White House Official Says It Was Trump Himself Who Altered the Hurricane Dorian Map With a Sharpie
It was Trump himself who drew on the map, extending the range of the storm’s impact to include a teensy-weensy tip of Alabama...

At this point, it’s almost like President Donald Trump wishes Hurricane Dorian had hit Alabama. The president of the United States, of course, made multiple erroneous claims about the trajectory of the storm as it inched toward the U.S. But Trump makes stuff up all the time. Everyone would have likely moved on, if it hadn’t been for the president’s oafish attempt to prove that he was right all along with an outdated, doctored map of the storm’s path.

Does it matter that the president got it wrong? Yes. Could he have admitted it was a mistake and everyone would have moved on? Yes. Does it matter that he’s now engaged in the most ludicrous, inane cover-up imaginable? Yes. There are many disturbing parts to this, the latest chapter of Life Under Trump, but the perhaps most unsettling part is Trump’s ability to break down the reality of an event and then reconstruct it using the various apparatuses of state power and information. It’s almost like China, just in China the line including Alabama wouldn’t have been drawn in marker.

The president wouldn’t let it go, so the press wouldn’t let it go, and here we are with the Washington Post  reporting  it was Trump himself who drew on the map, extending the range of the storm’s impact to include a teensy-weensy tip of Alabama.

Speaking of won't let it go . . .

I guess it doesn't occur to the media who keep covering this non-story or even the people at NT who keep seeding the articles that they aren't "letting it go."

Sharpies?  What ever.  The 'dude president' has Wiles the christian thing and Putin the Russian thing betting the barn on him.

Hint:  Its a 'suckers bet.'  Trump's money is a tad bit dirty.  Ivanka for pole dancer.

Well! It might be almost like that . . . if that made any fuckin' sense at all.

I swear, does it even matter to people how stupid their theories sound? (checks link . . . ) Oh wait, it's Slate. Par for the course, then. Wow.

Another fucking unnamed White House source?  I swear the media would have us believe that there are more people in the White House turning information on Trump, than people working in the House.  Of course it doesn't help when one article refers back to another article using an unnamed source- like this one does.  As if naming the article and using it for background gives it relevance and credibility.

Until they supply a name for the source, it is another piece of media bullshit. It can be filed with the media jumping on the Steele Dossier band wagon in the circular bin.

Considering how Trump treats those who he perceives as wronging him and he will go full on attack mode.  He will make their lives and possibly the families a nightmare.  Can you blame sources for wanting to be unnamed?
