61 Bible Verses About Leadership
Jesus taught his disciples not to emulate the rulers of the Gentiles who exercised authority over them. Instead, He taught that in order for us to be leaders, we must become servants first. We must not conform to the status quo especially if it entails ruling through coercion and unjust deeds over our subordinates.

1. Leaders are servants first.

Jesus taught his disciples not to emulate the rulers of the Gentiles who exercised authority over them. Instead, He taught that in order for us to be leaders,   we must become servants first . We must not conform to the status quo especially if it entails ruling through coercion and unjust deeds over our subordinates.

2. Fairness is a leader’s moral obligation.

“If a king judges the poor with truth, His throne will be established forever.”
Proverbs 29:14

A leader’s credibility is based on how he upholds truth and fairness over his organisation. This verse teaches us that honest and truthful leaders are appreciated and their legacy will be known long after their reign.

For over a generation the damn gop has abused the names of God and Christ to advocate for wars and for torturing people and for state sponsored executions while taking money from programs to help the poor in order to give even more unneeded tax cuts to the already unconscionably rich. All of which Jesus Christ would have abhorred...

One time the Bible speaks of Jesus speaking in violence, when he warned of what would happen to those who messed with kids ...

Luke 17:2

It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.

...another time we actually see Jesus behave violently...

John 2:15

So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.

How do ya think Jesus feels about the the shit being espoused in his name today?!

Jesus doth tell us:

Luke 11. 34 “The eye is the lamp of your body; when your eye is clear, your whole body also is full of light; but when it is bad, your body also is full of darkness.
35 “Then watch out that the light in you is not darkness.

Luke 12:47-48:  "And that servant who knew his master's will but did not get ready or act according to his will, will receive a severe beating. But the one who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, will receive a light beating. Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more."

2 Peter 2:1:  "But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction."

Romans 16:17:  "I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them."
