The top rated show in cable news history just blew a story open
“I remember saying, ‘How are you guys getting away with this?’ ‘Aren't you concerned?’” he told Carlson.

We the People

Last night the nation's most important journalist interviewed Tony Bobulinski, a former business associate of Hunter Biden. Bobulinski noted that he had tried to warn the Biden family of the embarrassment that could come from Joe Biden’s alleged ties to his son's business deals. Deals that could put a future presidential campaign at risk.

“I remember saying, ‘How are you guys getting away with this?’ ‘Aren't you concerned?’” he told Carlson.

He claims that Jim Biden chuckled.

"'Plausible Deniability,' he said it directly to me in a cabana at the Peninsula Hotel,” he said.

https://www.foxnews.com/us/hunter-bidens-ex-business-associate-talks-to-tucker-carlson-tonight

Tony Bobulinski went on to accuse Joe Biden of a "blatant lie" in denying any familiarity with his son Hunter's business undertakings, claiming he himself met with Biden on two separate occasions to discuss prospective ventures into Chinese markets. He also claimed that the Bidens received a $5 million no-collateral, no-interest loan from Chinese officials.

The story itself has been censored by social medial and generally ignored by the dishonest liberal legacy media. Fortunately, for the nation, Tucker Carlson has a wide audience and the liberal media no longer has a stranglehold on the news. As for the censors, they have their day today before a Senate Committee at 10 AM EST.

The badly tarnished FBI has agreed to meet with Mr Bobulinski. When is anyone's guess. I'm thinking after the election, if at all.

Maybe that is why so many no longer trust the media or the FBI.

So unsupported claims from a disgruntled former business partner are now supposedly reliable fact?

We have dozens of personal accounts of Biden's opponent committing crimes but they are just labeled "Never-Trumpers", shouldn't we apply the same measure to this joker? So this guy is a Never-Biden trying to get his 15 minutes of fame and be praised by conservatives. What proof does he provide? Just claims that "Jim Biden chuckled". Oooooh, damning! /s

Admit it, if this was another associate of Trump making these claims his sycophantic followers would dismiss them without another thought, there is zero actual evidence of anything criminal provided.

Good Call Buzz.

Reasonable Viewers Don’t Look to Tucker Carlson for Facts, Fox Asserts

U.S. District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil's opinion , leaning heavily on the arguments of Fox's lawyers:

The "'general tenor' of the show should then inform a viewer that [Carlson] is not 'stating actual facts' about the topics he discusses and is instead engaging in 'exaggeration' and 'non-literal commentary.' "

In light of this precedent and the context of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” the Court finds that Mr. Carlson’s invocation of “extortion” against Ms. McDougal is non-actionable hyperbole, intended to frame the debate in the guest commentator segment that followed Mr. Carlson’s soliloquy.

As Defendant notes, Mr. Carlson himself aims to “challenge" political correctness and media bias.”  This “general tenor” of the show should then inform a viewer that he is not “stating actual facts” about the topics he discusses and is instead engaging in “exaggeration” and “non-literal commentary.”

Fox persuasively argues, that given Mr. Carlson’s reputation, any reasonable viewer “arrive[s] with an appropriate amount of skepticism” about the statements he makes

Whether the Court frames Mr. Carlson’s statements as “exaggeration,” “non-literal commentary,” or simply bloviating for his audience, the conclusion remains the same—the statements are not actionable.

This region of Newstalkers has turned into our own little la la land of alternate reality.

For example, the seed brags about the influence of Tucker Carlson, who has a show every night that has upwards of 4 million viewers.  There are appx 200 million adults in America so that would indicate roughly 2% of American adults watch Carlson.

David Muir , anchor of ABC World News Tonight , has a nightly audience two or three times larger than Carlson's, every night, and though I don't watch it every night, I don't recall Muir ever mentioning Tony Bobulinski.

Is there any evidence, outside of the Fox News/right wing media cocoon, that this "Hunter Biden" baloney is having any effect at all on this election?

My point is that Vic is acting like Tucker Carlson has made some sort of epic breakthrough.  The other broadcast news outlets swamp Tucker Carlson in viewership.   The big three nightly news programs on ABC, NBC and CBS combined have far far far more viewers than Fox news.  Those news shows dont repeat this Bobulinkski bs.

The likelihood that this story of the Biden Family's corruption, money laundering, and influence peddling is true is very strong....that's why the MSM is ignoring and suppressing the information....they're scared shitless of the possible negative outcome of an investigation after the election

He doesnt.

Why because you included non-viewers in your ridiculous claim or went outside of the cable news spectrum. How does that contradict what I said?

"FOX News Channel (FNC) finished the month of October as the most-watched cable network in both total day and primetime total viewers (Persons 2+), notching 52 months in a row in the top spot across all of basic cable in total day.

FNC also saw its highest-rated October on record, marking the 10 th consecutive month this year the network has finished number one in all of cable across primetime total viewers led by  Tucker Carlson Tonight  at 8PM/ET. The program marked a new record this month, earning the highest-rated monthly viewership of any program in the history of cable news.

Tucker Carlson Tonight  also secured the number one spot in all of cable news across all categories, garnering over 5.3 million viewers, 1 million in the key demographic, and 670,000 in the 18-49 demo, beating the  CBS Evening News with Norah O’Donnell . In the A25-54 demographic,  Tucker Carlson Tonight
hit yet another milestone as the first primetime program to reach 1 million viewers in the 25-54 demo since September 2008 .

Surpassing every broadcast network in total viewers and continues to remain the number one network in all of television in primetime Memorial Day-to-date, FNC also notched the number one spot in all of television in weekday primetime with Carlson and Sean Hannity each outperforming ABC’s  The Bachelorette, The Conners, Celebrity Family Feud  and NBC’s  The Weakest Link."

I do.  I rate a cable news show against other cable news shows. I don't rate it against the networks that are free.

There is only one reason anyone would do that - to try and contradict something.
