Sweden Declares The Word T R U M P to be offensive

It is a little more complicated than the title suggests, but not much. A man applied for a vanity license plate in Sweden , which he wanted to read TRUMP, but the government agency that dispenses the auto license plates rejected the application, declaring the word "offensive".

I dont recall the words OBAMA , BUSH, CLINTON, or REAGAN being banned from license plates around the world, but there is a first time for everything, especially with Trump.

I know - the dumbass liars ... Trump still sometimes claims his grandfather is Swedish. I think he is incapable of telling the truth, even when the truth doesn't make him look bad.

A better headline would be Sweden’s tyrannical government strips citizens of their freedom.

Sweden probably doesn't have a First Amendment like the US does.

Do you think our state governments are tyrannical? They also have rules about what can be put on custom license plates.

Yes I do for many reasons. Arresting people for choosing to use marijuana as medicine is one of them.

I don't know about states other than mine, but our DMV won't allow certain personalized plates either.  I found that out when I tried to get one that read FUBAR.

Sounds about right for a government bureaucrat.

Yep, there is a reason their approval rating in the US is in the teens.

That includes both parties.

I had a sports car with a personalized plate that i was surprised made the cut.   It was "CNS HIT"   Now most people read that as "seeing shit" which was fine with me but it really was a SCUBA reference for oxygen toxicity or Central Nervous System Hit.

This can happen if the mix you're breathing at depth exceeds a certain partial pressure limit.   The gal at the Secretary State said she couldn't believe they allowed it as they're really picky in Michigan as well.

Hopefully you have never experienced it.  The cleverest plate I have seen was 2TH DR.  It belonged to a dentist.  I asked my father to order me a plate...3S N 8S which is trucker lingo for hugs and kisses.  What I ended up with was 3S N 85 which made no sense at all.

Fortunately i haven't but I've always been very conservative with my mixes, making sure i had plenty of room on my max ppO

One of the cleverest  plates i've seen was on one of those original Ford Bronco's.   It was:

PRE OJ

i get my mixes from youtube, cause others can make my blood boil with bubbles, and bubbles ain't always the party girl from daze of yore, as sometimes she cuts like a jabbing knife into an X wife beater T shirt du jour , like a Souper X Super heroe

sandwich for Earl, while shucks, is an oyster in need of a pearl

neckless, like a caref for a giraffe, without a scarf to match her lighter sweater,

while she looks hot, with so many damn hickies , all while living in plane sight, in arresting urban developments

with develop mental disabilities

Thx i will, don't do the crazy Tech diving i used to do anymore.   That's more or less a young mans game.

Most danger i'm in now is from Jet Ski's who think a dive flag is a turning buoy.

Nimrods are constantly buzzing our dive flags.

Those people are idiots for putting you and other divers in danger.  Maybe someone in a spotter boat could catch them on video.  Then turn the images over to the appropriate authority for prosecution.

There is an endless supply of nimrods out there.

I always give them a chance, try to educate them about the dangers but most insist they know better.   I'm on a first name basis with our local water patrol officers and have lost count of the number of reports made and tickets initiated over the years.   Most of them when i was teaching.   We've had some close calls but luckily no one has been hit on my watch.

They learn how serious it is after they get their $200+ careless operation/civil infraction coupon.

Some people will never learn though ......
