White House forced to deny Trump has serious health condition after ‘abnormal’ medical visit

The White House has attempted to quell rumours about Donald Trump ’s health after an unscheduled visit to a doctor over the weekend.
Mr Trump has claimed his visit to the Walter Reed medical centre on Saturday was “phase one” of his yearly physical, despite him having no public events on his schedule for that day and his last physical being only nine months ago.
The president’s visit also did not follow the protocol for a routine medical exam and Walter Reed staff were not given notice about the visit, a source told CNN.
A separate source told the news channel Mr Trump’s visit was “abnormal”.
However, Stephanie Grisham , the White House press secretary, insisted it was “absolutely not” true that the visit was anything other than a routine physical exam, maintaining Mr Trump is “healthy as can be”.
“He's got more energy than anybody in the White House. That man works from 6am until, you know, very, very late at night. He's doing just fine,” Ms Grisham told Fox News host Jeanine Pirro.
Despite the suggestion that the president works all through the day, Mr Trump has no public events scheduled for Monday after a weekend in which he had no public appearances on his schedule.
The president’s doctors hailed his health as “excellent” and “very good” following his first two annual physicals in January 2018 and February 2019.
On Sunday morning, Mr Trump referred to his visit to Walter Reed and denied there was anything wrong with his health.
“Visited a great family of a young man under major surgery at the amazing Walter Reed Medical Centre,” he wrote on Twitter .
“Those are truly some of the best doctors anywhere in the world. Also began phase one of my yearly physical. Everything very good (great!). Will complete next year.”
For a typical annual physical exam, a patient would fast, usually overnight, so accurate blood tests could be performed.
It is unclear why Mr Trump only completed “phase one” of his medical as he was at Walter Reed for more than two hours and had no other scheduled events for Saturday.
His 2018 check-up lasted more than three hours, according to a report by then-White House physician Ronny Jackson .
The White House said the president’s heart rate during his February exam was 70 beats per minute and his blood pressure was 118.80 mmHg, which are both healthy levels.
However, his dosage of a cholesterol-lowering drug was reportedly increased after the check-up and Mr Trump’s weight had risen slightly to 243 pounds, pushing him over the line into obesity.
Although Mr Trump does not drink alcohol or smoke, he is known to be fond of fast food and does not appear to do much exercise beyond playing golf.
In a statement on Saturday, Ms Grisham said the president “remains healthy and energetic without complaints, as demonstrated by his repeated vigorous rally performances in front of thousands of Americans several times a week.”
She added that Mr Trump also met with the family of a Special Forces soldier who had been injured in Afghanistan as part of his visit.
During her Fox News appearance, Ms Grisham claimed Mr Trump went to Walter Reed to “get a head start with some routine check-ups” because he has a “really busy year ahead”.
In response, Ms Pirro bizarrely described the president as “almost superhuman”, adding: “I don't know how anyone can deal with what he's dealing with [in Washington].”

The man is overweight. His cholesterol is most likely high which is far from healthy. If he would just quit going into tweet overdrive, he might get some sleep but he is so obsessed with twitter, it has to be a form of OCD. He will eventually get the condition Twitter Thumb, which is a form of TCS. I don't wish anyone health problems, but he is taking few if any steps to be healthier. If he would forego the golf cart and simply walk the course, it would be much better exercise than driving up to the ball, hitting it, and getting back in the cart to go to where the ball landed.
He's going to have a stroke one of these days, based on his horrible diet and his refusal to exercise. But we're supposed to believe that crock of shit letter his doctor ADMITTED that Trump dictated ... and I don't think Grisham has ever told the truth regarding Trump. A "head start" on an annual physical - is anyone but a Trump idol dumb enough to believe that?

Nothing new there. I don't wish ill health on anyone, but, if that is the case, he has no one but himself to blame for any malady he may suffer. Thinking he is invincible, he does little, if anything, to protect his own health.
However, if any malady is found it would, of course, be the cause of the Democrats as far as the Repubs would claim. Nothing Trump ever does is wrong according to his supporters.
What's worse, in his profound stupidity, he believes that exercise is actually bad for you and that it drains the body's "finite energy sources." And that will bite him in the ass one day, along with riding in golf carts where all the normal adults are walking.
No wonder conspiracy theorists love him; he is totally deranged.
IMHO, Trump is on the verge of a serious anxiety attack. The cat is out of the bag and the WH mice are packing up and moving out before their own necks are on the Trump stump.
Trump is indeed a good liar, however, he is letting his own mouth and actions add to the list against him. He needs to shut his mouth and stop tweeting before he himself helps built more of a case against him.
However, As Trump thinks he is smarter than any other human being on the planet, I don't think that will happen, and he will try to blame everyone else for his the outcome if it is not in his favor, which it is looking more and more working against him.
You'd think so, right? I'm confident I would be. But there are a lot of people in this world who are so good at convincing themselves that nothing they do is wrong or nothing bad will ever happen to them that they just get up in the morning and it's business as usual.
You see it in many (obviously not all) politicians, athletes, actors, the super wealthy, etc. Organized crime. Anybody, I guess, that lives in a world where people cut them breaks they wouldn't give to regular folks.
I can agree with much of what you say, Tacos. Under normal circumstances that is likely the case.
However, Trump is now facing much more serious circumstances which can have far more serious results. And many of those who he felt he could count on to have his back and that he could use as a scapegoat if necessary are turning their back on him. And many of those who are sticking with him are also facing serious legal situations. And Trump, who has never had to face the kind of situation he now finds himself, and has always been able to use others as ways to pass off his own guilt, is now if finding it hard to deal with the facts that are staring him directly in the face that he won't be able to blame anyone else for.
It is like the old saying, "If you sleep with a mangy dog, chances are you will wake up with mange yourself." And it looks like some of those who chose to stick close to Trump are finding that out the hard way.
There will be those who will pooh pooh such an idea, but, lies are often easier to deal with than the truth. However, that is their problem, not mine.

Trump is unwell, there is no question about it, even a terrible person can have a serious illness. If only people would look at the total picture with every video where he wanders, doesn't seem to know where he is or how or where to walk, how his thoughts are rambling and scattered. Look at how his speech patterns show word finding difficulties in writing his tweets or making his Hitleresque style rally speeches. The man is not well. And with all that is facing him, because you cannot hide who you are forever, his past fraudulent habits have caught up to him. His only way out, is to claim a medical and use his actual illness to delay and avoid any prosecution until he meets his maker. If he persists, it will end badly for him, his family and all of us.

What gets me is the refusal of the GOP members of Congress to do their damn jobs - which includes oversight. They have put their orange idol above their country and that's going to cause lasting damage to their party's reputation for me. I don't like either party - both put way too much pressure on our elected officials to stay in lockstep with the party line - but in this case, the GOP is taking it to extremes that I've never before seen.
