When I see a bigot or racists - no matter who it is - I will tell that one they stink of racism.

It is plainly true that all racists and racism is not created equal! Right about now, we need to get rid of the politically active racists (no matter who they are once they are discerned) in our midst!

Shame is what everyone else has. Trumps ego and sense of Godliness will not allow him to feel such a lowly human emotion as shame. And that is mainly because he does not think he does anything that he should feel ashamed of.

Trump will never admit to any wrong doing, no matter how much he is proven guilty of anything. It is always someone else's fault and they should take the blame for it.

Besides, how can 'God' be guilty of anything? Right?  ??

MUELLER REPORT
APPENDIX C
INTRODUCTORY NOTE

The President provided written responses through his personal counsel to questions submitted to him by the Special Counsel 's Office. We first explain the process that led to the submission of written questions and then attach the President ' s responses.

Beginning in Dec ember 2017, this Office sought for more than a year to interview the President on topics relevant to both Russian-election interference and obstruction-of-justice . We advised counsel that the President was a "subject" of the investigation unde r the definition of the Justice Manual -" a person whose conduct is within the scope of the grand jury's investigation. " Justice Manual § 9-11.151 (2018).

We also advised counsel that"[ a]n interview with the President is vital to our investigation" and that this Office had "carefull y considered the con st itutional and other arguments raised by . .. counsel, and they d[id] not provide us with reason to forgo seeking an interview ." 1

We additionally stated that "it is in the interest of the Presidency and the public for an interview to take place" and offered "numerous accommodations to aid the Pr esident 's preparation and avoid surprise." 2

After extensive discussions with the Department of Justice about the Special Counsel's objective of securing the President's testimon y, thes e accommodations included the submissions of written questions to the Presid ent on certain Russia-related topics. 3 We received the President's written responses in late November 2018 . 4

In December 2018 , we informed counsel of the insufficiency of those responses in several respect s. 5 We noted, among other things , that the President stated on more than 30 occasions that he "does not 're call ' or 'remember ' or have an ' independent recollection"' of information called for by the questions. 6 Other answers were "incomplete or impreci se." 7 The written responses , we inform ed counsel, " demonstrate the inadequacy of the written format , as we hav e had no opportunity to ask follow up questions that would ensure complete answers and potentially refresh your client 's recolle ct ion or clarify the extent or nature of his lack of recollection." 8

We again requested an in-person interview , limited to certain topics , advising the President 's counsel that "[t]his is the President 's o pportunity to voluntarily provide us with information for us to evaluate in the context of all of the evidence we have gathered." 9

The President declined .

Recognizing that the President would not be interviewed voluntarily, we considered whether to issue a subpoena for his testimony.

We viewed the written answers to be inadequate .

But at that point, our investigation had made significant progress and had produced substantial evidence for our report. We thus weighed the costs of potentially lengthy constitutional litigation , with resulting delay in finishing our investigation , against the anticipated benefits for our investigation and report. As explained in Volume II , Section H.B., we determined that the substantial quantity of information we had obtained from other sources allowed us to draw relevant factual conclusions on intent and credibility , which are often inferred from circumstantial evidence and assessed without direct testimony from the subject of the investigation.

SOURCE: Pages C-1 through C-2

For a period spanning two years, the Special Counsel tried to get the "Defendant-in-Chief" to respond to a request for an interview and finally a request for written responses. Only to have the interview declined and (after a considerable delay) the Special Counsel Written Questionnaire determined inadequate due to "I don't recall" statements; imcomplete and imprecise responses- with no allowance in this type of format for follow.

“I write the answers.” Trump told reporters six months ago. “My lawyers don’t write answers, I write answers. I was asked a series of questions. I have answered them very easily. Very easily…. The questions were very routinely answered by me. By me. Okay?”

As it turns out, the Republican answered the questions “very easily” because it doesn’t take a lot of effort to skip over difficult lines of inquiry, while writing, “I don’t remember” in response to the others.

Trump has bragged more than once that he has “one of the great memories of all time” I’m starting to think that might not be altogether true.

Read it and analyze it. "Just the facts" won't change if you dare read @10.4.16 or not read it.

The Special Counsel's Appendix C begs the question: The president was given presidential level treatment not afforded to any others under the law to present adequate, precise, and complete written answers to the Special Counsel questions and said "Defendant-in-Chief" BS-ed in the manner a yellow-bellied coward would.

I hate deliberate liars. I have told you this many times already. Donald Trump lies by commission and omission. You participate in both, when you falsely accuse others sharing the truth directly with you, and you get up from the research and label such sharing "hate-filled." Who is really responding with insincerity here? You be the judge.

There is no justifiable excuse for deflection anymore. Therefore, deflection is UNACCEPTABLE.

Simply put, I can understand why he might feel that Jewish people might abandon the Democrat party over their failure to call out a congresswoman who clearly made anti-Semitic statements...since this same congresswoman is now wanting to cut aide to Israel. Trump is trying to make Omar and Tlaib the face of the Dems...and many Dems are either silent, or calling out Trump...but he went too far.

Instead, he should have offered support to anyone of the Jewish faith who still feels slighted over the anti-Semitic words/actions of some members of Congress.

BDS, which stands for "Boycott, Divest and Sanction", is an international  political movement fashioned after the international efforts which were successfully brought to bear against the Apartheid System in South Africa which are intended to incentivize Israel to conform with international human rights conventions and to try and force Israel to, again, address The Palestinian Issue. There are many, including some US Jews, who believe that making progress in this regard is in the best interests of everyone including Israel and Jewish people everywhere.

Of the 36 Jewish members of the US Congress Only two are in the gop. None of the nine Jewish members of the US Senate are in the gop. Chuck Schumer and Diane Feinstein, the Democratic Leaders of the US Senate, are Jewish. 72% of Jewish votes cast in 2016 were for Democrats but that number rose to 83% in the 2018 midterm elections primarily due to Trump's tacit support for White Nationalists.

Currently in America we are suffering a plague of mass atrocities committed by homegrown rightwing white nationalist domestic terrorists. People do not feel safe at the mall or even at their churches, mosques and synagogues. American Nazis are marching in our streets actually shouting violent antisemitic slogans and our president says that there are very many good people among them.

As you know, American Jews can think for themselves and they mostly feel that BDS IS ONLY ONE OF MANY ISSUES. All the hyperbolic bullshit we see regarding BDS does not, um, trump all other political considerations as some would have us believe...

I have a feeling that Trump is fueling this fire and loving every minute of it.

Agree. He is stirring the WH outhouse and enjoying every moment of the feces smell he is producing and laughing his head off at the reaction of both sides.

What he does not seem to realize is that all that feces can easily come back and smack him in the face. And.....if history is is a lesson well served, it will do just that.

However, as usual....Trump will blame it on someone else.

He is. It is what he does. Trump's twitter feed 'pours' the gasoline for his tongue to ignite. He scratches his feeds itching ears on a daily basis. The worse thing the news media could do to Donald Trump is not allow him to be "ON" all the time.

Have you observed that no reporter has to find Donald "Greenland" Trump; he is not scarce or camera shy!

'For 3 years they told us the President of the United States conspired with Russia.'

That's the truth.

Are you sure you want to say that here in front of everybody?

I will, because he did.   We can all read about his connections to Russians throughout his campaign and into his presidency.  He may not be indicted, but he absolutely did cooperate with them and they did work to get Trump elected.  Still working to help him out.  That is the truth.  His entire campaign had connections to Russians.
