Joe Biden’s campaign stop in Michigan drew plenty of residents, but it turns out most of them were supporters of President Donald Trump.

As the Democratic presidential nominee arrived in the Detroit suburb of Warren on Wednesday, he was greeted by an enthusiastic crowd holding signs and shouting chants — in support of Trump. The former vice president and his police escort could be seen arriving amid chants of “four more years” in videos posted to social media.

In town to speak at an autoworkers union hall about the auto industry and unemployment in the state, as well as his economic plan, Biden’s visit came just before Trump’s planned campaign rally in Freeland on Thursday. But many of the president’s supporters were already out in force at the Democrat’s event to show their “love” for Trump.

Some of the Michigan residents explained the lack of enthusiasm for Biden in interviews with Fox Nation host Lawrence Jones who explained to Sean Hannity that the Biden campaign reportedly kept news of the event quiet until an hour before it began.

“We love the president. We love what he does for the country,” one Michigan resident told Jones in the segment that aired on “ Hannity ” Wednesday.

“Does it surprise you that we have all of these Trump supporters right here, and only two Biden supporters over there?” Jones asked one man.

“My position would be the Biden supporters are so fractured, and most of them are probably still asleep at home, just like Sleepy Joe,” he responded.

“China owns Joe Biden,” one woman, holding a Trump campaign flag, told Jones.

“Biden doesn’t have the support that Trump has,” another woman said.

Jones also spoke with voters in the area about whether they felt Biden was actually hiding from voters and making the same mistake that Hillary Clinton made in 2016 or if he really is focusing on Michigan.

“Did you know the vice president was going to be here in Michigan?” Jones asked a man in a hard hat.

“No, not really. Not until the very last second,” he replied, adding later that Biden is “trying to hide from the people because he is not actually representing the people. The people have different views than what he is actually pushing.”

Other people Jones spoke to acknowledged that they supported the Democrat but were not happy about the way he has been hiding from them.

Fox News politics editor Chris Stirewalt discussed the swing voters on “ Bill Hemmer Reports ” and noted how the election may play out in Michigan where Trump became the first Republican to win the state since George H.W. Bush in 1988.

“They go with the candidate that they think is going to take their issues to heart,” Stirewalt said, “that are going to bring back the auto industry or help America recover [from the coronavirus pandemic] or deal with China.”

“These are swing voters of a certain attitude and style that Donald Trump connected with,” he said. “And what you heard from Joe Biden today, he’s taking back the message from Trump, the Buy American, Build American. That was an issue that Democrats used to win on in places like this and talk about in places like this … Those were staples for Democrats.”

A recent CNBC/Change Research poll showed that 49 percent of respondents in Michigan indicated they will vote for Biden, and 43 percent backed Trump. A new poll by The Detroit News and WDIV released Tuesday showed that, while Biden is still leading, Trump is narrowing the gap.

Meanwhile, images of the Trump supporters greeting Biden as he arrived for his Michigan campaign event sparked plenty of entertained responses on social media.

More bad news for Biden and good for Trump:

Did this really happen? Did CNN allow this to air? Former Vice President Joe Biden admitted that President Donald Trump’s renegotiating of the North America Free Trade Agreement was not only good, but it’s a better policy. Yeah, Trump’s United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement is a huge trade deal for which Trump gets no credit. He got no credit because the liberal media did their job in suffocating the coverage, just as they did with the Middle East peace agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. And they did it again with the new agreement between Israel and the Balkan States. If Obama did this, there would be endless coverage about what a master statesman he is on world affairs, except that he isn’t. He certainly wasn’t that as president. The world burned under Obama. Trump has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize and he should get it.

Yet, back to Biden, slow Joe tried to make that case that USMCA wasn’t a Trump win. CNN’s Jake Tapper pushed correctly that the agreement came into being, with the president’s signature, because Trump promised to renegotiate the deal. Democrats weren’t interested in doing that in 2016. The long pause from Tapper upon hearing Joe’s weak sauce rebuttal says it all.

Mark this down as another ‘promises made, promises kept’ moment for the Trump team. The president promised to do this in 2016—and got it done. And it’s better than NAFTA; Joe just said it.

So, for blue-collar workers who flocked to Trump in ’16. You have a pretty good reason to vote for Trump again, this time with a stamp of approval from Joe Biden.

While it's nice to see CNN not be a total lapdog for once, Tapper has some explaining to do regarding his apparent interference in Pennsylvania's elections.

Right on cue...

The Flint drinking water crisis was a local issue caused by Snyder's appointee.

Snyder continues to support other Republican candidates.  What a terrible rino!

Snyder recognizes, as does almost every other thinking human being, that "Trump lacks a moral compass. He ignores the truth".  (His words.)
