What The Urban Dictionary Thinks Of Trump Derangement Syndrome
Trump Derangement Syndrome was a originally a made up condition, conceived as an insult label by the alt-right to attack anyone who criticizes or refuses to support Donald Trump. The idea being the left is so obsessed with Trump they have collectively lost their minds. Like many of their other little online crusades, this one has backfired.

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

The latest attempt by the  alt-right  to  demonise  anybody who thinks that maybe putting a reality TV star who's declared  bankruptcy  six times in charge of the country might not have been the best idea.

Trump Derangement Syndrome ( TDS ) is a mental condition in which a person has been driven effectively insane due to their love of Donald Trump, to the point they will abandon all logic and reason.

Symptoms for this condition can be very diverse, ranging from racist or xenophobic outbursts to a complete disconnection from reality. TDS can also often result in the sufferer exhibiting violent, homicidal, or even genocidal desires, particularly against residents from foreign countries.

talking point  intended to dismiss the majority of Americans who do not support Donald Trump as crazy. Generally  unsuccessful , as  supporting Donald Trump  makes it clear that you are just about the dumbest human being imaginable.

" Oh, I see  it's  another one  of those sad individuals with Trump derangement syndrome."

(other person stifles laughter)

"What, what's so funny?"

" You're an idiot ."

An affliction that profoundly affects  Trumpsters  causing them to abandon rationality and denounce criticism of  Conald  Grump as 'fake news'. The affliction causes irreparable damage to the brain of sufferers, thus they are unable to function properly. The cause of the illness is said to emanate from an obsession and deification of an orange criminal  fraudster  and serial sexual assaulter.

Other symptoms include:

-Bringing up Bill Clinton when  orange goblin  is criticised.

-Bringing up Hillary Clinton when orange goblin is criticised.

-Bringing up Barack Obama when orange goblin is criticised.

The idea being the left is so obsessed with Trump they have collectively lost their minds. Like many of their other little online  crusades , this one has backfired. People dislike Trump for actual reasons which often go well beyond just politics or partisanship, and if anyone has Trump Derangement Syndrome it's those on the right that blindly support him. They have lost their sense of morality, religious convictions, principles,  objectivity , all  discernment , and even the ability to have a civil discussion or reason. So the term has now been co-opted by others to refer  to Trump  supporters who are blinded by their unrealistic devotion to Trump.

" Dude what's  up with that  MAGA  bomber."

"He's got Trump Derangement Syndrome, completely out of his  FN  mind!"

A not so rare syndrome  in America  where someone blindly follows every word  Donald Trump  says. No matter how racist,  bigoted  or idiotic it may be.

Trump Derangement Syndrome- blindly following every word and movement of Donald Trump.

-If you’re for the wall at the southern border, you probably suffer from  TDS .

-Patient: “I just can’t go a day without feeling some sort of  biased  towards people of other races and  religions .”
Doctor- “It’s clear you’re suffering from TDS.”

On Clinton Derangement Syndrome. The answer is often   axiomatic .   People hate Hillary Clinton because people hate Hillary Clinton . This instinctive, matter-of-fact hatred is known in America as Clinton Derangement Syndrome. When possessed, the victim sees Hillary Clinton as a woman of unimaginable power.

What's sad are those who tried to use such a term to describe those who merely refused to accept Trumps obvious ineptitude and lack of intelligence as "normal". Having to invent a "syndrome" to justify your own personal mental deficiencies is pretty funny to watch though. The vast majority of Americans are laughing at such sad attempts made by these feckless defenders of dishonest Donald. They ridicule higher education then claim they're educated enough to weigh in on "syndromes".

I don't believe the term was ever aimed at regular folks who merely voted for someone else.

It was directed at the sky-screaming, pink-pussy-hat-wearing nut jobs who screamed at the top of their lungs that--somehow and very mysteriously--Trump isn't their President. it was directed at the folks who criticize every single thing the President does. It is aimed at some in the media who were practically in tears on election night. It is aimed at the fools who never thought Trump had a chance to beat the Great Hillary.

And it was accurate.

Well, the obvious ODS many half wit bigots displayed and still exhibit today is really just an inflammation of the BDS (Black derangement Syndrome) that they had been harboring for the last two centuries, ever fearful of allowing black Americans the same rights, courtesies or positions of power as their white Christian masters enjoyed during our founding. In some of their minds it's been downhill ever since slavery was abolished and was the final straw watching a black American rise to the office of the Presidency.

Race card played.

Considering two thirds of the cards in the deck from American history are "race cards", it's rather difficult not to bring them up, especially when it's so blatantly obvious that's the deck these worthless bigoted Obama haters are playing from.

One of the most disgusting racist habits many racists have is claiming reverse racism against anyone who dares point out their blatant racism. The vast majority of those who use the term "race card" as a defense of their racism are sniveling bitter bigots with decades of indoctrinated hate towards minorities that they are desperate to keep hidden.

People who used to call themselves Democrats and before that belonged to the Southern Democrat party did indeed do that. Anyone with even a smattering of US history knows who they were and where they lived and guess what, they never moved, they're still in those southern States, they just vote Republican now. The reality that some bigoted morons are desperately trying to obfuscate the facts and lie about the southern strategy admitted to by many Republican strategists in the past is very sad and proves their argument and lashing out at current Democrats to be hollow and pointless.

News flash, Dixiecrats never left the Democrat party. As much as you try to deny, it still doesn't make it true. The "southern strategy" Is a hoax fed to the ignorant sheep of the Democrat party to use as a talking point. The racist left thinks it can somehow wipe its slate clean by claiming all their racist became Republican but yet can't point out who they are.

The "southern strategy" Is a hoax

"From now on, the Republicans are never going to get more than 10 to 20 percent of the Negro vote and they don't need any more than that... but Republicans would be shortsighted if they weakened enforcement of the Voting Rights Act. The more Negroes who register as Democrats in the South, the sooner the Negrophobe whites will quit the Democrats and become Republicans. That's where the votes are." - Nixon's Republican political strategist Kevin Phillips in a 1970 New York Times interview

Often some here try to claim that because every Southern district didn't become Republican overnight and that it took 30 years before they were all solidly "Red" States, that the southern strategy was a lie or a hoax. That is one of the most ignorant positions on history I've ever heard. Apparently those folk haven't a clue as to what a "strategy" is.

Strategy: noun - a plan of action or policy designed to achieve a major or overall aim

The plan is plainly laid out by Republicans, and the overall aim was eventually achieved. Those bigoted Southern Democrats did not move, and many continued to vote for their local Southern Democrat politicians in those districts where white candidates were running. But that doesn't mean the Republicans weren't courting those disaffected Democrats angered with their own party after the majority of Democrats both authored, voted FOR and passed the 1964 civil rights act which was then signed into law by a Democrat President. That was the beginning of the migration, but it took decades for the migration to complete. Claiming now that it didn't happen even though all the facts prove that it did as well as the current political makeup and the obvious reverence Republicans now show towards confederate monuments, the confederate flag, white nationalists and white supremacists within their party. The GOP has welcomed them with open arms as they share many values with the Southern Democrats of old such as their rabid hatred of minorities, immigrants, lgtbq Americans, Muslims, Jews and atheists. So watching them try and deny what they have become is just sad and a little disturbing. I feel bad sometimes because I don't really want to make fun of how stupid some people must be to buy this sad Republican false narrative about the southern strategy being a "hoax" and then find out they have learning disabilities so it wasn't really their fault.

In Internet slang, a troll is a person who starts quarrels or upsets people on the Internet to distract and sow discord by posting inflammatory and digressive,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the intent of provoking readers into displaying emotional responses[2] and normalizing tangential discussion,[3] whether for the troll's amusement or a specific gain.

"Therapists in the U.S. say there has been a rise in politically-related anxiety in the months before and after Trump's presidency that they have dubbed "Trump Anxiety Disorder."

Elisabeth LaMotte, therapist and founder of the D.C. Counseling and Psychotherapy Center in Washington D.C., told Canada's CBC News that there is a collective politically induced anxiety among patients. She claims that President Trump's name has come up frequently in sessions with her clients. Many feel on edge about the possible dire effects of his decisions, rhetoric, and policies

" Although "Trump Anxiety Disorder" is not an official diagnosis, the symptoms include a lack of sleep, a feeling of losing of control and helplessness in an unpredictable sociopolitical climate, along with endless negative headlines, and excessive time spent on social media. This has also been theorized in a 2017 essay written by clinical psychologist Jennifer Panning for a book co-edited by Harvard and Yale psychologists.

Oh no another Alt right boogey man post by JR.

The origin of the term is traced to political columnist and commentator Charles Krauthammer, a psychiatrist, who originally coined the phrase Bush derangement syndrome in 2003 during the presidency of George W. Bush. That "syndrome" was defined by Krauthammer as "the acute onset of paranoia in otherwise normal people in reaction to the policies, the presidency—nay—the very existence of George W. Bush".[5][6][7][8] The first use of the term 'Trump Derangement Syndrome' may have been by Esther Goldberg in an August 2015 op-ed in The American Spectator; she applied the term to "Ruling Class Republicans" who are dismissive or contemptuous of Trump.[9] Krauthammer, himself a harsh critic of Trump, later defined "Trump derangement syndrome" as a Trump-induced "general hysteria" among the chattering classes, producing an "inability to distinguish between legitimate policy differences and ... signs of psychic pathology" in the President's behavior.[8]

Of course the left has to try to steal the term for most of them have the inability to think for themselves.
