Will 'conservatives' hold their Senators to their word?

This is what they've said:

"This may make you feel better, but I really don't care," Graham said. "If an opening comes in the last year of President Trump's term, and the primary process has started, we'll wait until the next election."

Collins said earlier this month she would not seat a new Justice in October 2020 or if there's a lame duck and a change of presidents. "I think that's too close, I really do," she said.

Late in 2016, Tillis wrote "The current Supreme Court vacancy is incredibly unique. It was created in February of an election year as Americans were casting ballots to elect the next president. It’s a vacancy that will determine the direction of the court for decades. Given that rare set of circumstances, the Senate Republican majority made a promise to use the vacancy as an opportunity to let the American people have a voice."

"The next president of the United States should have the opportunity to fill the vacancy on the Supreme Court. Our next election is too soon and the stakes are too high; the American people deserve a role in this process as the next Supreme Court Justice will influence the direction of this country for years to come." Gardner said at the time.

"When Republicans held off Merrick Garland it was because nine months prior to the election was too close, we needed to let people decide. And I agreed to do that. If we now say that months prior to the election is OK when nine months was not, that is a double standard and I don't believe we should do it," Murkowski said. "So I would not support it."

Which of these Senator's will stand by their word?

IMHO, only Murkowski will stand firm and the conservative constituents of the other Senators won't care if they're hypocrites.

scumbag fascists don't care how many times they move the goal posts, as long as they get their bought and paid for justices on the SCOTUS.

I think Murkowski and Collins will vote against a nomination, the others are slimier.

Susan Collins is full of 'shit.' She has become something of a laughingstock for her 'ordeals' in D.C. If she had a "made for tv movie." It would be a two-hour production of her writhing and wringing her hands, while failing to stand for anything beyond her conservative status quo. By all indications, she is a "go" for this Trump selected hard-case conservative associate justice.

Susan Collins is a piece of work. Weak, but effective, for conservatives. I don't expect any good from a Trump supporter. Indeed, I expect nothing from Trump and his supporters that will make my life worth living. going forward.

I don't think much of Lisa Murkowski's "thinking and reasoning" either on this big opportunity to screw liberals but(t) good.

Collins will vote against a nomination

She has already issued a statement saying so.  However, I was disappointed with her ultimate decision regarding Brett Kavanaugh, and now we are stuck with this:

OIP.5x3YKhRs-L2lij2vOy13SwHaEK?w=333&h=187&c=7&o=5&pid=1.7

She was a last minute caver, and they are the worst.

Evidently Collins made some sort of statement today saying that the president elected on Nov 3rd should pick Ginsburg's replacement.  Let's see if she has the guts to stand by her words.

Susan Collins is full of shit. Toss her out. Should she want a leadership role in conservative-land she will keep the status quo. Should she want to politically 'eat' or continue to matter in her social circles, she will follow Donald's demands. I don't and I won't fall for her 'fake ordeals in courage' - she leaves herself wiggle room to get out every time: She is trying to straddle the vote:

The sheet of paper in Charlie Brown's left hand had small print on it.  Charlie failed to read it.

Nope. And if you thought the pressure was on republican senators to tow the line for Kavanaugh, you have not imagined anything yet. The 24/7 conservative talk 'dial' is primed and already ''spitting' on any republican senator doubting Donald, his think-tank pick, and not voting to hold this vote.

As for me, Trump, Trumpism, and Trump supporters are now anathema. The die has been casted. I have finally found a set of people by "type" of whom I can honestly say I find their words utterly corrupt and a bad influence on my life.

Lindsey Graham just announced that, although he was against a confirmation vote in 2016, he will vote to confirm in 2020.  His hypocrisy is no surprise at all.

Who nominated Merrick Garland?

What SENATORS said about Merrick Garland is on topic, Obama is NOT.

Last warning.

Incidentally, sides are being drawn up in political and real human blood, sweat, and tears. It is time for independents to critically decide which party is more on the side of law and order, right and wrong, and decency and out of bounds. Justice Ginsberg, rest her soul, is the linchpin that will define us all (on NT) as if we are really walking the walk politically or firing blanks. Women's rights on on the line, LGBTQ rights on the line, Justice is on the line, Civil rights are on the line, good governance is on the line, truth as a matter of fairness and equity is on the line, shall I go on?

The Biden rule was never an actual rule, and even if it were, it would be a dumb rule. The processes of government - not to mention specifically, the smooth operation of the judicial branch - should not come to a screeching halt just because an election is looming.

Tell it Mitch McConnell, the Senate Majority Leader at the time who coined the phrase. There are no "smooth" operations of the system in the Senate, House, or Presidency when people operate without home training, decency, respect for one another, and rules. So you the judicial branch is not to be trusted. Some Trump conservatives are about to complete the ruin of everything they touch in government.

Mark this: I utterly lost respect in the republicans and conservatives this day. I may not ever get it back. The only other "agency" that has happened with in my life is AT & T. I unattached myself from that company 30 plus years ago and to this day I spit when I get direct mail from the company.

Are you sure you want me to? Remember, I said I thought the Biden rule was a dumb rule. That could prompt him to take immediate action on any nominee.

Tell it to Mitch McConnell. After he laughs in your face and in a nice-nasty politician way blows smoke up your . . . ., report back here with your "meaningful results." Otherwise, Mitch invented the so-called, "Biden Rule" it was Machiavellian then, as the case will be coming again soon.
