Good riddance.

It’s not like @ realDonaldTrump paid taxes here anyway...

He’s all yours, Florida. https:// twitter.com/nytimes/status /1190053604037668864

President Trump doesn't want to be a New Yorker anymore. He filed residency paperwork for Florida, a favorite of the wealthy for tax reasons. https:// nyti.ms/2WtQKXI

Trump Announces Residency Change From New York To Florida
President Donald Trump announced Thursday that he’d filed paperwork to change his primary residence from Manhattan to Palm Beach, Florida, griping about his treatment at the hands of New York officials.
According to the New York Times,   he and Melania Trump submitted documents to change their primary residence in late September, filing a “declaration of domicile” for Mar-a-Lago.

That sounds pretty official.

Who wants to be popular in New York, Chicago, or LA/SF?  You win elections everywhere else in America by being very unpopular in those places.  The more they hate you in those urban areas the more loved you will be in the Heartland.  Trump knew this in 2016 when he went after the electoral votes of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin at the expense of popular votes in Ca and NY.

Extradition from state to state depends on the crime charged.  Say someone in OR has an outstanding bench warrant for unpaid parking fines in MI.  MI might dismiss the charge due to the expense of bringing that person back.  But with what Trump could be facing, extradition would pretty much be a given.  Extradition from another country to the US depends on if we have an extradition agreement with that country and the crime(s) involved.

Cuomo calls Trump’s Florida residency change a ‘desperate legal move’

687809f0-83d9-11e9-9fff-19c3f60da8a0   By Allie Bice, Politico   4 hours ago

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Friday revved up his attacks on President Donald Trump for changing his primary residency from New York to Florida, calling it a “desperate legal move” to avoid the release of his tax returns.

“The fight will continue, and I think it is a desperate legal move where he's now going to argue ‘Well the state should have no right to my taxes because I moved out, I'm a Florida resident,'" Cuomo said on MSNBC. “That's besides the point. When you filed your taxes, you were a New York resident. If you defrauded the state, you defrauded it when you are a New York state resident.”

Trump’s residency change, first  reported  by The New York Times, comes after a Manhattan district attorney subpoenaed eight years of his tax returns.

Cuomo’s comments are   the latest in a series of broadsides   from him against the president. The governor   reacted in a tweet   shortly after the news broke: “Good riddance. It’s not like @realDonaldTrump paid taxes here anyway...He’s all yours, Florida.”

Although the president hasn’t responded directly to his comments, White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham hit back at Cuomo Friday.

“We're not going to waste our time with a governor who would say something like that,” Grisham said on Fox News. “That was petty and that was silly. I’ll leave it at that.”

Donald Trump Jr. also   took to Twitter   to hit back at Cuomo.

“Nice soundbite. Now do the tens of thousands of other successful New Yorkers and businesses fleeing your idiotic policies every week,” Trump Jr. wrote. “I’ll wait.”

Trump Jr. alleged that Cuomo “begged” his father for money — presumably referring to Trump’s previous campaign donations to Cuomo. In July 2018, Cuomo said   he would keep campaign contributions   from the president, but remain “deeply critical of him.”

“Also I don’t remember this sentiment ever stopping you from coming to   @realDonaldTrump ’s office begging for $,” Trump Jr. wrote. “I was there. GOOD TIMES”

Trump confirmed the news of his change in residency via Twitter Thursday night.

"1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, the White House, is the place I have come to love and will stay for, hopefully, another 5 years as we MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, but my family and I will be making Palm Beach, Florida, our Permanent Residence," Trump tweeted. "I cherish New York, and the people of New York, and always will, but unfortunately, despite the fact that I pay millions of dollars in city, state and local taxes each year, I have been treated very badly by the political leaders of both the city and state. Few have been treated worse."

Documents filed at the Palm Beach County Circuit Court showed both Trump and first lady Melania Trump declared the Florida Mar-A-Lago address to be their primary residence — a place Trump has visited frequently throughout his presidency, the Times reported.

Nick Niedzwiadek contributed to this report.

I feel sorry for the people who live around Mar A Largo where Trump is going to reside.  Anytime he is there it becomes a nightmare for the locals.  Now it is just going to become worse for them.

They may not have to worry about his being there for any length of time if he gets impeached and indicted for all the crimes he is now facing, and perhaps some that will surface with further investigations. And a lot of other of his good 'ol boys will go down with him, or...most likely, jump ship and testify against him to save their own skins, just like Trump does when he is caught in a situation when he needs to toss one of his own under the bus to save his own skin.

The "Fat Lady" is just tuning up at this point. But, yeah, I know, all the Repubs will scream fake crimes. But, the more they come into view the harder it is for them to deny it.

They can scream all they want, it will not change a thing.

It very well may play out as you say. However, no one is above the law, even though Trump thinks he is, he will find out what that saying really means.

As far as Trump just fading away, not a chance. He will still be a putrid boil on the a$$ of America for years to come with all his proposed suits against all those who he thinks have wronged him, even if they had nothing to do with anything. That is just his sick nature of thinking he is invincible. Plus all the talk show interviews about how maligned he's been, etc., and that is after he gets out of prison.

Trump leaving New York.  There are rumors, just rumors, that the Trump businesses in New York are in financial straights.  The Trump hotel in Washington DC is for sale.  As are several Trump/Kushner properties in NY and NJ.  Don't know about Trump Tower---but would not be surprised if the State or City of New York take it over eventually.

Florida will not be the 'safe place' for him.  Things are going to change down there.  The ( Lev and Igor ) thing is just beginning to play out.  Unless Barr can pull out a hat trick.  Which I seriously doubt---that would be his death knell.

I have it on good authority (courtesy of several regular posters here) that Trump is getting richer and richer at our expense. So the rumors you speak of must not be true.

Trump getting richer?  Maybe making money, but since he's been president the foreign money into Trump businesses is tapering.

His debts are massive.  Far beyond his assets.  Deutsche Bank---remember them?

As far as 'the rumors' about liquidations of Trump properties--------we will see.  I stated they were rumors.  However, The Trump Hotel in DC is for sale.  For what ever that is worth.

This is funny.  This is the reason Trump needs to keep his taxes between him and the IRS.  Most people could not comprehend his taxes or business dealings.  The MSM would go wild with their propaganda bamboozling the public daily.

How much is he in debt?  Do not know.  His financials have not been released.

The debts are loans incurred in the purchase, renovations and maintenance of existing properties.  This may be why ( the rumors ) allege the Trump and Kushner family businesses are liquidating

some of the properties whose income is not satisfactory.

In typical leftist mind set, they dislike the President so EVERYBODY dislikes him.

For some reason the left thinks everybody are lemmings like they are.  Not a single individual, original thought among them.

If Trump had done something illegal with his taxes, you can feel confident the New York Department of Taxation and Finance would have found it.  I bet he is audited every single year.  The fearful and deceitful only want his tax information made public because it is an easy way to fool the masses who don't know diddly schiff about their own taxes, much less the taxes of large corporations.

If so many can be fooled by reading a fake phone transcript and have the fools believe the fakester's suggestive reading of it is the real one and the real one is the fake, then think of the bountiful supply of accusations they would have to spread their propaganda.

Well, enough of that.  Basically there are many in our government who have been screwing the American Citizens for years and quite a bit of it has been through criminal activity.  That's why they are so desperate to rid themselves of Trump, who they know will eventually divulge their names and crimes.  They have to rid themselves of this oncoming disaster before it destroys them more than they have already destroyed themselves over the last 3 years.

Look, it's never going to be the same. Too many people have opened their eyes and are now awake and aware of the evil from some of those we've put in office and some of those who are suppose to present the truth to us through the media.  We know and you know, if you search deep into your soul, just what I'm talking about.  We can't be this stupid, but we evidently can be this dishonest to ourselves.
