Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot Says 'F U' To Trump For 'Looting' Tweet

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

The mayor told reporters, “I will encode what I really want to say to Donald Trump. It’s two words: It begins with ‘F’ and it ends with ‘U.’”

=============================================

When Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot was asked if there was anything she’d like to say to  Donald Trump , she was ready with an answer.

“I will encode what I really want to say to Donald Trump. It’s two words: It begins with ‘F’ and it ends with ‘U.’” she said on Friday.

And, yes, there’s video. Thanks for asking.

(if you want to skip the preliminaries, start video at 1:00 mark)

Lightfoot’s comment came in reaction to a tweet the president posted early Friday morning where he threatened protesters demanding the arrest of the four Minneapolis police officers responsible for George Floyd’s death  by saying,  “When the looting starts, the shooting starts.”

The Chicago mayor also said the president’s  comment “was profoundly dangerous,”  according to WGN TV . “And we must stand firm in solidarity and say this is totally unacceptable no matter who the speaker is.”

Lightfoot added: “And we see the game he is playing. Because he’s transparent and he’s not very good at it.”

I'm surprised. Given your anger of the Lake of the Ozarks, I assumed your Chicago post would be about the recurring practice of groups  of Chicagoans ignoring  social distancing and confronting police  for daring to arrest someone on a weapons charges. Sounds like she's got everything under control: " On Tuesday night, a crowd threw bottles and cursed at police officers as they arrested an 18-year-old man on gun charges near where a 5-year-old girl and two teenage boys were wounded in a drive-by shooting, authorities said."

I guess she must have also solved Chicago's covid problem since Lightfoot told police to allow large gatherings without interference.  Nor a gun problem, since the community doesn't want illegal guns of the street.

But hey, she swears at the President so she must be doing a good job.  Pay no attention to the all the shootings when the city is on "lockdown."   Maybe if you found a mayor who talked even more like a 10 year boy, the shootings would go away.

  • iran deal - dead
  • cut regulations - by the thousands
  • obamacare mandate - erased
  • right to try act - passed
  • criminal justice reform - is working
  • border - being secured
  • set 50+ yr economic records in unemployment -  and will do it again.
  • swamped the courts with conservative judges and justices -  and that? will last for decades.

everything else is just noise.... drama for the fools who live on drama.

did you wonder why a president might insult someone after obama called those on the right  bible thumpers and bitter clingers?

Since most of these things that you think justify Trump's criminality and stupidity and buffoonish cruelty were done by executive order or presidential fiat and not done through legislation,  you should realize that  they could all be reversed by the next president as soon as Trump is gone. I dont know if the next president will choose to issue orders reversing Trumps orders in every case, but there is no doubt that a lot of that WILL HAPPEN.

Everyones lasting memory of Trump will be a bad one.

As for him setting the course of the courts for a generation, there are always judges retiring and the next president will appoint a lot of federal judges also. Trump's criminal stupidity is putting the GOP senate advantage in jeopardy. If the Democrats win the House and Senate and presidency you may end up wishing Trump was never born.

If, if , if.

It isn't like the GOP will wither away and die even if it loses some elections.

Unlike many Democrats (yourself included), most Republicans won't think the Democratic Party is dead if it doesn't win some elections.

We are smart enough to analyze voting data and realize that the pendulum swings both ways.

Try it!

Trump has never had the majority of the American people with him.  Never.

He won the GOP nomination with about 35% of the GOP primary vote in many states because they had a winner take all system. He was elected president with 46% of the national vote because of the nature of the electoral system. He has never had 50% popularity as president.

Now a poll recently showed only 24% of Americans strongly supporting Trump.  aka The Deplorables.

Your anti Trump Chi is unusually weak and impotent today.

First, Trump didn’t say that.

Second, you misquoted the person that did

Third, the person who did say it predicted folks like you would misquote him.    Here is the exact quote:

“I’ve come to a place where I’ve come to the conclusion that the only good Democrat is a dead Democrat. I don’t say that in the physical sense and I can already see the videos getting edited where it says I wanna go murder Democrats. No, I say that in the political sense because the Democrat agenda and policy is anti-American right now.”

Doh, busted before you even started.

He still shouldn't have said, "I’ve come to a place where I’ve come to the conclusion that the only good Democrat is a dead Democrat." In our leftist sound byte driven media that is the only thing they will concentrate on. The rest will never get the play.

Now if he said, "I’ve come to a place where I’ve come to the conclusion that all Democrats are dead on the inside. Because the Democrat agenda and policy is anti-American right now.” It would have accomplished the exact same thing. It wouldn't have mattered what byte they clipped- both would have worked equally well.

Chicago mayor stands up for protesters' First Amendment rights but not churchgoers

5ed2c05adcca1lori-lightfoot.png

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot is a typical Democrat who doesn’t believe the rules or the law apply to her, and that would include her own.

Readers may recall that, shortly after she issued a stay-at-home order due to the coronavirus pandemic which required “non-essential businesses” like, say, barbershops and hair salons to close, she violated it by going to a stylist and having her hair done.

She later defended her ‘do as I say, not as I do’ attitude by claiming she’s the “face” of the city and besides, why do we care anyway with so much death going on around us?

“I think what really people want to talk about is, we’re talking about people dying here. We’re talking about significant health disparities. I think that’s what people care most about,” the hypocrite mayor claimed.

Well, okay, being a hypocrite about haircuts is one thing, but when you’re a constitutional hypocrite, that’s something else because it involves actual violations of rights bequeathed to Americans from an entity far above Lightfoot’s paygrade.

***FREE ‘Keep America Great’ hat - OFFER EXPIRES SOON***

On Friday, the mayor praised the destructive rioters in Minneapolis who are using George Floyd’s unfortunate death an excuse to behave like lawless thugs and burn buildings to the ground while looting local Target stores.

She also blasted President Donald Trump for having the temerity to exclaim that if the Minneapolis mayor and state governor couldn’t get things under control in the deep blue city, he would step in and restore order.

That, Lightfoot said, was “fomenting” violence.

“We see the game he’s playing because it’s so transparent and he’s not very good at it. He wants to show failures on the part of Democratic local leaders to throw red meat to his base. His goal is to polarize, to destabilize local government and inflame racist urges. And we can absolutely not let him prevail,” she said, without any evidence or desire to cite some.

She then added this: “I will code what I really want to say to Donald Trump. It’s two words: It begins with F and ends with YOU.”

Nice. That must be what they mean by ‘the Chicago way.’

But Lightfoot’s gutter vulgarities (remember when Democrats used to say that’s what they hated most about Trump, his demeanor?) isn’t the biggest issue, it’s her Left-wing hypocrisy.

“What I’m concerned about is the president of the United States using his bully pulpit to foment violence. That’s what I’m concerned about. There’s no other way that you can read that tweet than fomenting, encouraging violence against residents in a city or in cities across the country who are expressing themselves and exercising their First Amendment rights,” Lightfoot claimed.

‘First Amendment rights?’ You know what else is contained in the First Amendment? The right to freely practice your religious faith.

***Help Us TAKE DOWN The Liberal Media With Our TRUMP News Mobile App!***

Lightfoot has no issue with Left-wing anarchy taking place on the streets of another mayor’s city because that’s ‘speech.’ But she sure hates freedom of religion, as evidenced by the fact that she sent Chicago cops to shut down the Cornerstone Baptist Church last week as Pastor Courtney Lewis and worshippers were trying to practice their faith.

Because that portion of the First Amendment doesn’t apply during a stay-at-home order…that the mayor herself is permitted to violate…but protesting (without practicing social distancing) is okay.

If folks in Chicago are okay with this gargantuan Democrat duplicity, then by all means, they should elect more Lori Lightfoots to office.   https://trendingpolitics.com/chicago-mayor-stands-up-for-protesters-first-amendment-rights-but-not-churchgoers/
