Trump Screamed At Pentagon Leaders And Told Them They Were ‘Dopes’ And ‘Babies’
The temper tantrum began when Trump started complaining about the “loser war” in Afghanistan and demanded to know “where is the fucking oil” that he felt the U.S. deserved for its military presence in the Persian Gulf. “You’re all losers,” he told them. “You don’t know how to win anymore.”

Trump Screamed At Pentagon Leaders And Told Them They Were ‘Dopes’ And ‘Babies’

It didn’t end there; According to Leonnig and Rucker, Trump became so angry that “he wasn’t taking many breaths” and bellowed to the commanders in a fit of rage, “I wouldn’t go to war with you people.”

“You’re a bunch of dopes and babies,” he shouted.

Everyone in the room was shocked.

“How does the commander in chief say that?” one participant thought, according to the Post. “What would our worst adversaries think if they knew he said this?”

President Donald Trump repeatedly berated U.S. military leaders while throwing a massive fit during a Pentagon meeting in 2017, according to “A Very Stable Genius: Donald J. Trump’s Testing of America,” a book penned by Washington Post reporters Carol D. Leonnig and Philip Rucker.

An   excerpt   from the book describes how Trump’s meeting with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs General Joseph F. Dunford Jr. and flag officials on July 20, 2017 (arranged by then-Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, then-Secretary of Defense James Mattis, and then-National Economic Council Director Gary Cohn) went completely off the rails.

“How does the commander in chief say that?” one participant thought, according to the Post. “What would our worst adversaries think if they knew he said this?”

Trump’s attack was apparently Tillerson’s breaking point.

“No, that’s just wrong,” he said to Trump. “Mr. President, you’re totally wrong. None of that is true.”

The secretary of state asserted that those who join the military “don’t do it to become soldiers of fortune.”

“That’s not why they put on a uniform and go out and die,” he said. “They do it to protect our freedom.”

In a private conversation with Cohn and Mattis right after the meeting, Tillerson let loose and made the infamous comment about Trump that would get   leaked   to the press a few months later.

“He’s a fucking moron,” the secretary of state said.

All these generals want to do is kill people and break things.

I do not see how that applies to what I wrote.   After all, Trump ostensibly carried on as follows:

The temper tantrum began when Trump started complaining about the “loser war” in Afghanistan and demanded to know “where is the fucking oil” that he felt the U.S. deserved for its military presence in the Persian Gulf.

“You’re all losers,” he told them. “You don’t know how to win anymore.”

It didn’t end there; According to Leonnig and Rucker, Trump became so angry that “he wasn’t taking many breaths” and bellowed to the commanders in a fit of rage, “I wouldn’t go to war with you people.”

Does not sound like Trump is concerned at all about killing people, but rather about securing the spoils.

The only thing he was dodging at age 11 was the ball in a dodge ball game.

Was once a government employ but spent many years as a civilian paramedic and a club bouncer in a city with a VA and a couple of fed mental hospitals. These guys became my problem when they came to my clubs and my streets with PTSD.

Our government trains children to kill for a living but could do a lot more for those with PTSD.

Maybe Trump could just slap them like Patton did.

Actually I don't have too much of a problem with Philip Rucker or Carol Leonnig of the Washington Post and co-authors of “A Very Stable Genius: Donald J. Trump’s Testing of America”.  They are both Liberals and work for the Washington Post, a Liberal rag.  I wouldn't expect either of them .to be promoting Donald Trump in any way.  I would expect them to exaggerate anything Trump did in a negative manner.

That being said,

Carol Leonnig was part of a team of national security reporters that won the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service. The Post team's prize was for reporting that revealed the NSA's expanded spying on Americans .

Now, let's see how the so-called journalists handled that one.  Here's a man who spied on everyone from NYT, Fox News to Angela Merkel, not to mention the Trump campaign and who knows how many other Americans.  And don't forget how Obama was always the last to know, with the "Not even a Smidgen of corruption" comment, but very few media sources really gave him any grief for any of it.

Now can you imagine how the media would have reacted if it had been Trump in that video instead of Obama?  Every MSM source would be putting articles out and every MSM station would be interviewing comrades for their agenda for days on end.  And it wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't the Obama Administration who actually recorded that video instead of the media, as I've read where they have been known to prepare their own videos.

My point is it is completely expected those two Washington Post employees would write a book with any criticism they could about Trump.  It's their job and it is expected of them to do so, otherwise the Left will turn on them like a raging bull, kind of like they did to Ellen Degeneres when she sat with George Bush at a Dallas Cowboy's game.  They remind me of the "Religion of Peace" for being so tolerant as they are.

And it wouldn't surprise me if Trump did say something along the lines of the accusation quoted in the book.  I doubt he screamed.  I've never heard him scream, but he can be pretty aggressive in tone.  And I wouldn't be surprised that he was tired of an 18 year old war.that has cost us a trillion dollars, or has it been two trillion and we haven't gotten any closer to peace than we've ever been until maybe now.  And I doubt it, even at this point in time.  Yea, he could have been burned out on Afghanistan as many of us are.  Trump expects action, not a never ending war.

Obama doesn't even realize, in the video above, he completely gives himself away.  And what's even funnier is the fellow interviewing him doesn't seem to have a clue, either, but I bet some here will pick it out.  It pertains to the NSA, FBI, CIA and all the other agencies during his whole Presidency.  He tells you in this video above he knew about the spying.  Listen carefully.

Where are the "support our troops" tea party Republicans? Every lie, every slur, every insult is ignored no matter if it is our law enforcement, intelligence community, or our military. Trump has insulted them all at some point and it is totally ignored.

How the hell can anybody ignore the fact that the current POTUS is clinically insane?

Possibly because there is no "clinical" proof?

"How the hell can anybody ignore the fact that the current POTUS is clinically insane? "

Because there's no such malady and most arguments flow from facts.

Insanity itself is not recognized as a medical condition, but there are a variety of disorders that could cause a person to become legally insane.  This chronic mental illness is characterized by a form of psychosis that causes a person to lose touch with reality, at times to the extent of hallucination and delusion.
