Trump Gets Religion
Over the past few days something has penetrated Donald Trump's brain.
He is speaking right now. He is as sober minded as you have ever seen him. He says the virus disruptions may last until July or August. He is considering a national curfew.
Something has got to him, presumably the dire predictions of virus experts.
No more talk of "hoax" or " we are winning" . Just quiet concern.
I guess I like Trump better like this. But it is a strong indication the country is in a lot of trouble. There is talk all airlines may be shut down and there will be no air travel. If planes stop, trains will stop. Public transportation will stop. The economy will crash. Four years of Trump insanity will seem like "the good old days".

If things arent better within a couple months his presidency is effectively over. Who needs an erratic person like Trump leading the country during a serious crisis?

There's LESS doubt that despite Trump's happiness about the Fed interest cut, the stock market numbers proved to him that this is a public health crisis, NOT an economic blip.

I don't think it is that clear.
Trump lives in his own little world of "yes men". The people he surrounds himself with are too afraid to tell him that he has toilet paper stuck to his shoe, let alone that his Presidency will be remembered as the one that is responsible for handling a pandemic. The mismanagement of this may cause hundreds or even thousands of additional ( unnecessary ) American deaths.
According to MSNBC, San Francisco is under "lockdown" . No one should leave their homes unless it is "essential".
Is going to buy food "essential?"
Yup.
As is going to work.
The problem here arises of course, when you can't afford the groceries because you haven't worked. Many will find themselves in this situation.
Oh, btw, infections are much harder to beat when malnourished.

The only thing that has shaken fat ass up is the stock market and a realization that he and his children aren't going to be making any money for a couple months off the Presidency. International guests won't be paying hand over fist to stay in one of his decrepit hotels, or at mar a largo and Ivanka's child labor in china is at a halt because of the virus.
trumpski should cut his losses and resign now. he and his family of grifters could use the 7 month head start.
