Days after being awarded the Medal of Freedom during President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address, right-wing talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh wondered aloud about how, in a general election face-off, “Mr. Man, Donald Trump” would “have fun” with Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg’s sexuality.
Limbaugh, who recently announced that he’s been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer, was back on the air Wednesday and weighed in on Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary results .
In a segment first flagged by Media Matters, Limbaugh said the Democratic establishment is faced with some “hard cold truths” about the state of the race over the fact that democratic socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) is the frontrunner, followed closely by Buttigieg, which Limbaugh pronounced as “Booty-gieg.”
“So you’re faced with dyed-in-the-wool socialist who’s not even a Democrat,” the conservative talker declared. “A gay guy, 37 years old, loves kissing his husband on debate stages. Can you see Trump have fun with that?”

He went on to say that the “grand poobahs” of the party are probably thinking that they can’t win with Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN)—who produced a strong third-place finish in New Hampshire—stating that they believe Trump will “wipe the floor with her.” He further asserted that they couldn’t allow Trump to beat two Democratic women in a row in the general election.
“They’re sitting there and they’re looking at Mayor Pete, 37-year-old gay guy, mayor of South Bend, loves to kiss his husband on the debate stage,” continued Limbaugh, who has previously declared that heterosexuals are “ under assault .”
“And they’re saying, ‘OK, how’s this going to look, 37-year-old gay guy kissing his husband on stage next to Mr. Man Donald Trump? What’s going to happen there?’”
“And they got to be looking at that, and they’ve got to be saying, that despite all the great progress and despite all the great wokeness, and despite all the great ground that's been covered, America's still not ready to elect a gay guy kissing his husband on the debate stage president,’ he added. “They have to be saying this, don’t they?!”
Limbaugh concluded his tirade by saying that some Democrats may “think that is the ticket” and that they need to get a “gay guy kissing his husband on stage” to “ram it down Trump’s throat.”
“Really,” he laughed. “Having fun envisioning that.”

Sounds like Rush is fantasizing about kissing Pete Buttigieg's husband, Mr. Man LOL!
He is correct however.
Trump's entire election strategy consists of 3rd grade level insults at the Democratic nominees.
You are giving Trump a lot of credit for a 3rd grade strategy. It's more like a spoiled 2 y/o strategy. If they can't have their way, or don't like something or someone, just throw a loud tantrum, banging their useless pacifier on everything, and telling all the neighbors who love them how abused they are, hoping they will give them what they want without question, or whether they deserve it.
I figured Jared and Ivanka were helping. Between the 3 I thought it possible they could reach 3rd grade level. But you could be right.
Jared and Ivanka would be very little help, as if it did not involve a strategy on how to promote Ivanka's company Brands, and provides a chance for Jared to make more big money under the table from foreign big wigs, they would care less about anything else. So Trump would have to some up with a strategy by himself.
It would behoove Trump to listen to far more knowledgeable advisors, however, he thinks that he is so much smarter than anyone else in the world, that if he does not think of it can't be good.

Rush should have grown a beard years ago. It hides his ugly assed face.
Rush got a much higher honor than our men and women in uniform who are, and have, served in our military and put their own lives on the line for their country.
That is a pure shame. It is an honor that he clearly does not deserve, never having served his country in any way, And a blatant slap in the face to all our military, no matter their rank.
He is like Cadet Bone Spurs, who so highly decorated him for dong nothing but telling lies and kissing Trump's butt, who first got a deferment for being a college student, then dropping out of college during the first year. Then after becoming eligible again for military duty, got another deferment for an anal cyst. Then it was due to sciatica, which he says caused his drug addiction. Or you name any other lie he told so he could get out of serving his country.
So.....how did he deserve the highest honor of our country? Because Trump said so. Nothing else was necessary. And again, Trump is the laughing stock of our country, and his buddy military duty comrade is also.
Rush, Barr and Trump are the current Three Stooges of America.
Most of the people i know didn't serve in the military to be honored. That said, earning the Eagle Globe and Anchor and rank was "honor" enough for me. Any awards that came after that were just icing on the cake and a Honorable Discharge was the candle.
It's not that difficult to get an honorable discharge. Hell, even I got one

OTH and Punitive discharges do happen more often than people think. There are still plenty of screw ups in the military.

If they made a medal to honor all the lies Rush has told to present to him, Rush would need at least a moving van to take it home.
If Trump is so pleased with him to award the medal, how come he didn't present it instead of Malania? She didn't look too pleased to be stuck with the task.
I got the same impression of he look on Melania's face. Her smile looked very forced. If presenting the oh so prestigious was so important, why did Trump not call Rush into the Oval office and present it himself like he does others?
