The Worst Interview of the Year

We the People

Last night the venerable Bret Baier attempted to conduct a simple interview with TJ Ducklo, national press secretary for the Biden campaign. Ducklo basically ignored the questions and used talking points and campaign slogans to bash the President.

I counted 7 questions, none of which got an answer.

For our unbiased, mature readers:

Fox News has been featuring representatives of the Biden campaign almost on a nightly basis. Most of these individuals have tried to spin answers to important questions but T J takes the cake for not answering a single question. He wasn't even subtle about it. Notice the fast talking rant?  Unfortunately, for Joe Biden, who lacks those simple abilities, the first debate is less than 3 weeks away.

Before I forget, here is a shout out to the Governor of Oregon, the 27 arrested there a few days ago and of course, all my progressive friends:

The nation (most Cable News viewers watch Fox News) was subjected to a lifetime's worth of rambling deflection within a short few minutes last night.

I think T J lost more votes for Biden than he gained. What say you?

I think it is true in general. We are seeing evidence all the time.

For instance:

Yup, people have had their belly-full of progressive messaging. We can't go anywhere without seeing it!

Interesting you bring that up Vic. Had the next door neighbor over last night to eat and watch the game. As they were doing the National Anthem, I mentioned something about the Black National Anthem and that they were going to play it at the NFL games. He indignantly said "There is no Black National Anthem!". I told him again that there was and he basically shouted "Fake News!!!!!" and got up and stormed out (he was a bit buzzed already). Can you guess what party he is a die hard supporter of? Sure ya can..........

I don't know how some people are oblivious to current news and events. Willful ignorance I guess???

We can't turn away from the progressive massaging, it's everywhere around us. There is that subtle threat - vote for Biden and it might end!

I thought the last question was the best - Does Joe Biden use a teleprompter to do interviews?

By not answering the American people have now concluded that, yup, he does!

He has a long way to go to catch up with the hundreds of lies Trump's  press people have told to the American people.

-

This interview is no different than any other tv interview, the flack spins.

-

In general, I'm not in favor of youngish spokespeople for national politicians.

Especially when Biden has most of the media on his side, therefore here is a question for you:

Since Biden has become the democratic nominee has there been a single negative story about him?

Every election this century the MSM has becomes progressively more  partisan.  There isn't even a pretense of objectivity anymore.  The only  criticism you'll possibly see  is that the Democrat isn't progressive enough.

It is a problem not only for the US, but even for the Western paradigm.

They have narratives substituted for truth. They are all in on defeating one man.

I saw lowlights of that interview.  He was totally lost through out it.

Here would have been my question:

If Biden were president - how would he have responded to a pandemic while hiding & quivering in his basement?

He was totally lost through out it.

Ducklo reminded me of a deer caught in the headlights as he blathered and evaded very simple questions. At 31-32, he's far too young to do this job. Plus, he has Stage 4 lung cancer.

The Biden campaign needs to replace Ducklo with someone who can credibly answer basic questions (with appropriate framing of course) or skillfully dodge them without coming across as a talking point attack dog.    Ducklo has a lot to learn.

That was almost painful to watch. Biden's spokesman was so out of his depth.

I almost feel sorry for him. He's probably used to going on CNN or MSNBC (or any other channel) where  the toughest question he'd face is "Why is Trump so evil?"  To actually face a journalist who will push back is probably something Biden's team didn't think was possible.

Wow. That was pretty bad.

Unfortunately, that's the way it seems to be a lot of the time in these interviews. A specific question is asked and the guest launches into whatever mini speech they wanted to make. I think we'll see the same garbage in the debates (if they ever happen). What a waste!

On FNC, Donna Brazile, Chris Hahn, Jessica Tarlov, Marie Harf, Mary Ann Marsh, Leslie Marshall, and other Democrats filibuster and don't let others on their panels speak.

It's just about complaining for the sake of complaining. Look at the first question about what specifically Biden would have done differently. There's no answer. There never is.

Practically every day on this site we see the same thing with seeds complaining about Trump's response to the virus. But we never hear about a different course of action that would have been viable and would actually have had a different effect.

That's why the Biden campaign - like those of so many other Democrats - has been more about being not-Trump than the positive things they might do.

There's a lot of shameful Democrat politically-driven revisionist history even with Covid-19.
