"Religious Leader" Does Nauseating Faux "Praying" Over Trump At Right Wing Conference
The applicable part of this video is the first 2 minutes 30 seconds. A conservative preacher named Andrew Brunson lays hands on Trump at the recent Values Voters Summit in Washington DC and prays that Trump be able to know who to trust to be protected from his enemies.

Travesty to religion, travesty to Christianity, travesty to America.
This pastor was right to lay hands on the President. The pastor is supposed to do that in prayer especially intercessory prayer for an individual over a given issue. For the record this pastor was a political prisoner in Turkey for a couple of years before Trump got him out to resume his life here with his family.
For the record, Trump has never behaved like a Christian in his life.
Watching these ministers fawn over the clown is vomit inducing.
For the record, this 'Thang" was not denounced by political "saints" who assent and conspire in silence to his referring to other decent men as worthless ass-kissers. Trump has repented of nothing. Not one thing. And here is Ralph Reed 'blessing' a walking, talking, imbecile.

Doesn't matter, we are commanded by Scripture to pray for our political leaders regardless of whether they are Christians or not.
"Most of all, I’m writing to encourage you to pray with gratitude to God. Pray for all men with all forms of prayers and requests as you intercede with intense passion. And pray for every political leader and representative, so that we would be able to live tranquil, undisturbed lives, as we worship the awe-inspiring God with pure hearts. It is pleasing to our Savior-God to pray for them." 1 Timothy 2:1-3
Thinking critically using modern information and methods would be better than blindly acting ("commanded by Scripture") per ancient man-conceived words in an ancient book.
There is no need for critical thinking to pray that our political leaders make good decisions for our country and that we pray for their health and safety.
Common sense tells us that it is good to hope (and encourage wherever possible) that our leaders make good decisions. No need to follow the commands written by ancient men in ancient times. We do far better thinking for ourselves.

Lord, I pray President Donald Trump will uphold the office of President to its highest standard going forward. We are a great people, a strong people, a model people. We are now one people gathered together from many - and we ask for the highest spiritual and natural blessings for our nation and all other nations of this world. Bless our leader with truth, dignity, and above all a sincere and honest drive to serve such a great people. We ask your blessings on the minds and hearts of the representative men and women which govern us in Senate and House of Representatives and may they us better people through their example of proper and straightforward service. What I find most disgusting and abhorrent is the use of spirituality for political and perfidious purposes. Words are empty, it the actions that count. And the 'vaules' leaders are with Trump for a reason. $$$$$$$$ and Power. Good thing I hadn't had breakfast or I'd have puked it up.

So basically this prayer is designed to convince believers that Trump might be now given extraordinary powers from God to make the right decisions. 'Trust in Trump because he is doing the will of God.'

I did not hear one word about the closing of lying mouths and shutting down of workings of deceit in high places (like the offices of Congress and the White House) in that prayer.
While I can understand that specific pastor being liberated and relieved to be so after his time imprisoned in Turkey, I want you all to take stock of Ralph Reed in the shot. Consider this was a prepared prayer, a written one, and in keeping with that, it was vetted to have no offending thing in it.
The audience was bonkers. During a solemn occasion and prayer there is normally no 'hooting and hollering' coming on.
That was not Ralph Reed. That was Tony Perkins in his role as Leader of the Family Research Council which is a primary organizer of the annual value voters summit.

Values Voter Summit 2019 started today. Here are transcripts from select speakers:
The fact that they support trump who has no morals at all, completely makes this group a sham.
.....Garnering media attention from around the world, elected officials and social conservative citizens from across the Nation attend this three-day event (October 11-13) with great excitement and expectation. Not only did VVSwelcome President Donald Trump, but also a lengthy line-up of speakers which included some of the Nation’s leading conservative voices like Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council (FRC), American Family Association's Wesley Wildmon, Dennis Prager, HHS Secretary Alex Azar, Senator Josh Hawley, Michele Bachmann, Todd Starnes, Jenny Beth Martin and many more.
Hosted by FRC Action, a variety of break-out sessions and speaker topics about confronting socialism, upholding rights and liberties, supporting Israel, and much more were scattered throughout the first two days of the conference.
On Friday morning, Dr. Sebastian Gorka, former Deputy of Strategy for the White House, recalled the president’s 2016 candidacy, stating “All [the President] did is open a window of liberty — a very small, grace-filled window of liberty.” He continued, warning, “that window can close in the next 389 days.” Even as he and his family are attacked by the Left on a daily basis, Gorka believes Trump will keep his promises, ensuring the Constitutional right of liberty while he remains in office.
Among the afternoon talks, Dennis Prager shared his affinity for American values and denounced those in society and the media who are perpetual liars. The co-founder of Prager University concluded, “Lying is part of Leftism. Not liberalism. Not conservatism. It is instrumental to Leftism.”
Award-winning broadcaster and author, Todd Starnes, described the story of a young Roy Costner taking a stand against those who opposed to prayer at public school events. Starnes believes Costner’s story should serve as a lesson to all Christians. “We’ve got to take a stand. We cannot bow down. So, consider this your call to arms. Happy warriors, we are tasked with a defending a noble cause and a noble faith,” despite the intolerance and attacks from the Left.
Saturday morning, AFA’s general counsel, Abraham Hamilton III, took an opportunity to shed light on presidential candidate Robert "Beto" O’Rourke’s recent rhetoric about rescinding the tax-exempt status of churches because of their view on Biblical marriage. Hamilton used the opportunity to note an important point that applies to all of this year’s Democratic party candidates.
While O’Rourke may have shared his thoughts publicly, Hamilton points out, “Everybody who is vying for the presidency in that party agrees with [O’Rourke’s support of same-sex marriage].
Among a wealth of other speakers through the day, Brigitte Gabriel took the stage to encourage the American people. “We are fighting for the soul of our country,” said the founder and president of ACT for America. She encouraged listeners to image a second term without President Trump, and to use the thought to “light a fire.” Gabriel spoke about the sacrifices the Founding Fathers made for America freedom. Then, she said, “the least we can do is protect and preserve those freedoms they created for generations to come. We owe it to them, and we owe it to our children.”
On Saturday evening, Pastor Andrew Brunson will be presented the Cost of Discipleship Award at the Faith, Family, and Freedom Gala dinner. One year ago, Pastor Brunson was released from captivity in Turkey. This evening, he will be honored by many, including President Donald Trump and Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom Sam Brownback, for his great sacrifice.
Gary Bauer, president of American Values and a long-time co-sponsor of the Values Voter Summit, spoke on Friday afternoon. He tells OneNewsNow, “[VVS] is the year's premier event for social conservatives.”
When you have the President speaking at a Gala Dinner to honor a pastor, Bauer asserts, “[his presence certainly] speaks volumes about the Summit and its focus on faith, family and freedom.”
In an additional statement to OneNewsNow, Gorka describes VVS "as a crucial event for all those who have had enough of the Left's radicalization and who believe in the immutable founding principles of our Republic."

Politician charged in human trafficking adoption scheme
An Arizona elected official ran a human smuggling scheme that promised pregnant women thousands of dollars to lure them from a Pacific Island nation to the U.S., where they were crammed into houses to wait to give birth, sometimes with little to no prenatal care, prosecutors allege.
Paul Petersen, the Republican assessor of Arizona’s most populous county, was charged in Utah, Arizona and Arkansas with counts including human smuggling, sale of a child, fraud, forgery and conspiracy to commit money laundering.
The charges span about three years and involve some 75 adoptions. Investigators also found eight pregnant women from the Marshall Islands in raids of his properties outside Phoenix, and several more are waiting to give birth in Utah, authorities said.
