This is Left Wing Terrorism. The Governor of Minnesota said he spoke with the DOD and there is evidence forces inside and outside the US are coordinating these riots.

Some of these groups do have ties to the Democrat party. The Attorney General and former Co-chair of the Democrat party Keith Ellison is an Antifa supporter. Our media since 2016 has promoted and protected these traitors to our principles. 

Last night a police officer was executed and a federal officer. They opened fire on our brave men and women that serve this country. It's time to make sure the soldiers tasked with protecting these cities be able to defend us against enemies both foreign and domestic. 

It's a sad time in our country and these riots have nothing to do with a white cop killing a black man. This is about a domestic left wing terrorist organization hell bent on destroying America as we know it.

So far only two people have died in these protests, one a protester and the other a security guard. The protester was shot by someone who pulled up to the crowd in their Dodge Durango and opened fire on the protesters killing a 19 year old who was peacefully protesting just like that scum right wing piece of shit who rammed his car into the crowd in Charlottesville. And yes, it's regrettable that some opportunists are taking advantage of the protests to wreak havoc but the vast majority of the protesters are peaceful and simply expressing their outrage at another racist killing of an unarmed black American for no reason.

So if there is anyone to blame for the vast majority of domestic terrorism it's right wing conservative radio and media that whips their ignorant listeners into a frenzy as they demonize minorities, progressives and liberals to the point where many have acted on that bigoted rhetoric.

Oh, that "security guard" that you speak of happens to be a Federal Security Officer....  in other words a FEDERAL COP.   They're hired and are securing almost all federal buildings nationally to include the CIA, NCTC, NRO and a number of other agencies and departments.

Don't forget that it was/is far right wing marchers defying rational shelter at home orders and carrying assault weapons that started out this "marching season". There were obviously some powerful right wing radical organizations behind those idiotic suicidal protest marches.

Most of the cities with protests that have turned into rioting, burning, looting etc have seen the same thing many times before. They do not have do not have a plan to prevent this from happening. It happened in Seattle today

What do most of these cities have? Democrats for mayors. Just listened to the mayor of Seattle press conference and she said, we have seen this happen across the country for the past several days and still it happened today in Seattle. She also said she knew it was not going to come from the peaceful protesters but rather those who thrive on breaking the law, looting grocery stres etc and in the end stores will close and food not available from those locations. 

No plan in place to prevent or diminish the riots, downtown buildings burned looted, police and private cars on fire, I-5 shut down due to rioters in the lanes, She called for the National Guard to help get the situation under control and said they cannot bring any weapons. The local news channels show the police are standing by getting hit by bricks, rocks, getting personally shoved etc. Her aim is to let them blow off steam instead of stopping these lawbreakers.

My kids were in Baltimore when this was going on and it wasn't a matter of placating. It was disorganized and confused about how to handle it without making matters worse. The looting was an excuse by a criminal element that lives there. The police allowed them to burn down their own neighborhoods but didn't let it near the college part of town. That being said, many of the people who lived there came out against those who were burning down their own part of town.

I have no idea what you are talking about. I do know that the mayor's statements as misspoken as they were, caused her, her mayorship.

It has been a theme of protests when a person of color dies at the hands of a white police officer that the protest turns into rioting, been happening at least as far back as 1967. 

What has the NYC mayor done to prevent that from happening now. Why didn't he have a proactive plan instead of being reactive this time.

I live in Seattle and our mayor said the same thing today after the protests turned into riots. I have questioned her since she became mayor if she had a plan for this without any answers. 

They knew it was coming and had no planning done.

First of all, NYC riots have all been handled beyond well by our police. What preventive acts should the police have done? We don't live in a police state, do we? Even Gullaini got on TV last night and said to take note, that not only our police officers were effective, that their top brass took to the streets to make sure the job was effective and with minimum harm.

Vic, buddy, you don't get it. The problem is not the riots.

The problem is police harassing and killing people of color just because they are people of color. The problem is there are still other Americans' who receive disproportionate attention from the police for being who they are: People of color.

The riots are a direct outgrowth of people who do not feel that they are given the same chances because it is evidenced in their daily lives. 

A friend of mine, Brady, from the time I lived in Arkansas wrote this the other day on Facebook:

I wrote on Friday that Jesus wasn't killed for his rendition of Kumbaya. In the same way, Dr. King wasn't killed for having a dream. In the five years in between the famous speech and his assassination, while still aggressively opposing violence, he heaped blame at the feet of white America. Maybe we'll hear him this time...

I would say that Dr. King did not really heap the blame at the feet of white America, he uncovered it and brought it into the light of day.

Firstly, The Reverend Dr Martin Luther King Jr. was a Republican and a Progressive. The two are not mutually exclusive. Teddy Roosevelt was a Republican and a Progressive.

So, if you feel uncomfortable about this characterization, maybe you should think about what you are saying about the people who are protesting and the people who are rioting and the people who are looting. Some of them, undoubtedly, are just there for free stuff and to cause trouble. The majority of the people, I would posit, are of the feeling that WE don't give a rats ass about them, and therefore shouldn't about us.

I think the correct term is liberal. As far as I'm concerned there is a distinction between the old fashioned liberals who believed in Civil Liberties and the modern progressive who simply does not. IMO, the progressive movement began in the late 60's.

Thanks for the additional info. I'm glad you injected the politics of those turbulent times. They are relevant to 2020 in recalling the election of 1968. The law and order candidate was Richard Nixon and he won decisively. I'm one who lived then and recall how sick and tired the American public was with all the protests. It is also claimed that the 68 election was a realignment election that ended the "New Deal Coalition" which had dominated presidential politics up until that time.

What are your trying to say? Are you claiming that all of the rioters and looters were minorities, and all those that were peacefully protesting were white?  There were no minority peaceful protesters that could have stood up to the rioters and looters. What a crock. Or are you claiming that on minority protesters could take on minority rioters/looters; and white protesters have to take on white rioters and looters? Welcome to the left's version of utopia, where racial division takes on a whole new meaning.

The protesters should have stopped the rioters/looters period. First, so that they wouldn't get lumped in with them. Second, to stop the damage the rioting and looting caused. Monday, May 25th, was about the murder of Floyd.   Even STARTING on Tuesday May 26th, it was about Floyd and quickly devolved into rioting when darkness fell.

From Wednesday, May 27th, it was pure rioting and there was no mention or thought of George Floyd.  Hell the LLSBT's even ignored the Floyd family and his girlfriend to stop the violence, which proved one salient fact.  Floyd meant nothing, but the violence, destruction and theft was the prime motivator.

I got up early this morning to take the wife to work and checked out both Fox and MSDNC. Both had started their morning shows earlier than normal. The difference was Fox was covering the rioting and looting AND discussing the death of Floyd, where MSDNC was analyzing the death of George Floyd, but no mention of the looting and rioting.

I would not be surprised if you told a MSDNC watcher that there was looting and rioting in the country by leftist and they would give you a blank stare

Actually it IS the same context. There were two sides to the statue issue before the extremes showed up to do battle. For those who don't remember it was a question of tearing down statues that one side found offensive and another side found to be a part of our history.

And he can wants to use blaming the Dems to his advantage to bolster his reelection.

I remember the Watts riots very, very well, and the garbage that is going on now seems to be a replay of that event, but, on a much larger scale.

I feel for those people.  They're trying to help clean up what others in the neighborhoods destroyed.

My daughter-in-laws uncle lives in that area.   He's moving in with his sister in a northwest suburb as he's in physical rehab after shattering his ankle.   He's the Priest that presided over my son and his wife's marriage.  He thought he was going to die last night because the building next to his apartment was burned to the ground and he can't get out without assistance.

The most moving thing was watching the MPLS firefighter and his wife cry as they watched their lounge burn to the ground.   They lived in the area and had invested all of their savings into the business.  I hope they're smart enough to take whatever insurance they get, his pension and run from that place like the devil himself is chasing them.

Last we heard, yeah.  His problem now is a new rehab facility....   the one he went to is a pile of ashes.  I'm sure they can find an "in-network" operation in the Maple Grove area.

I am very upset about these people looting and not wearing masks. You just know that there is going to be an uptick after these events around the US. And for the record, the Mayor of NY expressed his concern over this, and that is why he sent out the police in force to stop the protests. The president called Floyd’s death a “tragedy” and said “it should never have happened.”

“It filled America all over the country with horror, anger and grief,” Trump said Saturday, noting that he spoke to Floyd’s family and “expressed the sorrow of our entire nation for their loss.”

“I stand before you as a friend and ally of every American seeking justice and peace,” the president said, before adding he also stands in opposition to looters.

The president went on to say that he understands the “pain” that people feel, and said his administration “supports the right of peaceful protesters and we hear their pleas,” but said much of “what we are seeing on the streets of our cities has nothing to do with justice or peace.”

“The memory of Floyd is being dishonored by rioters, looters, and anarchists,” Trump said, blaming "Antifa and other radical left-wing groups for terrorizing the innocent, destroying jobs, hurting businesses and burning down buildings."

PROTESTS DEMANDING JUSTICE FOR GEORGE FLOYD RAMP UP AGAIN NATIONWIDE

It is unclear which groups may be participating in the riots across the country. The president has maintained that Antifa and other left-wing groups are to blame, while Minnesota officials claimed that white supremacists and other elements were involved in stoking violence.

Trump went on to warn that the “main victims of this horrible situation ... are the citizens that live in these once lovely communities.”

He added: “In America, justice is never achieved at the hands of an angry mob. I will not allow angry mobs to dominate.”

The riots broke out across the nation after Floyd died in police custody on Monday.

Floyd was arrested Monday after an employee at a grocery store called police and accused him of trying to pass a counterfeit $20 bill. Floyd, who is black, was then handcuffed by Derek Chauvin, who is white, and pushed to the ground.

A cell phone video shows Floyd’s head is turned to the side and he does not appear to be resisting. Chauvin had his knee pressed to the back of Floyd’s neck for several minutes as Floyd is seen gasping for air and begging Chauvin to stop. He does not. Bystanders are also heard shouting at Chauvin to take his knee off of Floyd’s neck.

Floyd, 46, died in police custody Monday night.

Chauvin was charged Friday with 3rd-degree murder and manslaughter in Minnesota.

The president went on to tout “the leadership of the National Guard,” which was mobilized to Minnesota on Friday.

I’m just glad about the volunteer group in South Philly that go to store fronts to keep looters out while carrying American Flags and chanting USA!
