Was he charged with wearing a bad hat, also? Because this ensemble he's sporting feels like a crime against fashion.

Roy Cohn and Dick Nixon were Olde Joe McCarthy's acolytes and they all went down in ignominious infamy, hated by all and in utter disgrace...

Paul Manafort, Roger Stone and Trump were the acolytes of Roy Cohn. Now Manafort and Stone are convicted felons and Trump is next!

Stone was convicted of obstructing justice by lying to investigators and Congress regarding the Mueller Probe into Russian interference in the 2016 Presidential Election and The Trump Campaign's collusion with Wikileaks and Russian hackers. It is not funny. Roger Stone surely won't be laughing. I wonder if he will sing now. Stone could end up like Epstein or Trump might have to pardon him. Either way, this is bad bad bad news for Donald Trump and Co...

In a nutshell - Stone, 67, was convicted of seven charges, including lying to congressional investigators, witness tampering, and obstructing justice. The charges stem from former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election—and were the last to be filed before the probe ended.

Stone guilty on all counts.

For reasons I can not explain he is free until his sentencing which will be in February.

And, there are already rumors of a 'double pardon' in the works for Stone and Manafort.  The question is whether Barr will engineer it like he did for the Iran Contra people?

If Barr does the 'heavy lifting' for the pardon it could prove dangerous in the future if Trump loses and the GOP loses the senate too.  I am confident Barr is weighing the options.  Weighing them carefully.

Of course if Trump wins re-election and the GOP maintains the senate, Trump, Putin and the rest of the autocrats are home free and clear.

I don't know the details of this case, butt if a conviction is appealed, the convicted criminal can sometimes stay out on appeal bond until the appeal is decided.

Thanks, I didn't know that (as I stated).

I have no idea why he was able to walk out of the courtroom.

And, you're right.  He's hoping he gets pardoned.

I hope Trump stabs him in his Nixon tat.

For reasons I can not explain he is free until his sentencing which will be in February.

That's common unless he's a flight risk or a threat to public safety (which he is pretty clearly not). I'm assuming he's already out on bail based on those factors.

At this point, we don't know for sure that he will have to be incarcerated at all as a result of his sentence. He may pay a fine, get probation only, or be allowed to serve time in his house.

To reach that determination, prosecutors, defense counsel, and probably federal probation officers will have to generate sentencing recommendations. That takes time - and with the holidays looming, even more time than it otherwise might.

OMG, Stone was caught lying. I guess the old adage of ''tiger doesn't change it striped'' or better yet a liar is a liar is a liar.

Stone and his buddy Trump were caught by the NY lobbying commission of lying, cheating, etc etc....and fined $250,000.

I guess he didn't learn his lesson, gotta love it.
