What we can expect on Thursday
Thursday should be the final act in the farce.
Democrats who were given a yard by Chairman Grassley took ten miles, delayed and obstructed the process and smeared a very decent man.
We don't know if Christine Blasey Ford, who demanded Thursday as her day to make her unsubstantiated accusations under oath, will even show up. We do know that Brett Kavanaugh will be there. If Ms Ford attends (all lawyerd up & prepped), she will be questioned (If individual Republican Senators so choose) by a female attorney representing the Republican wing of the Committee. While that is going on, Brett Kavanaugh will not be in the room, which was another Ford demand. There can only be one reason for that, as far as I'm concerned, she can't look him in the eye!
We can expect to see, at the very least, all of the same devious tactics we have already seen coming from the radical left. I predict there will be more protesters bused in. They will be louder and more disruptive than last time. Senate democrats will again try and call for a postponing of the proceedings. There will also be new tactics. They have been plotting since last week. There will be new surprises for the overly cautious Chuck Grassley. He will have to be stronger than he has ever been. That goes for the female lawyer as well. She will have to ask hard questions of both Ms Ford and Mr Kavanaugh. We know what both will get from democrats. The dems will congratulate Ford for all her courage. They will push back on questions from the lawyer or any Republican Senator who chooses to ask his own questions. They will act as another attorney (as if Ford needed any more) for Ms Ford. When they have the chance to question Mr Kavanuagh, they will ask him a lot of "gotcha" type questions like "where were you on June 15, 1982?"
For me it's that surprise, which I know they are going to unleash on all of us. It will be disgusting, shameful, well orchestrated and very obvious. They will go lower than they ever have to prevent this confirmation and if the minority party succeeds we will not see another Conservative appointed to the Supreme Court again in our lifetimes. It will turn off most people, most voters, but they don't care, they are all in now. At the very least it will appease their angry base. These will be the final acts. It should come down to a circus on Thursday followed by the delay tactics on Friday morning and then we finally, at long last, move on to a vote before the full Senate next week.

The Senate Judiciary Committee has hired a female attorney to question Ford & Kavanaugh
Frankly I am looking forward to the chance that we might finally get something on the table under oath. The partisan frenzy has been extreme on both sides.
I do not see how anyone can be confident that they know what happened (if anything) at this point. I am skeptical that 35 year old memories as the sole evidence will be sufficient to offset evidence that Kavanaugh has done nothing like this in the last 35 years. That is, I would expect a potential rapist / exhibitionist would not be able to quiesce such behavior for the balance of his college and his entire professional career.
I am also suspicious (and frankly irritated) that Feinstein did not bring this to the committee immediately. Makes no sense to hold back if this is credible.
Hopefully we get a decent set of facts to consider.
I would like to see a Senator remind everyone of what happened to the Duke Lacrosse team and ask just this question of Ford: "Do you have any proof besides your say-so that this happened? Remember, the Duke Lacrosse team had their lives ruined because of FALSE allegations that ended up causing the Durham DA to lose his job and spend a day in jail."

Meet sweet Julie swetnick. In a signed document Ms Swetnick is alleging that Brett Kavanaugh and his friend Mark Judge went to parties that ran a gang rape train. The first question of course, is why Ms Swetnick, who claims to have been raped at one of those parties, went to such parties. I understand the Senate is already investigating this individual already. Btw, she only alleges they were present when she was raped at one of these orgies she used to frequent.
I'd like to know which one of the 10 so-called rape parties she was raped at. 1st one, 4th one, 8th one, 10th one ?
