U.S.—Somber members of the press offered their thoughts and prayers that someone would start some violence at the gun rights rally in Virginia today.

Reporters expressed their grief and condolences as the violence they hyped has so far failed to materialize.
"Nobody has so much as fired a shot. This is an unbelievable tragedy," said one teary-eyed MSNBC reporter, clearly caught up in the anguish of the moment. "It's tragic that we live in a country where reporters who are just minding their own business trying to push a narrative can have everything ripped away from them in an instant when protesters refuse to shoot at people."
A CBS News reporter called for a moment of silence live on the air. "Let's all take a minute and cry out to a non-specific deity of our choice that any second now, a miraculous shooting would occur." When it did not occur, she began weeping and gnashing her teeth before ripping her suit jacket in despair. "WHY, GOD, WHY!?!"
One CNN reporter has offered up to $1,000 for anyone who will start some violence to help out the narrative.

I thought it was kind of odd that not much has been said about it. I looked around and none of the big three have said much about it. I was curious and wanted to see what was happening. Not much of anything reported on.

I guess it is only news if something bad happens.

The sad part is that even though it's satire it is probably pretty true.

It's really not even satire.

Virginia declares emergency as tensions escalate over gun-rights rally

"They are not coming to peacefully protest. They are coming to cause intimidation and to cause harm," Northam, a Democrat, said at a news conference.

Nets Join Dems in Painting Gun Rights Advocates as Violent Terrorists

“There are new fears tied to a pro-gun rally that’s scheduled in Virginia,” co-host Savannah Guthrie warned viewers on NBC’s Today show. Leading off the full report that followed, correspondent Geoff Bennett added to the hysteria: “The Virginia capital is bracing for violence ahead of next week’s gun rights rally. Officials are concerned it could be a rerun of the deadly Charlottesville protests that unfolded three years ago.”

On CBS This Morning , fill-in co-host Michelle Miller panicked: “The arrest of three alleged white supremacists is raising alarms ahead of a gun rights rally in Richmond, Virginia.” She proclaimed: “The state’s governor says there is credible intelligence of potential violence at Monday’s event.” The headline “Gun Rally Threat” appeared on screen next to her as she introduced the segment.

Reporting from Richmond, correspondent Jeff Pegues sensationalized: “The arrest of the three men, Michelle, is really feeding this narrative that there could be violence here on Monday. In fact, investigators say the three men were targeting the event as a way of spreading their hate-filled ideology.”

“The arrests only reinforce concerns Monday’s rally could be a repeat of what happened in Charlottesville in 2017 unless officials intervene,” he feared moments later.

Weapons, flags, no violence: Massive pro-gun rally in Virginia capital

Inside the white-columned Capitol, the halls were strangely quiet as lawmakers went about their business. Young pages had the day off for safety . . . There were almost no signs of counter-protesters. In a rare clash, a man who said he was a shooting survivor confronted a teen carrying an oversize long gun. “Why do you need to have that gun?” the man demanded. A small contingent watched the two argue; they eventually shook hands and walked off peacefully.

Marching around with guns on your chest? That’s all about fear.

THIS JUST IN!

Sources have reported that stores in the Northern Virginia area have run out of Depends and other brands if adult incontinence products. Price gouging has been reported at stores in Richmond. The governor is expected to declare a state of emergency at any time. Truckloads of adult diapers are being sent in from surrounding states.

Have you seen her? Looks like a Antifa snowflake, Maybe that's why Antifa didn't make the showing they said they were going to do, they couldn't wear their masks.

ARREST MADE: At around 1:30 p.m. today, Mikaela E. Beschler, 21, of the 1100 block of North 34th Street, of Richmond, VA was arrested by a Richmond Police officer who was working Lobby Day. She was charged with one felony count of wearing a mask in public in the 800 block of East Broad Street. The arrest resulted after the officer saw Beschler for a third time with a bandanna covering her face. He had repeatedly warned her on two separate occasions to adjust the bandanna. Beschler was released on her own recognizance. Her booking photo is attached.

The odds of Antifa pussies finding a old lady to harass that wasn't armed was slim. I guess certain types can't cheer about Antifa this week....
