Ohio man in custody after kneeling on crying White child's neck, praising Black Lives Matter

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

An Ohio man who was out on parole has been thrown in jail and awaits new felony charges after a photo circulated on social media showing him posing with his knee to the neck of a crying, White 2-year-old boy alongside a message referencing Black Lives Matter.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office first became aware of the photo circulating social media on Tuesday and appears to be a direct reference to the former Minnesota cop, Derek Chauvin, who leaned on the neck of George Floyd  before he died, sparking months of protests and unrest across the U.S.

The photo shows a man, who has since been identified as 20-year-old Isaiah Jackson, with his knee on the neck of a crying white toddler who is only wearing a diaper. Another person holds the child’s hands behind his back. The banner across the photo read: “Blm now mf."

Patrol units were able to determine the location where the incident took place and made contact with both the mother and the child, as well as the male subject seen kneeling in the image, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office said in an update on Facebook Thursday. The relationship between Jackson and the child's mother is unknown.

Jackson, a parole authority holder from the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, was taken into custody and remains incarcerated in the Clark County Jail. He is waiting for the county prosecutor “to provide a determination on the scope and breadth of the felony charges that will be supported by that office for presentation in court,” according to the sheriff’s office.

The child, who has not been identified by authorities, was taken to a local hospital for examination, where he was found to have no injuries related to the incident.

The sheriff's office said the mother, who also has not been identified, told deputies that “she was unaware of the photo having been taken, or its contents, until she had been informed by other parties while the Sheriff's Office was enroute to her home to begin the investigation into this incident.” The investigation is ongoing.

Personally, I hope the sick piece of filth is sent to prison for a long, long, long time! I further hope he is put into general population as well and see how long he lasts? My guess is not very long. I am normally pretty easy going except in cases like this...Also seems like another individual is helping and holding the child's arms behind his back. They need to nail that person as well.

One city ingratiating itself for favor and support of the United States against its 'mother country,' and the other city exercising the right and privilege to criticize some activity/ies in the United States?

You have a pretext without any context rendered in the image you posted.

Where did you get this image?

Online.

Is it two images separate images smashed together?

Yup.

A tale of Two Cities signifying what?

Remember the Dickens Classic? It compared two events, remember?

One city ingratiating itself for favor and support of the United States against its 'mother country,' and the other city exercising the right and privilege to criticize some activity/ies in the United States?

Correction: One city fighting for the rights it was promised using the American flag as a symbol of freedom and another city where a few are trying to invoke mob rule invoking the flag of China as a symbol.

You have a pretext without any context rendered in the image you posted.

Yup, I'm depending on people to get the meaning. You know, the old adage - "One picture is worth a thousand words!"

I wonder-- as the details are released in the Ghislaine Maxwell case-- will information come out that Trump abused little children at Epstein's parties?

(Of course he can't be tried until after he leaves office).

BLM started out with legitimate protests and when some became rioters and other groups infiltrated them, they did nothing to keep peacefully protesting but rather many joined the rioters. CNN, MSNBC, and the Dem party leaders look the other way and try to poison America with their  "but Trump".

The result of the Dems unwillingness to serve the people who elected them and look the other way will result in another 4 years of Trump, Repub Senate and quite possibly Repub control of the House.

Glad you asked: Trump is a Chump! On the television today; selling his 'wares' for all they are worth again. His feds are going to fix Portland or bring the city and its mayor down to its knees. Breaking News! The Feds are pulling out of Portland and Oregon on Thursday:

Oregon Gov. Kate Brown (D) announced Wednesday that the Trump administration has agreed to withdraw federal tactical teams from Portland, Ore., which for weeks has been the site of violent clashes between officers and protesters.
. . . .
“These federal officers have acted as an occupying force, refused accountability, and brought violence and strife to our community," Brown said.

"Our local Oregon State Police officers will be downtown to protect Oregonians' right to free speech and keep the peace," she added. "Let's center the Black Lives Matter movement's demands for racial justice and police accountability. It's time for bold action to reform police practices."

The whole protest thing should have been nipped in the bud, this is why.

Exactly!

People should not be allowed to protest (anything).

Why?

Because it eventually it always leads to this sort of thing.

(As far as I'm concerned, we should get rid of the entire First Amendment-- in fact repealing it is long overdue)

I read an article that stated the child went to the hospital and had no physical injuries. Of course an X-ray can’t show emotional injuries.

Does anyone know what types of charges can be brought against him? He was arrested on a parole Violation.

I hope the baby is taken away from the mother who allowed this monster into his life.

The sheriff's office said the mother, who also has not been identified, told deputies that she was unaware of the photo having been taken, or its contents, until she had been informed by other parties while the Sheriff's Office was enroute to her home to begin the investigation into this incident.” The investigation is ongoing.

She can not be held responsible for what she did not know about a given situation. She is not an accessory, for she did nothing to assist him (and the other person partially in the picture. She could be responsible for allowing him around her child in the future. Moreover, there is no real proof of injury to this child. And though the child is upset we have no real clarification of harmful and dangerous pressure being applied to the child's neck. It could just be a SICK 'photo-shoot.' (Taken in an instant.)

All such considerations taken account of; this is a sad, ridiculous, and potentially dangerous thing to do to a child! For its intended purpose alone, I condemn it.

I realize he is a moron and may have done it without realizing what he was doing, but thats not entirely likely.

Someone would have to be a literal idiot to not realize that part of Trump's base is centered on white grievance and or a version of white nationalism.

Some prominent ones too:

Former KKK leader David Duke: 'We won it for Donald Trump'

A former   Ku Klux Klan   leader – or 'grand wizard' – has suggested fascists had helped   Donald Trump   win the   US presidential election .

David Duke , who once led the neo-Nazi, white-supermacist organisation, tweeted the claim on election night.

“This is one of the most exciting nights of my life,” Mr Duke wrote.

“Make no mistake about it, our people have played a huge role in electing Trump!”

Ex 'grand wizard' of infamous racist group posts a series of bizarre images of Mr Trump, including one of him holding a rifle standing on a tank, surrounded by fireworks, an eagle and the US flag

So if seeding this article "proves" that all BLM supporters abuse children-- then the words of David Duke definitely "prove" that all Trump supporters are Klan supporters!

(Obviously neither if true-- however over the years I've seen so many users of Social Media sites such as NV and NT post something about one single nutcase--- which many say "proves" that if one person does something, their entire group does).

Depends upon the state-- but in many states there's really nothing they can do about bad teachers.

Why?

Because the teacher's unions are way too powerful.

(If you're a politician running for any office, the last thing you want to do is piss off the teachers' unions. In some states they have a huge "Political war-chest" [Money] and a large membership. And one of the main things they do is protect teachers' jobs-- regardless of whether or not they are competent).

I totally agree.

In addition to protecting the jobs of incompetent (and in some cases dangerous) members, in many places they are ripping off the taxpayers. And in recent years they are actually bankrupting local counties and municipalities

(it does vary from state to state, but in the worst cases what they are doing is terrible).

I do not agree with anybody hurting or negatively affecting a child/ren. However, I will take a different tack on this story if only briefly as a means of forcing a consideration on some here:

For those of you, us, worried about the present and future mental welfare of this child and who are in a state of genuine outrage over his abuse, the message is clear:

You should equally be worried and outraged at the mistreatments, physical and mental injuries, and deaths of young black youth and adults at the hands of people they should trust.

I get Isaiah's "shocking" point, though it is morally wrong, wrong, wrong, to make it using any innocent child! (All children are innocent in this case!)

What makes you think I'm not outraged?  I don't see how any mother or father could not be affected by what they witness, but let me be clear; I am just as concerned about Black on Black crime as I am with Cop on Black suspects using excessive force ending with the death of that suspect.

Tell me, why do you bring it up in the first place?   Do you believe all White people are incapable of caring about more than one child?  Here on Newstalkers, do you see me as a callous person with no regard for all people?

The "us" is the collective and encompassing use of the word. All murders are demoralizing and without redeeming value—even black on black murders!

I bring it up, because all the phone-cam deaths we see are unrighteous wrongs. Each one is shocking and shout outrage as much as the impact of seeing a mere and innocent 'babe' under the foot and over-powered by some one with the effectual power to do great bodily harm or snuff out the breath of life.

White people are loving people. I know this, because white people are not a mystery (an unknown) quantity and quality to me. I speak to people in the world everyday of all ethnic persuasions. I have enjoyed their friendships, "broke bread," trusted them in the bedroom with my deepest desires. Furthermore, more directly, white people are heavily involved in the BLM movement as certain blocs of whites have been involved in supporting and protecting black people since time immemorial.

Suz, I am coming to know you. At first glance, I am 'exploring' your presentation of yourself. (Smile.)
