Christian Activist May Sue Over Super Bowl Halftime Show

Christian activist Dave Daubenmire is threatening to sue over the Super Bowl halftime show that featured Jennifer Lopez and Shakira.
Daubenmire, on his " Pass the Salt " podcast Monday, was outraged by the entertainers' performances.
"Was there any kind of obscenity or pornography warning?" he said "How can they bring that into millions and millions of homes and not warn people?
"I want to sue them. I want to sue them for about $867 trillion.
"I think we ought to sue. Would that halftime show, would that have been rated PG? Were there any warnings that your 12-year-old son — whose hormones are just starting to operate — was there any warning that what he was going to see might cause him to get sexually excited?"
And he added: "Could I go into a courtroom and say, 'Viewing what you put on that screen put me in danger of hellfire?' Could the court say, 'That doesn't apply here because the right to porn overrides your right to [not] watch it?' Yeah, well, you didn't tell me I was going to watch it! You just brought it into my living room."

I had on Jimmy Kimmel last night. One of the segments was a skit where someone was supposed to be demonstrating how the cardboard beds at the 2020 Olympics could be used for different sexual positions. For the most part it was fairly graphic.
Such a program would never been on tv 20 or 30 years ago, let alone 50 or 60. Probably not even 10 years ago, But times have changed. Not necessarily for the better, but they have changed.
The SuperBowl halftime show was relatively tame.
I didn't watch the super bowl or the half time show, but if this really offended this man this much couldn't he have turned it off or walked out of the room?
I guess his remote needed fresh batteries and his knees were too wobbly to get up and take a walk

Actually many Black Evangelicals do not support tRump. True Christians of faith do not. Prosperity Gospel Matthew 23 Christians do support him. Maybe if you read the History of Christianity you would know at the time of Christ the Jewish community in Israel faced a crisis in faith do to the occupation of the Romans and the installment of the Herrod dynasty by them. Christ's teachings are those of the poor not those of the rich.

We've certainly seen worse at Super Bowl halftime shows.
Oddly, the teenagers in my house walked out on the show because of the outfits. The adults were fine. I can't explain why the kids are all such prudes.
